Drews P.O.V 5 months later

I woke up to the smell of bacon being cooked. I searched for Raven in the bed but she wasn't here with me. I groaned tiredly and crawled out of bed to see what she was doing in the kitchen.

"Holy hell Raven what did you do hire a chef?" I asked seeing a pile of waffles and bacon on the table.

"No I did this myself." She giggled coming from the pantry with syrup. She wore nothing but one of my button up shirts with her hair tied back into a ponytail.

"Stop staring." She smiled and came beside me at the table.

"Eat and tell me if it tastes okay." She said and made me a plate. I sat down and dug in after pouring syrup over everything.

"Mmm." I sighed happily. She smiled and sat beside me with a plate of her own.

"This is amazing, amour." I told her and she smiled wider. She had been trying to learn how to cook these past five months and she's been doing amazing.

"Did you feed Morte?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"Morte." She called and our hell hound appeared. He wagged his tail happily as she sat down a bowl full of bacon and waffles for him.

"Why did we name him Morte again?" She asked and pet him as he ate.

"Because if you pronounce Morte as More-tay it's french for death." I said and she laughed.

"Genius." She smiled and kissed my cheek. I chuckled and waited for her to finish her food.

"I think Morte might want a friend. He is getting lonely." She said and I laughed.

"What can you talk to animals now?" I asked and she blushed.

"No you dork I just get the feeling he might be lonely." She said and I nodded.

"Maybe we should create a girl hell hound for him." I said and she laughed.

"We're going to be grandparents soon after that." She said and I rolled my eyes. She giggled and got up.

"Where are you going?" I asked but she ignored my question and walked away. I gave Morte more meat before following her into the theater room.

"I wanna watch a movie." She said and I smiled. She was obsessed with watching a particular long movie almost daily.

"It's like seven hours long." I said as she sat down.

"I have nothing to do today." She said. I laughed and left her alone to watch her movie. I went to our bedroom to see Morte on his bed.

"Do you want a bath?" I asked him and he perked up. He ran to the bathroom and quickly jumped in the tub

Olivers P.O.V

I hate love. I hate it with a fucking passion. What's the use for love when all it does is bring you pain and suffering. Everyone I ever loved has left me. Alexia, Ally, Raven...I hadn't meant to hurt Raven. I loved her....I still love her. I hate that I love her and I can't have her. I deserved to be miserable honestly and hell I was getting what I deserved. I needed to apologize to her but she hardly ever came back to the castle anymore. She dropped in a few times a month and avoided me like I was the plague.

"Hey." Someone opened the dinning room door. I looked to see Raven and Drew step in holding hands and smiling. That should've been me with her.

"Ah Raven welcome home." Elijah said and they joined us at the table.

"Good afternoon, your majesty." Drew said and I rolled my eyes.

"Good afternoon, Oliver." Raven said. I excused myself from the table. I went to the garden and sat on the bench to clear my mind.

"Still can't be in the same room as us?" Drew appeared beside me.

"No." I said and he shook his head.

"Don't blame me for your own mistakes Oliver." He said and I groaned.

"Stay out of my thoughts Drew you know I hate that shit." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"When are you going to forgive me?" He asked and I smirked.

"How could I ever forgive you for taking Raven away from me." I said and he sighed.

"I didn't take her away from you Oliver you broke her heart and she moved on." He said and I growled.

"I didn't mean to break her heart...I love her just as much as you do Drew." I said and got up.

"I didn't say you didn't love her Oliver I know you do." He said to me.

"Why are you here in the first place?" I asked and he got up.

"I asked Raven if we could come over." He said and I turned to face him.

"Why? What business do you have outside of your precious castle, 'king' Drew?" I asked.

"I came her to get permission to ask Raven to marry me." He said and my heart shattered into a million pieces.

Lyras P.O.V

I didn't feel well today. I spent most of it in bed sleeping and some of it cuddled up to Elijah.

"You'll be fine my queen." He said and kissed my forehead.

"I know." I said and heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." Elijah said and Drew came in and bowed.

"I'm sorry to bother you." He said quietly.

"There is no bother King Drew come on over." I said and motioned for him to come over to the bed.

"Thank you ma'am." He said and came to the foot of the bed.

"Is everything alright?" Elijah asked him and he took a deep breath.

"I'm just a bit nervous your majesty." He said and I chuckled.

"I'd....I'd l-like to marry your daughter..." He said and I went wide eyed.

"Really?" I asked and he nodded blushing.

"I'm deeply in love with her." He said and I felt tears form in my eyes. My precious daughter married.

"Yes...you may ask our daughter for her hand." Elijah said and I nodded agreeing.

"Thank you so very much." He said and took a deep breath calming himself down.

"Welcome to our family." I said and got up and hugged him tightly.

"That's only if my amour says yes." He said
