Apologize

Jesse's POV

"Tell me, Benson, tell me what I should apologize for ". I muttered out in anger 

"Should I apologize for dancing with a guy, oh I should apologize for telling you I was at home when I wasn't at home right?". I declared in anger 

I moved closer to him so that we were just an inch apart.

I place my two palms together in front of him

"I'm sorry Benson, I'm sorry for lying I was at home when actually I was out in a club dancing with a Man I don't even know until that night ". I muttered out in anger 

"Sorry Benson, I'm so sorry for loving you with all my heart, I'm so sorry for waiting on you even when everyone told me to forget about you and move on with my life"

"I'm sorry Benson, it wasn't your fault but mine ". I muttered out in tears

I met eyes with him and could see the guilt and pain in his eyes but I longer care for it, 

He ran his fingers roughly through his hair in Frustration before moving closer to me, but I brought forth my hand to him and stopped him

"Stay away from me Benson, don't you dare come closer to me". I muttered out in anger.

He stood there and didn't make a move 

"Jeez".he tried calling me, but I cut him off 

"Sign the papers Benson, sign the papers and get out of my life for good ". I muttered out in anger and climbed upstairs to the room.

I walk aimlessly in the room with pain and anger 

Today I've let out a I've been keeping inside me, and it felt like a big burden has been lifted from me.

I hissed softly before bringing out a bottle of water from the fridge and drank all at once to calm my nerves.

I checked the time and noticed it was almost time for rehearsal.

I brought out some casual wear and put them on before leaving the room.

I got downstairs and met Benson lost in thought, he noticed me and stared at me with no emotion on his face.

I walk up to the door, but he stood up and stood by the door 

"I haven't signed the divorce papers, why are you leaving now ".he spoke almost like a pled

I chuckled softly and stared at him with wild eyes.

"I'm going for practice,, please move out of the way ". I pushed him away and opened the door and left the house in anger 

"Not any more Benson, not anymore". I murmured to myself as I left the house.

I took a taxi and went to rehearsal hall

I stopped in front of the building and took in a deep breath before entering the hall.

I enter the hall and saw everyone gaze on me,, but I care less.

I went into the room and changed my clothes before going back to the hall.

I could hear whispering,, but that wasn't my problem.

"Line up ". I heard the dance Instructor voice.

We all stood in a straight line 

"Jesse".he calls out my name 

"Come to the front ". I hissed silently before making my way to the front.

"Let's go, one two, three four five ".he muttered out

I did the steps perfectly and was proud of myself.

We practiced for hours until he called it a day.

I was about going back to the dressing room to change when he called me back

I walk back to him and stood before him

"I'm glad you decided to join us ".he muttered out those words with a smile on his face which I did not return 

Even though he has apologized to me, whenever I see him I still remember those words he said to me

"I wish you can rethink your decision".he spoke almost like a plead 

I stared at him with wild eyes, never will I thought he would ever apologize to anyone or even begged.

"Sorry sir, there is nothing to think about". I spoke firmly 

He stared at me and nods his head before speaking up 

"At least can you dance as the lead soloist".he asked 

"No sir". I replied quickly 

"Why ?".he asked while staring at me with curiosity.

"Because I don't want to, I've been out of rehearsal for two days now and the show is in two days, I want to avoid making mistakes". I muttered out in a serious voice.

"You won't make mistakes you were perfect just now ".he tried convincing me 

"Please I can't sir, I beg to take my leave". I muttered out those words and walked away from him

Never again Will I let people use me for granted.

I walk into the dressing room and met few dancers there.

"So I heard you are terminating your contract ".one of the dancers asked 

"Yeah ". I replied and pull off my clothes

"Do you think you will get a better offer someone else ".one of the dancers mocked 

I stared at her and realized she was one of the dancers always looking for ways to annoy me but this time I will keep her where she belongs.

I moved closer and folds my arms while staring at her with a Victorious smile on my face.

"I know you were always scared of me, and you see me as a big threat to you, but not to worry girlfriend, I'm leaving, so your dim light can shine a little"I murmured out those words with a big grin on my face.

"See you later girlfriend, I hope your light shine now that I'm gone ". I muttered out those words and went back to my things.
