Sean Dayward POV:
"About two years, I guess…" I trailed off as I looked into the horizon of this floor from the Castle's balcony.
Helis's reaction wasn't quite what I had expected it to be.
He wasn't shocked or disturbed at all by this fact, instead, it felt like he was already sure of it beforehand.
He softly spoke, "I see. You were all alone, right?" He asked as he gazed into my eyes, that darkness in his own temples that seemed devoid of life.
"Yes, that's correct." This veranda was just wide enough so we could sit with our legs stretched out and in a nice place to listen to the night music.
"You know, I really missed you all," I stated my honest opinion as I recalled my time on the sixth floor which felt like a flash and yet an eternity.
"I'm sorry…" Helis trailed off, his indifferent face didn't inch at all, but by the tone of his voice, I could understand that he was moved by this whole situation that had been brought onto us.
