Chapter 06 : detected..

Chris finally realized.

But he was confused, when he could see clearly, he realized that he was currently in a medical room.

As soon as he looked around, he realized that the IV tube was still attached to his right hand. He could even feel that something was stuck to his forehead.

Slowly, he tried to remember what happened to him. Unfortunately, the memory seemed faded because it was blocked by fog and he couldn't reach it.

For some reason he felt a buzzing sound that made his vision blurry.

Not long after, he suddenly heard the sound of the door opening.

And..

"You ok?"

When Chris started to calm down again and his vision started to return to normal..

"Arthur.. Howard?"

He didn't expect that it would be Arthur Howard who came to visit him. He could see that Arthur still had a bandage covering the wound on his head.

Once the situation had begun to calm down, Arthur put down his bag and began to sit down.

"This is the first time we have met. Nice to meet you, Mr. Chris Redfield. My name is Arthur Howard. 27 years old. I didn't expect you to remember my name. I have heard a lot about you from my uncle. And also about the incident on the cruise ship. Everything."

Chris suddenly stopped Arthur's words even though that made him force himself to get up.

"Stop it, kid! You don't need to be like that. Also, I prefer it if you call me Chris."

Hearing that, Arthur obeyed Chris' words and sat back down.

Until...

"I'm glad you're okay, Arthur. Moreover, I have also kept my promise to your uncle. Apart from that, I heard from my team that you were able to survive unexpected dangers while you were there. Until you were determined to break through everything, so they can find you. You are a good and brave boy."

"No, Chris. I'm not brave yet."

For some reason, Arthur said that when he was almost crying.

"By the way, Arthur. Why am I in this place? Did something happen to me?"

Suddenly Arthur was surprised, he didn't expect that Chris didn't remember that.

"You don't remember? Well, that's normal. Calm yourself first, and I'll explain the situation you're currently facing."

For some reason, what Arthur said reminded him of Dominic before. He began to calm down as if he wanted to let Arthur explain to him.

Hearing that, Chris looked confused.

Chris was silent and tried to remember. But unfortunately, he felt the buzzing again, which made Arthur worried. After the situation returned to calm, Arthur then continued his conversation.

"I heard that the medical staff who treated you looked defeated. But at least they did their best."

Luckily, you can survive because your body hasn't fully recovered, even though you can hear. They found an intermediary through your phone, but they found out that a modified call appeared on your phone."

Arthur let Chris read the results of the examination.

"It's best if you rest. I also have to go back to visit my uncle before going back to rest at home. So, I'm going to say goodbye!"

As he was about to leave, he suddenly stopped because he remembered something...

"Oh yes. I heard from the nurse that there is a member of the BSAA who comes every hour to check on your condition. He did that for 2 days. But, I'm sure you already know who it is. I mean that. See you later, Chris."

As soon as Arthur left the room, he was immediately greeted by Laura.

"Mr. Arthur. It's time to go home!"

Even though he came to the BSAA medical facility alone, he didn't expect Laura to come to pick him up. He felt relieved because he had said thank you to Chris. But on the other hand, he felt annoyed because he couldn't help Chris.

While he was looking at the results of the examination, he felt that the attack via that frequency seemed familiar to him.
