CHAPTER 3: REVIVED

Raven then took her hand and brought her to the bed so he can explain some few things, he was shocked because he wasn't the type who explains things to others but her she's an exception. And Ziah just quietly followed his lead and she sat on the bed looking at him with her golden eyes

"Am Raven, the crown prince of vampire empire. And I found you dying, then I had the feeling you were my mate and I drank your blood. But you died and I think our bond revived you, just the act of me drinking your blood and bringing you back to life proves you are my mate" Raven finished but he was laughing inside how cheesy he sounded, why was he explaining to this girl and he was acting as a boy in love or is he in love? What's love? Raven kept asking himself all the questions that he forgot that Ziah was there.

"I died you say and you drank my blood and you are a Vampire no a vampire crown prince? Am I dreaming? I know that I was dying but the Vampire and reviving things don't seem right " she sounded so confused that Raven had a headache how will he make her understand. Then he found the person to do it, his mom queen Samantha.

"Come with me I know someone who can make you understand " he stood and grabbed her hand but he realises she only has a cloak on her body so he let go of her hand and went outside then came back with a woman who looked a bit young than her but she didn't look human " she'll get you ready and then I'll take you to someone who can explain everything well" he said to her and left. The young girl introduced herself as Ema and she was going to take care of her because she's her assistant, Ziah felt safe with her.

"Is this really a world of vampires?" Ziah asked Ema who was busy combing her silver grey hair, and Ema stopped at the question and continued combing her hair.

"Yes though not only vampires live here, we have 3 races here. Us vampires, the protectors of the vampires and the black kingdom. The protectors of the vampires have their own kingdom but only the royal family carries the power of protecting the royal vampires" she stopped talking as she felt Ziah was confused and she wanted to speak something " don't worry you can say whatever you want miss"

"Umh, are you serious? Not joking? And you're a Vampire" Ziah turned to look at Ema with curiosity and then Ema had a good idea

"I can show you but please don't be scared, okay " after Ziah nodded, Ema showed his fangs as her eyes turned deep red and then she came back to normal her blue eyes were now visible and her fangs returned inside. Ziah was shocked and was trying hard not to scream but she can't, well this is a twist. She was really in a different world with new creatures she only read in books. And to top it off, she was the mate of a crown vampire prince . Her life was full of twists and turns but she just hopped this life will be better than the old life, but if she's not in the human world and her human life had died what's she now? A Vampire? She asked herself when Ema interrupted her thoughts

"Let's go my lady, the Prince's waiting for you" Ema said to her and Ziah stood up, she was wearing a tight long creamy dress which matched her body and silver grey hair and her gold eyes were a view to die for. Even Ema was mesmerized by Ziah's beauty, opening the door at a further distance was Raven and he was shocked by Ziah wow just wow. Raven didn't know what to do, he stood like a fixed stature but Ziah walked to him.

"Prince are you okay? Can you take me to the person who can explain" Ziah said to the prince and he was stopped from dreaming . Then he tried to calm his expression and grabbed her hand and started walking

"Okay, she's our Queen her name is Samantha" he said without turning to look at her. They walked with hands intertwined and the two vampire behind them were awed at how their prince is acting sweet. Ema and Ashley looked at each other and giggled like teen girls who have seen their crushes, after some few minutes they reached upon a big door with beautiful decorations then Raven pushed it open and the first view was Queen Samantha looking at them but especially Ziah.

'Oh she's definitely good to be my daughter in law ' Queen smiled and was excited for them to reach there. Once they were now face to face, Raven was the first to speak.

"Can you explain to her about everything, am not good at that queen." Raven spoke with honesty and the queen was glad she was going to do the explaining to her future daughter in law.

"Hellow my beautiful daughter, what's your lovely name?" Queen asked with a wide and loving smile on her beautiful face.

"Am Ziah my queen, sorry I have to bow right?" She asked with a hint of curiosity and the queen couldn't stop smiling at her . "Yeah but it's okay, just let it pass today" the queen replied but Ziah didn't look pleased so she bowed instead.

"No I must show respect" Ziah said after finishing bowing and the queen patted her hair then took her hand and made her sit on a couch. Then ordered Raven to leave

"Why should I leave?"he protested with a dark face and his dark face disappeared after looking at Ziah.

"Just go, you'll ruin my explanation. You have duties to do, I'll stay with her to teach her some few things just go Raven." Samantha pouted while talking and Raven took another glance at Ziah and left with Ashley leaving Ziah at the disposal of his mother and Ema.

"Okay my girl Ziah, am that brat and annoying guy's mother. Am cheerful I just don't know where did that punk get that attitude, can you believe me even his father has a good character. Ooh I was so lonely am glad you came my dear, so now I'll explain everything to you okay" the queen talked non stop and Ziah was shocked at first but got comfortable because she was emitting a friendly, lovingly and motherly aura to her and she felt safe with her.

"Okay am ready, you can explain " Ziah talked with a smile and the queen's heart was melted by that one smile that her hand voluntary went and touched her cheek.

"Okay dear, so this is the land of Silersia. Where it has 3 empires, ours Morekvia or land of vampires. Sarsia the empire of the protectors and Urafia the dark kingdom. Well only two empires are in good terms here and that's the vampires and the protectors but the dark kingdom is the enemy of every empire. Forget about the empires and blah blah blah okay" the queen explained and stopped so Ziah can digest the few words.

"Morekvia land of vampires, that's here? And you're all vampires?" She asked with curiosity and her eyes were demanding answers.

"Yes, we are all vampires here. My husband king Elvian is the ruler and we have 3 children, Raven, princess Huma and Seth. Raven is the next in line to be king, Huma is an amazing archer and Seth is good with swords am sure you'll like them. But don't worry we won't hurt you, we're just vampires and yes we drink blood but we don't hunt innocent people and draw blood from them okay" explained Queen.

"So where do you get the blood from? Do you have humans living here?" Another question with the curious look from Ziah

"For that I need to explain to you about the protector's empire, it has the Sarsians. That land is ruled by the royal family of the protectors of vampires, they're called protectors because throughout the years and centuries they've been protecting all of the Silersia. They have the ability to sense danger and have power to cast spells, they also grow wings . But the royal Sarsian family is the one privileged to protect the royal family of vampires. One member of the Sarsian royal family is born with extra powers and those powers are only to protect the ruler of vampires, but most of the time the protector's a man. And also the Sarsians blood is like human blood so they donate their blood to us" Samantha explained again

"Why would you need protection from the Sarsians? Are you not powerful enough?" Ziah was now comfortable with asking question as she was trying to understand her new life

"Vampires are powerful but our powers seem to be not enough, though we heal fast, move fast but we can't do some things that Sarsians can do. They can cast spells which can control others mind, and they can fight the dark kingdom's magic very well. You see we hold no magic, and throughout the years it's been like that Sarsians helping vampires. Each vampire crown prince would have a protector by his side, but unfortunately this time none of the Sarsian prince have been granted with special power to be the guardian of the vampires. So Raven has no protector, he's depending on his abilities." The queen finished with a sad look

"But why is the dark kingdom an enemy and why is their no longer a protector?" Ziah shot another question

"The dark kingdom wants to rule the whole of Silersia and make everyone succumb to dark magic, their king Aston is so evil. I think he had something to do with the Sarsians not being able to give a protector, they're just wicked the people of dark kingdom " explained the queen with anger in her eyes oh how she hated the dark kingdom of only she had powers to destroy it out or Silersia and let peace prevail with Morekvia and Sarsia.

"Isn't it dangerous for Raven to wander around as he doesn't have anyone to protect him?" Ziah had a worried face while asking that and the Queen reached for her hand and squeezed it and said "I don't know why, but I feel he will be safe now that you're here. I have a good feeling because of your presence, am glad he revived you"

Ziah was astonished, why is she feeling the urge to protect Raven. Why does she feel like it's her responsibility to protect him and everybody in Silersia.
