"WHAT....!" alarmed Paul, as a banging sound began to sound again, but this time it wasn't from the door and was coming from the closed door next to the chair Paul had fallen asleep in.

"Well I didn't hear anything....better stay quiet for now before I go" decided to ignore the sound of Paul, as he planned to stretch out and go back to sleep peacefully in the safe place Paul, as he surely won't be able to later.

Again the knocking on the door began to sound when Paul this time began to hear the screams of a girl calling for help.

"Somebody!"

Paul now more convinced moved closer to the door, while deciding to remove some things that prevented the view to the other side, while leaving the other things that blocked the door, after all, no one knows what can happen if you make a mistake when you open the door in a hurry to hear the voice of a girl, who for sure was not of their group because none of them were women.

Paul walked over to the grate that was in the doorway and there he saw, the apparent girl who was screaming now sitting on the floor, traces of malnutrition showing from possibly not eating for several weeks.

The girl was lying on the ground, while bottles of water lay stacked on her sides.

"Please help me "you could tell she was desperate, as she began to call out to him desperately once she saw him see her on the other side of the door, something that put Paul in a moral dilemma.

On the one hand, he could let her die since apparently, the woman was one of the scientists who were experimenting on people and the robe she was wearing was the proof for that, but on the other hand, she was a human being like him, so he could not be similar to her, playing with another person's life, it might sound a bit hypocritical since Paul had killed several of those creatures, who were once human and it was not known if they could be human again, but it was to survive so it was okay at least for the moment.

*Sigh*

"I'm going to regret this," Paul said to himself, as he began to remove the things blocking the door, it was apparent that when they escaped those in there had locked it by accident possibly.

"Well now you're free," said Paul, as he started to open the metal door, which was heavy and was already making him regret the idea of overexerting himself, while he barely has the strength to continue with his life, due to the lack of food in days.

The girl stood up, when she saw the door open very slowly and there she saw her savior a fit blond man, who was thinner than he should be, while the lack of food was taking its toll on the athletic body and cute face that once must have attracted several girls.

"What do you see me, do you like me or something gorgeous," Paul said, when he got a better look at the woman, she looked very thin and down to her bones.

The once beautiful girl's face was now pale and thin with sunken eyes and black bags, showing that she had not slept in quite some time.

"Thank you for getting me out of there, I was trapped for over a month inside that place when there was a glitch and the experiments came out and started eating all the people...I think we deserve it for continuing to create that on the orders of others" the woman looked distraught as she seemed to remember the death of the other scientists.

"Do you know how all this was caused? "Paul asked, as he sat back in the chair again, his injuries still taking their toll, now more so because his muscles had grown cold and the muscle pain also attacked him with more force.

"We know that a person got into the facility and caused all that, by the security cameras the only thing that was seen as the long white hair that ran with the wind, before each camera exploded by a gunshot, "said the scientist.

"How did you get in such a situation?" said Paul, as he watched the girl stretch to the floor, losing all the strength in her body.

Paul was looking paler with every hour that passed sitting in the chair, apparently, he was not going to get out of the Spencer mansion alive, the hunger was attacking him with force now more than ever, after the loss of blood he suffered from the creature that almost ended his life.

"how about you help me and I'll help you," said the scientist as she could tell she was in an energy slump.

"What help....no me you see I'm perfectly fine? "Said paul.

"Please don't play rough with me, help me get to the medical room and I'll give you a blood transfusion there, even if I don't look like one I'm a good doctor," replied the girl.

"What do you get in return? " Paul asked suspiciously.

"As far as I can see, you don't seem to be umbrella's bodyguard, just for that reason I propose this, umbrella abandoned us after getting what he wanted and left us here doing what they wanted like puppets, while we died one by one and my companions abandoned me so seeing that you have problems with umbrella I ask that you take me to the infirmary of the subway stage of the mansion and I will give you half all the food that is there as long as you leave some food for me."

"How did you know I have problems with the umbrella? "Paul asked in surprise, he was actually very surprised with the girl's deduction.

"I'm a psychologist and I can see those facial changes on your face whenever you see me, so either you have a phobia of women or you hate me because I'm an umbrella scientist," the girl replied.

"Well come on, I'll help you, but the problem we have is that there's a red creature, that won't die with any submachine gun."

"Yes you're right and what are those creatures called that have long tongues and the other normal ones? "Paul.

*Sigh*

"It sounds like I'm talking to a child.... well it's going to take a while, well we'd better use those plants to treat you or you'll die "Madison
