Chapter 166 Will You Be Our New Luna Queen?

“Thank you for coming to the memorial of the Alpha King’s death,” Luna Queen, who stood at the podium, had just finished making her speech. “And thank you for all the support you have shown for the late Alpha King, the Ethereal Crown Pack, and the royal family.”
“As for the death of the Alpha King,” she continued, “We have conducted an investigation and concluded that he was indeed, unfortunately, killed by the rogues.”
Her last words roused a discussion amongst the Alphas who were present.
Mostly, they were saying what a pity it was, but they didn't make a big fuss out of it.
Maybe because it has been quite a while since his death, and all had more or less accepted the fact.
After the Luna Queen’s speech had ended, she stepped down from the podium and started to mingle with the guests.
A few Alphas came toward me and talked to me.
“Alpha Charlotte,” they greeted me and clinked their glasses with mine as a sign of basic courtesy.
