Unfortunately, any effort to keep the vampiric population of New-Orleans down to two is doomed to failure. Like moths to a flame, the burgeoning multitudes of New-Orleans beckon to vampires near and far. Yet, the arrival of the next of these comes as a shock to both you and Villanueva.
In retrospect, you will realize that you should not have been so surprised when you were informed that the prodigal son had returned and would be petitioning his maker for succor. After all, since the subject was finally broached, Villanueva had been unable to stop talking about his errant firstmade. You might have even prepared in some way for his arrival.
But seeing the future is yet beyond your capabilities.
