CAMP

We drove all day for this journey, Seun was indeed helpful throughout but this time around I was able to listen to him in everyway necessary.

We talked about everything- at least this time am not pregnant-

“sorry to ask, are you married”? Seun said to me,

I kissed my teeth in a frustrated manner and said to him, “ my dear, I was for just two weeks”, Seun was shocked, he had a mixed feelings, either to laugh or to be serious, but when he looked at me, he saw that I wasn’t laughing nor joking.

(He cleared his laughing throat) “wow!, This is unbelievable!!” I must say,

“yes, I was married to a man I barely know just because I was eager to get married and I never knew it was all planned by my ex boyfriend”. (I paused)

“Guy, leave ooo, I was naïve and broken at that time, I thought marriage would help solve my mistakes, but it didn’t”.
