Richard was still standing in front of the door with the upside down creature "Dare I quietly enter the door?" He was optimistic for having the idea but better put it aside, he had only one life and he preferred to take care of it, not committing suicidal acts.
"" Well, I better get going" Richard said to himself in his mind before turning around to walk without making as little noise as possible "This mansion sucks" Richard pouted as he felt the putrid smell filling the area he was in and heard the sounds of rats scurrying about.
"I'll even get with this scientist" Richard complained as he walked down the corridor that smelled rotten. If only he had better vision he would have noticed that the meeting room was much further back as he turned in the opposite direction.
++++++++
On the other hand with Alan, he was in the kitchen, apparently everything had been emptied by the other members of the group and no food ration could be found "We were slow and unlucky not to have the flashlights with us" complained Alan, while checking drawer by drawer to lose hope when he found nothing in the drawers scattered in the kitchen.
"What is this? Alan wondered as he found a pot of grease, apparently there were many more in a compartment in the kitchen and apparently those who had ransacked the entire kitchen didn't find anything useful in that grease, which was kind of stupid of them.
For now they had a way to light up, which while it could bring a lot of trouble when encountering one of those upside-down creatures."Wow, I'm using Richard's terrible names "Alan realized.
"" Well, now we have a way to solve the light problem "Alan was happy as at that moment the only thing he was missing was a lighter which he hoped Paul, who was the smoker of the three, would have, "what waiting for a baby from your wife can bring in a man "Alan spoke to himself.
The only thing he found after the 6 large cans of fat, was a potato bag, which was useful to carry everything, so without further ado Alan was about to leave, but he heard several footsteps behind the door and apparently it was another group and he did not want to know what they would do with him if they did not find food, because if they were so calm with almost sacrificing Paul to drink the water from the pipes to see if it was contaminated and they were very close, it was sure that it would be very dangerous if he approached people who were possibly desperate.
The footsteps were approaching the kitchen...Opposite side of the door.
"Come in... we need to see if there is food "said the man who appeared to be the leader.
"But sir, if there are any more of those creatures" complained one of the three who wanted to get in to who appeared to be the leader.
"" Do you want us to feed you one of those creatures if you're not going to see it?"" "said the leader.
Alan heard the loudest and most authoritative voice of the group and recognized him "So Berel is the one who is the first to show his true colors"Alan said to himself.
Alan recognized him immediately, not because they were close but because he knew Berel's true nature, someone who was very cruel when teaching the younger ones, while he initially wanted to place him in his group, Alan didn't want to have someone who could stab his back and while he was despicable he threw it to the two people who were random and they turned out to be two boys who were nothing more than bullied as far as Alan could hear.
Tightening his grip on his submachine gun, Alan moved further behind the refrigerator, where he was hiding, as the door opened.
"Is anyone here?"" Ask the young man who poked his head around the side of the door, a very stupid thing to do but you couldn't expect more from a young man in fear.
* Shouting
The scream of the frightened young man was heard while the sound of the door echoing could also be heard, apparently the young man had fallen or was pushed by someone.
"Stop wasting time and search" spoke Berel.
The now calmer young people searched everywhere, although they didn't have to look for anything, as everything was in disarray from Alan's search, who had just realized that someone had tidied everything up possibly to give the others hope.
"Wait! ..... Didn't I order 2 adults and 1 youth since we were 8 adults and 4 youthss?"
"Ah wait... ..There he is, I had forgotten, that he had joined Berel... Well I am not to blame because the groups were formed randomly "there stood Alan, Alan, Alan, Alan, Alan, Alan, Alan saw the brains of the group, Alfred who although in the village was treated very well, was an antisocial who was dedicated to the maintenance of weapons and forming the plans for the raids.
Everything was empty, so Berel's group had not found anything, although it was to be expected because Alan had taken what little there was, which made Berel furious "Well, let's go!" Berel spoke angrily.
The duo of young and old at a trembling pace followed Berel. After they saw him furious, they looked like wounded animals when they went without the slightest desire to follow Berel.
"Well I'm saved" he let out the sigh he didn't even know Alan had, as he walked out with the sack of fat pots.
"Wait!...Alan's eyes, when he finally felt calmer, which he thought could be a way to escape from that place.
Haci that placing the refrigerator in place to prevent anyone from seeing the hatch, Alan had decided to see if it was really an exit before meeting the others in the group, as he feared they would do something stupid when they found out.
Once Alan had hidden the hatch, he decided to leave the kitchen, to later meet Richard and Paul, to tell them that he had found water and the containers to heat the water, which were hung perfectly tidy, since apparently they were of no more importance than the food for the others, who surely did not think to cook the food, which in itself was wise on everyone's part, because a test should be done to see if the water was contaminating.
At a slow pace Alan walked out of the kitchen, watching for anyone from Berel's group or any other danger which might have been attracted by the noises from Berel's group.
But luckily there was no one, so she let out the sigh she didn't know she had and went out to look for Richard and Paul.
