Sean Dayward POV:
"Well, I'll leave this place to you two," Helis took the initiative to stand up and leave the two of us alone in this quiet place.
I nodded as I looked at him, "Thank you," and then roamed my gaze toward Haruka.
My face flushed in warmness from embarrassment as I recalled what I had just said a few hours ago before clearing this place off of any living soul besides us.
Step, step, step.
Krack.
The door clanked as it shut me and the girl next to me from the rest of the world.
Now, on this quiet and beautiful night, I was now all alone with Haruka.
Crickets were singing, the moon was lighting us from atop with its wonderful luminescent illumination, and so did the stars. The rifts in the space made the night fully more beautiful.
Albeit the world around me was constructed of such beauty to witness, my eyes seemed to think nothing of it compared to Haruka's presence in front of me.
