Kryzius and the team regrouped on the Thanatos, the ship's interior humming with the usual activity. He leaned against the railing, looking at his comrades with a mix of seriousness and resignation.

"I guess I explained a lot, didn't I?" Kryzius said, breaking the silence. His voice carried a weight that matched the gravity of the situation.

Darius, leaning against a nearby wall, crossed his arms. "Yeah, you did. But what's the plan now, Captain?"

Kryzius sighed, running a hand through his hair as he considered their next move. "We're going to work with the Special Ops. They're not officially part of Usha Town's forces, but they have vital information about the Hyperwraiths. It seems like we don't have much of a choice if we want to understand what we're dealing with here."

Aeti, who had been quietly observing, spoke up. "And Li Zhen? What's his angle in all of this?"

Kryzius shook his head. "He claims to have an interest in us—in me, specifically. But I can't shake the feeling that there's more going on here. He's keeping his cards close to his chest."

Yamaha, usually calm, looked concerned. "So, we're walking into this blind?"

"Not entirely," Kryzius replied, his voice steady. "We know what we're up against. We've faced worse before, and we'll face worse again. But we have to stay sharp. Whatever Li Zhen's true intentions are, we'll find out soon enough."

Rina, who had been fidgeting impatiently, finally spoke up. "Well, I'm ready to kick some Hyperwraith ass. Let's show them what Vanguard X is made of!"

Kryzius smiled faintly, her enthusiasm lifting the mood slightly. "That's the spirit, Rina. Let's stay focused and be ready for anything. We're heading into unknown territory, but we'll face it together."

The others turned to Sara, their attention drawn by her words. Kryzius raised an eyebrow, signaling her to continue.

Sara frowned, crossing her arms as she thought aloud. "It's kind of strange, don't you think? None of us knew that these 'Hyperwraiths' even existed until now. So why would they suddenly start attacking Usha Town out of all the kingdoms? What makes this place so special?"

The question hung in the air, and the team exchanged uneasy glances.

Aeti nodded, her mind already working through the possibilities. "That's a good point. Hyperwraiths are an evolution of Oxtywraiths, but for them to emerge like this—targeting Usha Town specifically—it implies there's something here that's either attracting them or provoking them."

Alex, still leaning against the wall, added, "Maybe it's something to do with their resources or the experiments they've been running. Or maybe there's something in Usha Town that the Hyperwraiths want."

Kryzius remained silent for a moment, processing the new angle. "It's possible. Li Zhen mentioned that the Special Ops are here to gather information on the Hyperwraiths. Maybe they know more than they're letting on."

Yamaha leaned forward, his voice calm but firm. "So, what's our move, Captain? Do we dig deeper, or do we stick to the mission?"

Kryzius straightened up, his resolve hardening. "We stick to the mission, but we stay vigilant. We'll work with the Special Ops to handle the Hyperwraiths, but we keep our eyes and ears open. If there's something more going on here, we'll uncover it. And we'll be ready for whatever comes next."

Rina grinned, ready for action. "Sounds like a plan. Let's get to it!"

Kryzius nodded, the team's determination fueling his own. "Alright, everyone. Gear up and prepare for the next phase. We're not just fighting Hyperwraiths—we're unraveling a mystery. Stay sharp."
