Jesse's POV

I swallowed nervously when I heard it was Daniel calling.

Since I came to Australia I haven't heard from Daniel, neither have I gotten a call from him, and now I'm married.

"Hey Jesse, are you there". Daniel's voice brought me back from my thought.

"Yes I'm here, how are you Daniel" I asked while staring at Benson who stared back at me with no expression on his face.

"I'm fine, sorry I haven't called for days I've been busy in California and thought it would be better if I call you once I get to Australia, how are you ?" He asked

"I'm fine". I murmured

"Are you okay ".he asked when he noticed the tune of my voice.

"Yes, yes, I'm fine ". I spoke up

"Are you sure, you don't sound happy, is something wrong ".he asked worriedly

I stared at Benson who was typing something on his laptop before speaking up 

"I'm fine Daniel you don't have to worry". I tried convincing him, 

He did not say a word for a while before he spoke.

"Where can we see ?" He asked, 

"Anywhere After practice ". I replied

"Alright, call me once you are done with practice"

"I will". I said those words and ended the call 

I kept back the phone and was on my way to the bathroom when Benson's words stopped me 

"You still haven't changed ".he muttered out those words with anger.

I turned and stared at him confused

"What do you mean". I asked confused, 

He ignored me and went back to what he was doing, I stared at him and wanted to say something, but I decided to let it be.

I went into the bathroom and took a quick bath, changed my cloths and came out of the bathroom.

I left the bedroom and made my way downstairs.

I got downstairs and went to the kitchen, where I saw Linda preparing breakfast.

"Good morning ma'am".she greeted, 

"Please call me Jesse" I smiled at her before searching for what to do.

"Okay, Jesse".she smiled back at me and continued what she was doing.

In a few minutes, we were done with the food and placed it on the table.

"Good morning, Miss Jesse ". Lilly walked downstairs with Benson.

"Morning Lilly, how was your night".

"Very well ".she smiled at me and took a seat.

"Morning sir". Linda greeted 

"Morning ".he responded and took the seat next to Lilly.

I took the seat opposite Lilly when I noticed Linda was walking away.

"Aren't you eating?" I asked 

"I'll eat later "

"Come join us now ". I smiled at her, 

She stared at Benson, who gave her a go ahead before she sat on the chair beside me.

"Let's eat ". Lilly giggled happily and put some food on her plate.

I chuckled at her behavior and started eating.

We finished eating and all left the dinning table. 

"I have to be at work ".he muttered out those words and left the sitting room

I was left with Linda and Lilly alone in the house.

"Are you going anywhere ?" Lilly asked.

"No where for now ". I replied 

"That's good because grandaunt is on her way ".she spoke happily

"Grandaunt?" I asked, so I could be sure of what I heard.

"Yes she is on her way".those words did not finish from Lilly's mouth before we hear a car horn at the gate 

"I think she is here ". Linda spoke up and left for the gate.

"Grandaunt is here ". Lilly giggled happily and ran out of the sitting room to the gate, 

"Be careful". I shouted after her, 

I sat on the couch in tension. 

Benson's aunt was here, and I haven't seen her for the past twelve years, and I wondered if she hated me like Benson did.

"Grandaunt". I heard Lilly's giggled happily as they walk into the sitting room.

"Miss Jesse is inside ". I could hear Lilly's voice.

I took in a deep breath and stood up from the couch.

The moment I stood up from the couch, I met face to face with Benson's aunt.

She was looking a bit older but still have all her physical features.

"Good day, aunt ". I greeted

She stared at me before looking away.

"How are you my dear".she smiled at Lilly and gently caress her hair.

"Very well ". Lilly replied happily.

"Listen dear, why don't you give I and miss Jesse some space".she said this words while caressing Jesse's hair

"Okay granny ".

Lilly smiled at me and left the sitting room.

Benson's aunt turns around and stared at me with anger and hatred that I couldn't endure.

"Hello aunt ". I greeted, but she ignored me and sat on the couch 

She stared at for a while before speaking up, 

You've finally gotten him, huh?" She asked in a mocking tune.

"You did not only break his heart, you destroyed him and also destroyed my life, and you too think you can have him ".she spoke with so much anger.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused

She Chuckled softy and stared at me with hatred.

"You still haven't changed, Jesse, always pretending like you don't know what's going on".she muttered out those words in anger.

I stared at her shocked and confused, 

"You acted like you loved him but all that was all play, just one action of yours destroyed Benson's life

"What are you talking about?". I asked, 

She hissed softly and stood up from the couch and stared at me with so much anger that I could feel it in my bones.

So, Benson lied to me about his aunt and everything, but I was curious about something

I was curious about how he lost his memory and couldn't remember me 

"Why do you hate me this much ?". I asked while staring at her.

She walked and stood in front of me, 

"Because you destroyed Benson's life,you fucking destroyed his life that we all have to start afresh just because of you ".she muttered out those words in anger.

"What are you even saying". I asked confused

"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about ".she murmured in anger.

"Because of you, Benson was involved in drugs, something he will never dare to do, he did all that all because you cheated on him".she yelled in anger.
