Chapter 28

　　Crystal's POV

　　I can hear the loud beat of my heart as it sink down the pit of my stomach in fear. I don't know if what I feel is fear or denial that I am not the woman he claims to know. I am different from that woman, I am no longer shy. I want to shout at him to get out again but I am tongue twisted. I can't find my voice as I watch him looking at me intensely.

　　How did he know? Where did he see my face? Who told him my real name? How did he recognize me?

　　"Is that why you rejected me? Is that why you have been masking yourself all along so I won't get to recognize you? Is that why you have been cold towards me?"

　　I can't find my voice and I stand frozen to my spot. My head is spinning as all the memories I have been shutting in comes rushing back and a lone tear roll down my eyes.

　　"Helen..." He calls.

　　"Don't call me that", I snap at him, shaking like a cold leaf.

　　"Crystal", he tries to move close but I stop him with my hand. "I'm sorry."
