MAY'S POINT OF VIEW

"That wine is also useless. I just remember everything worse. I do not want it anymore. Take that away from me. It has no use," she complained. Frustrated, she pulled her hair.

"Shane," I called to her but she ignored me. Instead, she laid her hands on the table and leaned his forehead on it.

"Shane." I tapped her on the shoulder. "Shane?" I peeked at her covered face from below. "Guys, she fell asleep," I informed the others.

I looked at them. Their stares were on Shane. No emotion could be seen on their faces. Would not they help me bring her home?

After a few minutes, none of them moved. They have no intention of helping me.

"I will take her home. All right. Bye." I stomped my feet loudly and faced Shane. Hopefully, they will feel I need a real gentleman now!

"Wait, let me carry her."

I turned to the one who said that. "Are you serious?" I asked Andrei.

He nodded in response. "Why? Can you lift her?"

"N-no." I slapped his arm. "How can I lift her knowing that she is heavier than me? I am not an ant, am I?"

He just chuckled. "How do I know if you are? You are small as it is."

I looked at Zy and Ben. "Is it okay for you to let him carry her?" I was referring to Andrei.

"There is no problem with me," Zy confirmed. Ben nodded in agreement. "Besides, we are a bit drunk while Andrei is in fine condition. Let him carry her," he added.

"Well, I think so too." I also nodded in agreement.

Andrei stood up and approached Shane. He slowly lifted her. It was as if he felt nothing about my friend's weight.

The people we passed through were curiously looking at us until we got out of the bar.

"Where is her car?" he asked.

"There." I pointed in the direction where Shane's white car was parked.

"Do you know how to drive?" he asked without glancing at me.

"No," I spoke out, a bit embarrassed. I had no enough time to learn such.

"Okay. We will use my car—"

"Wait, how about her car?"

"Just get it tomorrow."

I grimaced. What an excellent answer. "Huh? What if it is stolen?"

"Do not worry. This area is secured."

I sighed, relieved. "That is a relief."

He walked first before I followed. We stopped when in front of a red car. Wow.

"Open it."

I opened the car's front door. He slowly lowered Shane and sat her down. He immediately closed the door. I sat in the back while they sat side by side in the front. I smell something.

"You know her address, right?" I grinned as I said that.

"Of course, yes." He smiled as he started the engine.

He bugged me before about Shane's address so there, I gave it because he is my friend and I know that . . . never mind.
