The temple in the mountain

Wendy's POV

Currently we were riding in an open top carriage. Smiling I breath in the air. Its fresh and crisp and clean. It reminded me of the air that surrounded Grandeeney. I felt a pang of pain in my chest and looked over to Carla. Carla seemed to be enjoying herself chatting with the other exceeds. Sting and Rogue seems to be happy that Yukino was patting their backs as they bent over buckets with motion sickness. Andy and Beck seemed to be happy to quietly converse with each other. I inwardly squealed as I watched Laxus and Lucy. Laxus was doubled over and leaning heavily on lucy. I could see her face was verry verry paila d she also felt motion sick but she had the best control over it, maybe because the dragon soul wasn't directly integrated into her body like the rest of them. Lucy rubbed slow circles on Laxus's back and held a cold rag over the back of Hai's. The small dragon in human form looked miserable. Just then we rounded a corner of a large cliff and I lost my breath. A huge temple was carved into the side of a mountain. The temple was so big that it actually took up the whole entire side of the mountain from top to bottom. It was literally carved out of the mountain. At the top I could see snow and at the bottom there was a vast stretches of rice farms. The air was amazing and I felt my magic rising. Reaching the temple gates everyone disembarked and I watched as the other dragon slayers emptied there guts one more time and then kissing the ground. Lucy bowed to the guard and said,

"I must apologize, They all have severe motion sickness on man made vehicles." The guard nodded na dsaid,

"Yeah, I can smell and see that." Lucy gave him a bright smile and said,

"Thank you very much for dealing with us." Lucy was sooo cool. She was my idle, besides being ladylike and polite she was also incredibly strong and determined. She had a motherly feel to her, like she cared for each and every creature she came across. But she was strong enough to have the determination to defeat her enemies. Smiling I was practically hopping from foot to foot as Carla came up to me and said,

"Wendy, remember your manners." I looked at her and said,

"I know but i'm just so excited." before I could continue a voice spoke up and said,

"Welcome foreign guests. " A monk in orange robes aprocked us, he was bald and had prayer beads in his hands. I could feel the magic of the air surrounding him. Smiling I couldn't help myself and stepped forward and said,

"H-hello, my name is Wendy and and im a sky dragon slayer." He blinked and said,

"Your the one the king told us to treat with extra care." I blushed and said

"N-No need too. Please treat me like anyone else. I'm just really happy to be here, I haven't tasted air like this in many years. It brings back good memories." The monk smiled and said,

"I can feel the air spirits are strong round you child." Smiling I said,

"Thank you for the compliment, the sky magic is strong around you too, it flows as gently as a breeze from your body." To normal people these complements might sound weird but to anyone who uses the sky was there magic would take this as a great complement. Bowing slightly to me I watched as a few more Monks appeared. The gates opened and everyone walked in. Lucy was talking quietly to one of the monks but I stayed near the monk i'd initially met.

"Dear monk what may I call you?" The monk smiled na dsaid,

"Mathus." Smiling I said,

"Mathus This place is amazing, this whole country is. It is so different from the outside world." EH blinked and asked,

"Tell me how it is different?" Thinking for a moment I said,

"In Fiore, the kingdom I confirm everything is determined based on one's own personal strength and ambitions. There are alot of huge conflicts and no one is really spared from it. But it is a good kingdome, people are happy even though everything is determined by strength because there are places like Fairy Tail. Oh In Fire there are guilds for different things, magic, trading, sailing and more. Fairy tail is my guild and there the strongest in Fiore. Fairy Tail is like one big family, it doesn't matter how broken or messed up you are, what you're running from or anything else like that...Everyone's one big family and once your part of it you never want to leave. Unfortunately due to conflicts people are killed na injured a lot. But don't worry I fix them up." He smiled and said,

"It is very different from our kingdom but it sounds good. What do you mean by fix them up?" I smiled and said,

"Using my sky dragon slayer magic I can heal wounds." The monk almost tripped over himself and said,

"You can heal with your magic!" I nod and say,

"Yes I can. If there's anyone here that needs healing i'm willing to help them. If I have the ability to help someone I want to try and help them." The monk smiled na dsaid,

"In our kingdom we don't have any healers so everything has to be done manually and with time. If you have time would you mind having a look at some people." I felt a pang of happiness, I enjoy being needed and healing people. Nodding I say,

"We can go now. The rest of them are enjoying there tour but I would much prefer to be useful than sightsee, um even though this place is amazing." he nodded and I turn to lucy and say,

"Lucy?"

"Humm?"

"I'm going to go with Mathus and I'M going to go heal a few people." Lucy smiled at me and say,

"Just be careful?" I nod and wave to everyone. Behind us I hear laxus's deep and scary voice say,

"Is it alright to just let her go like that?" Lucy rempied,

"Yes, endy is a powerful dragon slayer, I trust she can take care of herself. She's not a child and I believe she shouldn't be treated like one." I grin at lucy's words and feel a warm glow of happiness in my chest. Following behind the monk I was lead of to a side area. Walking in I saw a nice and clean room. People laid on beds reading scrolls and such. When we entered everyone stopped and looked at us. I could see cass and other injuries. Stepping forward Mathus says,

"My fellow brothers this is Wendy, she is one of the forgeners. Please treat her with respect, she is a sister of the sky and is also a healer." Everyone's faces went from weary to kind and a little excited. Stepping forward I said

"H-Hello everyone. I hope that I can be of assistance to you all." I heard several welcomes. Mathus pointed to the first bed politely and I walked up to it. An ancient man with a thin body that looked like he would blow away in the wind layed on the bed, his body looked extremely ill and weak. Smiling I said

"May I try to heal you elder?" He smiled and sai,

"Your welcome to try child." Smiling I reached out a hand and took his. I could feel the strong air elements in his body and also his weak bones. It appears that his bones were so fragile they couldn't support his weight and snapped. Concentrating I pulled on the magic and pushed it into his body. I focused it on his bodes. I watched as the elder looked startled and said,

"Child your healing me!?" Siling I said threw my concentration,

"Of course. Your bones have merely become weak and brittle. Once i've finished remember to eat lots of leafy greens and things like milk are also healthy for you but I do not now what a monks diet is." He ndds and says,

"We eat the food farmed from our lands and animals we hunt ourselves. MIlk is rare but still easily attainable." Smiling I said,

"All done. Try walking for a minute today and then two tomorrow and each day I want you to build it up a day until you reach an hour. Then just walk and hour or longer. You need to rebuild the strength of your joints and muscles slowly everyday." The man smiled and reached into his robes and pulled out a small little white feather with some strange golden writing on it. Handin it to me he said,

"It's a good luck charm." Smiling I said,

"Thank you very much."
