Waking up

I wake up to the smell of disinfectant all around me, a clear sign that I was currently in a hospital. I slowly open my eye, it hurts a little due to the lights overhead. I bring my hand towards my face, its much smaller than what I remember mine being. I inspect other things, I notice that there is a bandage around my head and some small scars on my arms.

I sit up on my bed and look around, the room I was in wasn't very large, it had a window which had the blinds shut off to stop the sunlight, I was wearing an oxygen mask on my face, which I took off and some electrodes attached to my chest, connected to the electrocardiogram which was connected to a stand next to my bed.

Then all the memories come rushing back to me, my name is Aron Potts, I was born on 1st January 1994, I am the little brother of Virginia Potts. Recently our house had a fire accident in which our parents passed away, I was able to escape from the fire but in all that fuss got an injury to my head and lost consciousness. I pulled out the electrodes attached to my chest which caused the ECG machine to start beeping. Shortly after a nurse opened the door to my room and when she saw me siting up on my bed she immediately went away to call a doctor. The doctor came started checking my vitals and some other things, then he told me that I shouldn't have pulled out the things attached to my chest, to which I just nodded. He said he will call my sister now and I have wait here. He went away after that and I just sat there waiting.

After a while I see my sister coming into the room, she has a worried look on the face, her eyes look puffy and red from all the crying she must have done. I too am affected seeing her like this, it would seem I have inherited the emotions of the body.

"Aron, you are finally awake, how are you feeling" asked sis while hugging me tightly.

"Better..., sis what about mom and dad?" I asked her in a low voice.

Hearing me asking about our parents her grip around me tightened for a second, I too felt bad thinking about my parents but what was done was done.

"I am sorry Aron..., they are gone, but don't worry big sis is there for you, alright!" She said while gently rubbing my back with her right hand.

I just nod on her shoulder and then we separate from each other, I wipe my eyes off the tears that have accumulated in them. I made up my mind in that moment and accepted her as my real sister. I will protect her with all my might.

The next day I was released from the hospital and we went to my sister's place, she had bought it close to her work, she sometimes stayed here but mostly stayed in our home with our parents but that home had burned down now.

We will hold the funeral proceedings of our parents this week. There are no other relatives in our family so its just going to me and my sister, some collegues of our parents.

Our parents left us a good amount of money so we don't have to worry on that front. Sis works in the Stark Industries so there are no problems.

Its currently 2002 and I am 8 years old. I am a little taller for my age, I have dark blue eyes, brown hair and some baby fat on my face, I must say that I look cute right now. There wasn't much to be done right now. I will wait for the funeral proceedings to end to start up my plans.

Timeskip 1 year

Well things are progressing smoothly as of right now, the funeral proceedings were quiet and sombre for us, sis was not crying as much now but you could see the sadness in her eyes.

I had to buy new clothes and other things for myself, I didn't get involved in that process as it would be better for sis, it should take her mind off. After the proceedings I too started going to school, it was just long and boring as I knew everything that was being taught already, but nothing I could do about that just yet.

This world is definitely the MCU world, I checked up the information, Captain America looks just like the actor Chris Evans but better, Peggy Carter too look like Haley Atwell but better. Tony Stark's parents died in 1991 December, Hydra must be active and all that.

I checked up on my powers, my brain now works at speeds I am not used too, everything is much clearer now to me, its like a fog that was on my mind has been lifted, along with that came an autobiographic memory, concepts which had alluded me in my previous life are now all clear to me and I must say that its an amazing feeling to have such an intellect.

My body too is much more healthier than in my previous life, I feel this boundless energy within me, its a good feeling.

I have started going to the library regularly now, I cannot show my prowess just yet, need to build it up slowly, so I am taking my time, there is no rush as the main event I am aiming for is 7 years into the future. Till then I have many projects lined up, since I have time I would bring up games and apps which have not yet been made to life much earlier than in my previous world, it won't be difficult to do as I am already proficient in programming languages and with the future insight that I have I can make them much better than in my previous world. Its going to be quiet the journey.

Sis has finally started to work as the personal secretary for Tony too. Its good that the events are not shiffting due to my presence.
