Order of Chaos

At the outskirts of the Wilka town, there was a building the outsides of which had spiked shape. It was an intriguing design. The building's core was small and round, resembling a giant spiked ball colored in black.

Inside the building a middle aged woman was sitting on a stone chair with her eyes closed. She had a pure white skin and hair too. She was wearing black nun attire with no headdress. Her white hair were silky smooth reaching up to her waist. She wore no shoes and her dress covered up to her ankles. Suddenly a blurry silhouette landed near her speedily. This was another nun.

"Reporting to Elder sister, we've lost contact with Sister Mercia & Eun." The nun spoke. "Sister Carista, Zenith and Amanda have returned with severe injuries and are being tended to. Sister Anasta, Birdy and Locust are still engaged in fighting."

The woman opened her blue eyes and uttered, "Send others to rescue Mercia and Eun. Tell the rest to retreat. I will make a move personally. Let the beasts approach our Chaos Hall." Her voice was cool and filled of confidence

"Understood." The nun said and turned into a blur as she moved away rapidly.

The white haired woman walked up to the Chaos Hall's entrance and stepped out. Quickly blurred figures sprinted past her, disappearing into the wilderness. She on the other hand waited patiently. Before long, the blurred figures returned carrying some injured nuns.

"Mercia, where is Eun?" The woman asked looking at the badly injured Mercia and raised her palm towards her. Visible vibrations in air quaked around Mercia and her injuries healed rapidly. She collected her breath and replied.

"Forgive me Elder Sister. I and Eun were ambushed by multiple beasts and got separated. I know not of her status." Mercia replied.

Suddenly three more blurred figures came out into the clearing. Two beautiful nuns and one man who was fairly handsome.

"I found sister Eun." The nun leading the two called out as they approached the woman.

"I apologize for my incompetency." Eun quickly said as she bowed to her Elder Sister. "This person saved my life from a beast." She introduced Wu Shang quickly noticing that the woman was staring daggers at Wu Shang.

"Humph! Stand back, all of you. Beasts are approaching." The woman said, not even making introductions with Wu Shang. She then hovered up in air. Vibration leapt out from underneath her feet making air radiate outwards with her as center. Her black dress fluttered as she rose up higher and higher. Wu Shang was having a good time enjoying the sight from below.

"Oh, red panties. That's a surprise." Wu Shang muttered. "I thought it'd be black or white."

The elder sister almost fell down as she heard this.

"Y-you jerk!" She cried out. She had let her guard down. She had never had experienced such an issue as she was always surrounded by females who respected her. But a man naturally had a green mind. The elder sister quickly grabbed at her fluttering dress, covering her legs. Wu Shang chuckled, shaking his head. All the nuns looked at him with flushed faced.

Suddenly loud roars echoed in the forest gaining everyone's attention. Several trees fell and branches made loud brushing sounds as several beasts of varying sizes came into sight.

"I didn't get the chance to prepare my trump card skill." The elder sister winced, sneaking a glare at Wu Shang before revolving her energy through her meridians. "Prepare for battle! Mercia, Mini, take the injured back inside."

"Yes elder sister Karisa." Mini the nun who had been reporting everything to her earlier spoke and turned into a blurred figure, quickly transporting the injured nuns inside the Chaos Hall building. Meanwhile the rest of the nuns arranged themselves in a defensive formation and held out their palms aiming them towards the beasts. Up in the sky, Karisa activated her technique and strong vibrations erupted from her whole body.

Wu Shang activated his technique too and a defensive layer of yang chi enveloped him. He eyed the beasts. There were at least 30 of them of varying sizes and shapes; none smaller than an elephant.

"5 horned dog, croc-eagle, twin moon wolf…" Wu Shang muttered as he recognized these beasts. "…even a chimera and lion colt. Sadly no black hornet king." He sighed shaking his head and folded his arms, watching what the nuns were up to.

Boom! Boom! Sound waves burst out of their palms, reaching the beasts in no time and struck them heavily. The most eye-catching was Karisa's sound wave. It literally blew up a horizontal whirlwind along the wave and blew a beast several feet away. The rest of the nuns were only able to push the beasts a few steps back.

Wu Shang shook his head. This technique that the nuns were using could be very powerful at close range but it lost its effect over distance plus the size of the target was also a factor. Against humans, those sound waves would be lethal but it couldn't even scratch the beasts.

"Elder sister, I'm afraid!" A nun cried out. She was barely 16 years old and was sweating with fear. The fearsome appearances of the beasts were very intimidating.

"Do not fear. We can easily beat these beasts away!" Karisa shouted, trying to comfort the nuns. The next moment, a Chimera beast reached her and grabbed her in its clutches, flying away with her.

"Elder sister!"

"Sister Karisa!"

"Big sis!"

The nuns cried out, each one at their wits' ends.

Swoosh! Wu Shang sprinted past them speedily charging in the direction of the Chimera and with a whooshing sound, he threw his staff into the sky.

"Shattering moon!" Wu Shang exclaimed as the staff swirled upwards and hit one of the chimera's legs with a loud explosion as all the energy stored inside it burst out blowing up its leg.

With a loud cry, the chimera let go of Karisa.

Boom! Karisa turned and attacked at close range, letting out a burst of chaotic vibrations. The Chimera blew into bits and fell down in chunks of meat and bones. Karisa looked down at Wu Shang as Wu Shang looked up. Their eyes met momentarily. Karisa nodded before flying towards the other beasts that had reached near the frantic nuns.

Boom! Boom! Numerous explosions occurred as the beasts and nuns exchanged several blows.

"Do not fear. Stay together. Keep attacking!" Karisa encouraged the nuns as she flew over to them, taking the lead and attacking from above. However the beasts all had numerous powers. Some threw acid jets, some threw web-like solvents and some exhaled poisonous gas. Nuns' technique couldn't thwart all of them. Not to mention that the beasts themselves were very strong and large in built. They were already near the chaos hall's entrance, surrounding the nuns in an arc.

"Retreat!" Wu Shang shouted as he pummeled a beast to unconsciousness and hurried over. "There's poison in the air. You'll all die." He shouted.

"God Chaos always protects us!" Karisa shouted at this. "Do not fear! Fight with all your might!"

"Have you lost your damned mind?!" Wu Shang shouted from below. "You'll get them all killed!"

"Don't tell me what to do!" Karisa shouted from above. "We are protected by the God."

"Oh is that so?" Wu Shang snarled angrily. "Then why is your face turning blue?"

"..." All the nuns stared silently at their elder sister whose pure white complexion had become blue and was getting darker by the second.

Karisa' vision suddenly blurred and she fell downwards.

Swoosh! Wu Shang quickly leapt towards her and caught her agilely.

"Retreat! Get inside the building. Close the gate!" Wu Shang shouted taking lead. No one refuted him.

"Elder sister! Please wake up!" Eun shouted as all the nuns gathered around Karisa who had been laid on a table by Wu Shang.

"She has been poisoned." Wu Shang said while checking Karisa's nerves. "I need time to prepare an antidote. For now I can only freeze her body temporarily to stop the poison from spreading further."

"Freeze?"

"Antidote?"

"Are you a doctor?"

The nuns asked almost at the same time.

"Yes I am."

Boom! The strong gate caved in as a beast struck it from outside. The building too began to shake as all the beasts were assaulting it.

"There is no time!" Wu Shang gritted his teeth and quickly started undressing Karisa.

"What are you doing!"

"How dare you!"

"Pervert!"

Boom! Wu Shang was immediately attacked by words and shockwaves as the nuns hollered at him.

"Stop this! You're going to injure your elder sister!" Wu Shang said as he literally shielded Karisa's body by leaning over her.

At once the nuns all fell silent witnessing this.

"You may punish me afterwards. But if I don't act right away, she'll die within a few minutes!" Wu Shang exclaimed before resuming to undress Karisa. He had no time so he just ripped off her dress, revealing her beautiful body. Her fair white skin had turned bluish at several spots. Underneath she was wearing red undergarments.

All the nuns blushed as next up Wu Shang's hands started roaming on Karisa's body.

"Aren't you just groping her!?" Mini shouted angrily.

"Sister Mini, I trust him." Eun said at this point. "He saved my life earlier and even protected elder sister three times if you remember."

"Hmph!" Mini snorted.

Boom! The gate creaked under the powerful assault. It couldn't take any more attacks!

"Almost done!" Wu Shang exclaimed as he jabbed and stimulated certain pressure points on Karisa's body. He was a genuine doctor and knew of the energy flow and poison flow when infected. He managed to slow down the poison and then stimulated Karisa's dantian from outside and also by inserting several yin pills in her mouth which quickly melted and flowed into her dantian, resulting in a temporary freezing of her dantian under Wu Shang's manipulation. No more energy and poison flowed in her meridians. Karisa had technically been frozen.

Boom! The gate broke open flew inside.

Bam! Wu Shang was already midair and had struck it back with his staff.

Boom! The gate collided with a beast pushing it out, opening a path for Wu Shang.

"Protect her! I'll deal with these beasts!" Wu Shang shouted and bravely stormed out.

Loud screeches and roars echoed as several beasts attacked Wu Shang. His staff remained a blur as he swung it constantly, fighting the beasts. His energy was radiating powerfully. Wu Shang was a dark doctor. Despite his profession, he had been through several fights against bandits, law enforcers, beasts and whatnot. Over the years, he had become very good at combat. Plus his weapon and the technique gave him versatility. The staff struck the beasts and loud chi explosions occurred.

Psssshhh! A thick jet of acid brushed past Wu Shang, burning his left arm intensely while a beast managed to pierce his calf with a venomous horn, flinging him away.

"Mr. Wu Shang!" Eun exclaimed as she witnessed this. The scenes outside were quite visible to all the nuns from the large opening of the broken entrance.

Swoosh! Eun turned into a blur and rushed out.

"Sister Eun!" Mercia rushed out behind her.

Cree!!! A flying lizard attacked them from above.

"Kyaah!" Eun screamed in terror at this sudden ambush. Mercia quickly attacked with her technique and managed to injure the lizard which made it even angrier.

Flapping its wings furiously, it flew at Mercia, opening its mouth and shooting out a spear-sharp long tongue, threatening to stab the nun.

Boom! A staff hit the lizard squarely on the jaw and flung it away.

"Get back inside!" Wu Shang shouted as he summoned his staff back into his hand and confronted another octopus like beast behind him. The girls watched at Wu Shang's valiant figure while retreating as he speedily moved between the large beasts and fought them bravely.

The battle continued for half an hour before the remaining beasts ran away. Wu Shang had killed more than a dozen of them. However he himself had been gravely injured. He had boils all over his body. Blood was dripping down his legs, dyeing the ground red. He looked horrific but at the same time he seemed like a hero to the nuns as he paid no heed to his injuries and instead approached the frozen Karisa first.

"Mr. Wu Shang you're badly injured. Please rest here. We'll fetch you some bandages!" Eun said as she looked at him with teary eyes.

"No need." Wu Shang shook his head while wiping the blood off his hands. "I'll be fine. Treating this lady comes first."

Saying so, he quickly fished out a small furnace and various herbs and started brewing an antidote in a flask. While it brewed, he swallowed some healing pills and his body started returning to normal. Finally the antidote was ready and he quickly fed it to Karisa.

The blue shade on her skin quickly faded and her skin turned white again. Her dantian was still frozen so Wu Shang unlocked her meridians and fed her some yang pills. Slowly, Karisa opened her beautiful blue eyes, blinking a few times as she got up as though returning from deep slumber.

"How are you feeling?" Wu Shang asked. He was still covered in dried up blood. At once, Karisa froze as her memory flashed quickly.

"The beasts! My sisters!" She exclaimed getting up abruptly.

"We're all safe, elder sister." Mini said as she approached Karisa, calming her down.

"Mr. Wu Shang beat the beasts and chased them away." Mercia spoke.

"He also saved you from the poison and protected us." Eun added.

"..." Karisa stared at Wu Shang for a long moment before sighing.

"Thank you, Mr. Wu Shang." She said. "I always thought that men were mere perverted beasts who only like to take advantage of women and ruin their lives but I've never met a man like you before. So righteous and brave…" She looked down shaking her head at her presumptions and noticed her own ripped clothes. Her body was almost bare with only some shreds of black dress hanging on her body. Boom!! A deafening explosion resounded inside the Chaos hall.

Wu Shang opened his eyes and found himself in a spacious room. There was a nun sitting beside his bed who quickly approached him.

"You're awake Mr. Wu Shang." Eun said happily.

"Miss Eun." Wu Shang smiled. "What happened to me?" He tried to recall.

"Oh, you were…knocked out by elder sister." Eun said palpitating. "Please don't be upset. She didn't do a right thing but she was very unsettled with how so many things occurred and she had never… well, been seen by a man without clothes. The same goes for us but elder sister has quite a…"

"Hahaha!" Wu Shang suddenly broke into laughter. He found Karisa very cute. Eun was no different. He shook his head chuckling. "Oh it's ok. I was in the wrong. I hope she is doing better though."

Soon Wu Shang was sitting in the dining hall. There were 17 nuns in the chaos hall including Elder sister Karisa. She and Wu Shang were sitting on the farthest opposite sides. Despite Karisa' frowning uptight stance, she had actually put in a lot of effort to prepare this meal to treat their benefactor Wu Shang.

"Let's pray to God Chaos." Karisa began a prayer all the nuns followed with cupped hands. Wu Shang fell awkward. He didn't know any prayers and was a non-believer. But he too cupped his hands to supposedly join them in the prayer. Karisa peeked at him with one eye at once before shutting it close and finishing the prayer.

The meal was sumptuous. Wu Shan ate by the mouthfuls without restraint. So did the nuns. In between, he conversed with the nuns and cracked many jokes. He was a witty but also jovial man. The girls liked him and soon there was laughter echoing in the hall. Karisa remained silent and ate graciously.

Mini found it odd that the usually strict elder sister was letting everyone run their mouths wild and cackle and eat ungracefully.

"Ugh I can't eat anymore." Eun groaned rubbing her belly. Everyone else was in the same state. Even Mini had sneakily eaten a lot of yummies.

Only Wu Shang was sitting straight with a smile on his face. It was as though he had already digested all the food and was full of energy.

Soon the nuns cleaned up and retired to their beds. Wu Shang followed Karisa to the roof of the Chaos hall. All around them was wilderness in the shades of dark green and black. Stars were twinkling in the sky. Moonlight shone on Karisa's white body. Her white hair seemed to be glowing in the moonlight.

"For the last five centuries, Order of Chaos has fought against the beasts in this world to protect humanity." Karisa said. "People call us by many titles. Spiritualists, warriors, nuns, lunatics, cult, beast hunters, virgin valkyries and whatnot."

Wu shang listened to her silently.

"But we are just girls who wish to ensure the safety of humanity. Even though we're all victims of the ways of men and society; we strive to best them through benevolence and self sacrifice by warding off these beasts of inhuman strength. For centuries we have fought but never seek help of men." Karisa turned to look at Wu Shang.

"My bad…" Wu Shang uttered with an awkward smile. Karisa stared at him for a long while.

"Why are you so different than other men? What makes you different? Are you blessed by some God?" She asked curiously.

"I'm just another man, my lady." Wu Shang answered simply. "For so many presumptions about men, how many of them have you known in your life? There is both good and evil in the world. It doesn't depend on gender."

"..." Karisa stared at him for a long while silently before sighing. "You're perhaps correct." She said looking away towards the moon. The moonlight illuminated her beautiful face. "The beasts are gaining sentience. There are rumors of emperor level beasts appearing in the world. It is time for the Order of Chaos to gain more strength and curb these beasts. Tell me wandering doctor…" She turned to look at Wu Shang "…would you like to join us?"

"And become a nun?" Wu Shang jested.

"Pffft!" Karisa almost broke into laughter but held it back. "No, but you could be…a priest?"

"I don't worship Chaos." Wu Shang cleared.

"How about Elder Brother title?" Karisa asked.

"Mmm…not a chance. I don't want to be your brother." Wu Shang said.

"Well…"

"Titles are tiles; what would you offer me if I joined you in your cause?" Wu Shang asked the heart of the matter.

"Hmm…What do you want? We have cultivation resources." Karisa offered.

"I have those too. I make big bucks due to my profession." Wu Shang said.

"We have treasures in our treasuries." Karisa offered.

"All the treasure in the world cannot compare to women's beauty." Wu Shang replied.

"..." Karisa was tongue tied. "Then what would you want in exchange of joining us?" She pursed her lips as she considered the only remaining valuable she could offer. Wu Shang had rich battle experience and was even at a higher realm than hers. Karisa wanted to reel him in. Plus…he was interesting!

"Well, I've been looking for black hornet king sting and mermaid scales for a certain special medicine that I wish to concoct." Wu Shang answered.

"..." Karisa felt awkward as Wu Shang's request was entirely different than what she was expecting. "I see…" She uttered. "Well there are no black hornet king beast in this state but there are rumored to be some in Syava State far off north. We have an Order of Chaos division there. You could travel there and seek their aid in capturing it if you join the Order."

"I'm strong enough take down that beast if I can find it. Since it is in Syava, I just need to travel there and find it." Wu Shang said. "Please don't think that I am rude it's just that I am used to working alone. Plus I need to… return somewhere after obtaining all the remaining ingredients." Wu Shang's heartbeat fastened as he thought of Xiao.

"I see…" Karisa looked down sadly. Her technique revolved around vibrations and thus she had keen ears. She figured much from the escalated heartbeat of Wu Shang.

"Joining the Order of Chaos is not something necessary for me. Unless there was some great benefit that could…" Wu Shang's words got stuck in his mouth and his eyes widened as he saw Karisa loosening her dress and letting it fall down in a heap around her feet.
