My Papa Show Up

As I was walking into the building, Ms Chou was coming out. She looped her arm around mine and turned me around.

"Did you have breakfast yet, sweet boy?" she asked.

"No, why?" I asked.

"Good. You're coming with me, then. I'm starving and we can go over the designs. I spoke with your father last night."

We pulled into the restaurant, ordered breakfast, and, as soon as we started going over the plans, my phone rang.

I pulled it from my pocket and it was Aunt Liu Ran.

"Hello," I answered.

"Hello. Mu Kang, this is Aunt Liu. The desk clerk gave me your message."

"Yes, Aunt Liu. I would like to invite if maybe Yun Jia and you would like to go outing with me in this afternoon. I thought maybe we could go to the National Zoo. And I think Yun Jia would love it because I did love it so much when I was in his age. But to be honest, I still do right now," I said.
