Monster nest

Flight is such an exciting experience as Reed enjoys the flight he remembers the times he flew with his older sister. Such memories were what kept him from giving in in the past. Reed looks around at the Wings of Knights. Each wing has 50 paws, and each paw has 6 claws. Each claw has 25 knights in all. The knights are split into three groups the Qi cultivators, the magic cultivators, and the dual cultivators. There are ten Qi and ten magic cultivators and five dual cultivators. Each type has a lieutenant that commands the type, and there is a commander that commands them, then it's the general of each wing. Each claw has an alchemist with them that work as combat healers. Each alchemist that is brought has indepth knowledge on both human and dragon anatomy and also has knowledge on potion and bandage uses.

As they head north, the claws start to break away, going in different directions as Crystal's wing is in charge of the northern and eastern areas. Reed looks at the map he brought it looks like they are headed to the northern mountains, so they may be fighting flying monsters. As they move, Reed does another check on his supplies and is satisfied with his preparations.

Crystal spots the first nest. There are around 100 monsters in the nest, so she signals their kitting group to bring a few out, and after that, the first battle began it didn't take long to kill the 50 monsters that were dragged out as these people were elites in fact only the Qi cultivators and their dragons were needed to deal with them the others were on standby. However, the fight wasn't over yet as they all headed into the nest. Crystal was the only one who didn't participate this time because she was protecting Reed. However, the battle was even shorter as the mages used formation magic to weaken the monsters as the Qi and Dual cultivators slaughtered them.

After the battle was the clean-up as Reed did a quick check on everyone, then went to see what the nest had to offer. The monster corpses are put into the space rings, but the nest is made of resources that one can't find in the wild. However, that wasn't the greatest haul. There were over 500 thousand dragon eggs normally from a monster nest you will maybe get 1 egg from back home, but here, a full 500 thousand Reed thought about it and decided this is normal I mean was this place ever attacked by humans or other intelligent life if this planet hasn't had a force attack and take the eggs they would just pile up. After that, Reed asked Crystal if he could take a few. Crystal looked at him, then contacted all the paws, and the bulk of them reported that they had the same number of eggs she didn't even think about it she directly ordered that all those participating in the attacks to be allowed to take 10 eggs from each nest as a reward when those orders were relayed there was a cheer from everyone.

Reed watched this and then let the others get theirs first as he waited. He remembered that there were tiers in the eggs and the higher the tier, the stronger the dragon. After everyone got theirs, he went in and looked, and just like he was told in his last life, some of the eggs gave off a more powerful glow as well as had symbols however oddly enough they became smaller Reed thought even though this was a rank 3 world there should be a high tier egg so he started looking around and what he found in the middle of a bunch of eggs were some that gave off a strong glow and were the size of a small pebble there were exactly 10 in total so he grabbed them and went to tell Crystal he was done.

After they took everything, they went to 2 more nests and cleaned them out. They surmised that the first nest was relatively new as the 3rd nest had over 5 billion eggs, and Reed found a few eggs that were almost as small as dirt as well as one egg that gave off a platinum glow rather than a silver one or a gold one. Just something out their the platinum one was relatively large, almost as big as Reed himself he knows that the stronger the glow, the stronger the egg but for the ones that had silver or a golden were stronger as they got smaller however the platinum one was large and you couldn't even look straight at it as you will go blind from the light.

After the 3rd nest, they went to a grassy area to have lunch as it was about noon. Reed did a routine check-up on everyone. There were a few wounds mostly on the dragons, but nothing that would stop them from continuing after lunch.

But in the middle of lunch, there was a massive roar from all around Reed was lucky enough to be near Lancelot when the monsters attacked from all directions as he jumped on Lancelots back and held on tight the resulting battle was long and brutal they were taken by surprise the lookouts didn't even have time to warn them before the monsters were on them the monsters even came from underground but luckily no flying monsters were attacking after 2 hours of hard fighting the monsters were all killed however the number of wounded was massive and there were 5 heavily wounded people as well as 8 dragons heavily wounded but thankfully no dead yet. Reed, however, had a lot of work on his hands. Crystal, however, was mysteriously absent from the field, and Reed was too busy to care at this point as he was too busy stabilizing those that were heavily wounded thank the dragon God there were some that could help with healing magic but it's only enough to stabilize them.

When all the work was done, Reed finally noticed that Crystal was missing, but before he could ask anyone where she may have gone, he saw her coming from the woods with a face that could murder she looked so pissed Reed was slightly afraid. What would cause her to be so angry she would look like murder would be a nice diversion at this point in time.
