IT IS TIME

Both the Chi and Qi nation army lined up together with Bogsu, Song Yuan, Lin Wei, Han Jiwoo and Han Jisung leading at the front.

While Song Yuan, Lin Wei, Han jiwoo and Han Jisung rode horses, Bogsu sat down on a grumpy looking Alice as they prepared to march to the battlefield.

Staying on the same roll with Song Yuan, Han jiwoo would occasionally cast glances at him before looking away with a blush on her cheeks while Han Jisung glared at Song Yuan for some reason, he suddenly hated the guy for taking Bogsu and not even owning up to it.

The strong urge to punch him in his face was there but he wondered why he felt so overprotective of Bogsu when he hardly feels the same for his own son, well that would have to wait as the upcoming battle was just a march away, Han Jisung thought before retracting his gaze from Song Yuan with great difficulty.

Soon a monkey appeared and rushed up to Song Yuan and climbed up the horse and unto Song Yuan before finally staying on his shoulders.

"General Yuan are you not going to get rid of that animal." Li Yehan said with scorn on her face as she looked at the monkey with irritation.

"Should I get rid of my own pet?" Song Yuan answered calmly not bothering to look at Li Yehan but she could feel the coldness that emitted from him.

Li Yehan clenched her fists secretly by her side and she gritted her teeth, she must win prestige during this war so that she can at least gain a footing with Song Yuan and be worthy of him.

Song Yuan raised his hands high up in the air so that the soldiers at the back would be able to see before giving a go sign.

As the soldiers started marching, Song Yuan purposefully stayed back wanting to talk to Bogsu.

"We are going to pass a different route from the soldiers." Song Yuan announced causing Bogsu who was originally not interested to throw a glance at him asking him to explain further.

Song Yuan lowered his voice as he spoke to Bogsu explaining the situation to her.

While the two discussed on the plan together, Babo came down from Song Yuan's neck and landed on Alice body, causing her to turn baring her fangs at him with warning, while Babo just shrugged and climbed on top of Bogsu's leg and went towards Alice head bending over to look at one of her eyes.

Alice eyes followed the Monkey's hand as it waved it continuously at her front.

Babo then patted her head as if reassuring and pet her at the same time making Alice release a annoyed roar.

"Babo, come here now." Song Yuan called, Babo stuck out his tongue to Alice and prepared to go meet Song Yuan when he was picked up by his neck causing him to pout.

"You got some guts, staying on top of Alice then bullying her, it seems you forgot her master on her back." Bogsu said with an evil smirk on her face as she stared at Babo like he was something delicious.

"Seems the name Babo really suits him." Bogsu sneered throwing Babo on Song Yuan.

"I have heard your plan and I'm quite surprised you were able to notice something that was hidden quite well General Yuan, who knows maybe now I might start to have a bit of respect for you." Bogsu said chuckling at the last part because she found it funny.

"Don't push me general or you would get burned by the fire you are playing with." Song Yuan said coldly.

"Can you even last long with me?" Bogsu said with a light chuckle as she implied another thing making Babo laugh along with her pointing his finger at Song Yuan and earning a glare from him.

"Just stick to the plan and don't do otherwise." Song Yuan snapped clearly not understanding what she implied by what she said.

"But wait, what about Han Jisung and Lin Wei would they not wonder where we are if we are absent." Bogsu questioned after a long ride of silence as they had started moving to the designated area they had planned to go.

"They would probably think we are behind the soldiers and by the time they really realize that we are gone we should be done with the whole plan, I picked you for this instead of your master, don't fail me at all." Song Yuan said sternly as he gave Bogsu a hard look.

"Aish, don't look at me like that, you might make me do something in this open space, besides I think you are the only person that can match my martial arts skills, for now." Bogsu said shrugging before looking forward feeling very uncomfortable with Song Yuan gaze.

In other to calm herself, Bogsu started humming the song her mother usually sang for her as a little child.

Remembering her mother, Bogsu's heart softened, the only reason why Bogsu chose to help out in this war when she could have backed out was that judging from Han Jisung behaviour he wasn't aware of the murder plot and neither was he part of it, the latter actually seems to detest Song Minhyun with his heart and is only with her for Han Jiwoo.

Bogsu was still thinking who would have been able to command such manpower, initially, Bogsu thought it was Song Minhyun that would do such a thing since she had a motive but later on after knowing her, Song Minhyun is too stupid to lead a troupe and kill the Empress without leaving a single trace of the murder behind, except maybe she had someone backing her up and helped a clean the trace but who could it be and what could have the Empress done to provoke such a powerful person as such.

"Snap out of your thoughts, don't tell me you are having a cold feet already." Song Yuan sneered at Bogsu but she just shrugged in response not wanting to respond as it might lead to a dragging argument again.

"We arrived already." Song Yuan announced seeing he that the girl did not respond to him.

Bogsu looked forward to see a valley below, as they stood at the hill overlooking it.

"It is time." Song Yuan announced ridding down with Bogsu following behind as she stared at the back profile of the handsome man watching his flowing hair.
