Hey, guys. Long story short, I decided to rewrite my novel. When I tried reading it myself, I figured that things were going too fast.
It's just the MC's first day reincarnating, but he already adapted and accepted his circumstances. I feel like he should check things out first before he acknowledges things.
On another note, I think I've done a decent job of conveying what the MC is feeling and thinking, but I don't feel I've done a good job when it comes to the other characters.
For example, I believe I needed to at least give a little bit more context on why Kaede was even learning how to flirt.
I also need to edit the MC's background a bit. He's too old to even think of being in a relationship with a 16-year-old minor.
Anyway, I know I've just started, but I want the novel to be at least at the level where it's decent enough for people to read it in their spare time that they want to waste.
And the first chapters of a novel should always be good in my opinion, since it is where new readers start. If your initial chapters don't interest them, they tend to leave the book early. At least that's what I do...
Give me at least 2-3 days to rewrite all of the 5 chapters. I know it's a bit long for a tiny amount of chapters, but I still have to attend school, and I'm not skilled enough to write 5000+ words a day.
For the time being, I hope you don't remove this book from your book list since it'll not be dropped, it's only a short rewrite.
Thanks for understanding.
