Annabeth sat on a dining chair in the kitchen. The chair is usually occupied by the head of the kitchen to oversee the cooking work of the chefs. However, this time, Annabeth was sitting there not to watch the cooks but to watch Brandon cook something on the nearby stove.
It was Brandon who had known that Annabeth was sneaking into the kitchen so late because he was hungry. The young man felt sorry for Annabeth and decided to cook a simple meal.
It didn't take long for Brandon to finish his cooking. He then placed his homemade food on the table in front of Annabeth. Brandon also let Annabeth eat. Of course, Annabeth, who was starving, happily ate it. The woman even ate heartily regardless of her image as the best waitress there.
Brandon smiled at the way Annabeth ate. He was happy because he felt that Annabeth's cooking was very appreciated.
"Is my cooking that good? You eat very well," Brandon said while propping his chin on the table.
