New world, New Emotions

Time flows back to a few hours ago, and after sending some maids to call Arthur in for dinner, Sephrina and Elias realized that he wasn't where he was supposed to be

Adding to the footprints the maids said they saw on the scene, the two of them realized at some point Arthur must have entered the forest

So, figuring this out, the both of them didn't hesitate to ask their former party member and friend Amos as well as some guards to go look for him, since with him there nothing could possibly go wrong

And if it did, they were sure Amos would buy them enough time till they arrived

Fortunately, it seems that their worries were for naught as after waiting for a few hours, Amos, along with Arthur and the guards finally arrived

And while they were both extremely relieved, they still decided to scold Arthur for a bit so he lent his lesson

Thinking of this, they both frowned their brows and folded their Arms after seeing Arthur coming towards them

"Arthur! Where were you? And what were you doing!?"

Looking down at Arthur who nervously shrunk his neck, Elias took the lead in scolding him.

[Arthur Pov]

"Damn! Mom and Dad are really pissed!" cursed Arthur

Hearing the Anger in Elias's voice as he spoke to him and seeing Sephrina's frown, Arthur realized that he must have made them really worried

Just imagining how they felt when their only son who had been assassinated once before suddenly turned missing in a dangerous forest no less

Arthur knew that he was at fault and couldn't help but feel bad knowing that he had made them feel this way

Even Amos as well as the other guard around, Arthur could feel their genuine worry making him feel all the worse that he had worried everyone so much

Thinking of this, Arthur first took a bow at his parents and the rest of the knights and Amos apologizing for all the trouble he had just caused 

"Mom, Dad, Uncle Amos, and everyone else, I'm sorry for worrying you all so much"

"I promise I'll try my best to make sure something like this doesn't happen again"

Expressing his sincerity, for someone who had never experienced true familial love in his last life, Arthur unknowingly began to treasure these small things

Because of that, knowing that he had made his family worry about him, Arthur began to feel a strange feeling swell up from within his chest

*What is this feeling? Although I don't regret meeting the elves and making them dependents, now that I know that I made my family especially Mom and Dad feel so worried*

*Why does it hurt? *

*It feels like something is squeezing my heart*

Feeling this strange sensation, Arthur remained in a bow as he began as began to figure out what was wrong with him

However, to the outside world, it looked like he was too afraid to raise his head until he got their forgiveness

Sephrina seeing this couldn't help but give in and rush up to the unsuspecting Arthur and hug him directly

"Don't be sad little Arthur, your dad and I aren't angry. We were just worried since you suddenly disappeared from the training ground and didn't show up for dinner" 

Hugging Arthur, a beautiful smile bloomed on her face sweeping away all the strange feelings Arthur felt within him

Not only that but sensing the change in Arthur's mood, the others also began to speak up

From the guards

"ha-ha don't be down young master, you're safe and sound and that's all that matters"

To Elias

"Arthur, although I don't like the fact that you got missing, your mom and I are glad you're okay"

To Amos

"Tch... I can't believe a student of mine got lost in a small forest, it seems I have to double your training. Also, I'm glad you're okay"

Unknowingly the all-round atmosphere had taken a sharp turn from its former depressing and tense one, to one filled with joy and relief

And noticing this Elias wanting to retain this new mood decided to throw a banquet within the mansion to celebrate Arthur's safe return to which no one objected.

In the world of Elias, the days and night aren't that too different from the blue star as they both follow 12-hour intervals meaning one full day was 24 hours just like his hometown

And now about a week had passed and right now, and right now like always Arthur was currently learning swordsmanship from Amos

"Remember Arthur, swordsmanship like Mana is meant to be manipulated by us not the other way round"

"In our empire, although most of the aura users use swords, but other ways of manipulating aura do exist such as by directly imbuing it into your fists making it possible to break mountains with your bare hands, or even at a certain level use it to create weapons out of nothing!"

"These are also called Aura constructs usually available at the Elder sword sage level equivalent to a fifth circle mage"

Speaking to Arthur who was sitting cross-legged in front of him, Amos began to guide him on some of the basic knowledge of aura and mana

"And my heavenly sword breathing method, although not complete it is said that once it reaches its final stage or sword saint level, then with all you need is but a sword to slash the heavens"

"Unfortunately, not only has there been no existence of a sword saint in many years, but most of this breathing method has been lost leaving only the parts till you reach and Aura knight with is basically a seventh circle mage"

"However, even with his, reaching the seventh circle is in no way going to be easy, so you must prepare yourself for the road ahead, after all the road to the extraordinary has never been a straight one"

Hearing this, Arthur couldn't help but think of all the things he had gone through in his former world during his journey to attain the extraordinary

And while he finally succeeded in the end, Arthur agreed with Amos' words right now

Seeing this, Amos didn't say anything more and just stood up holding a long branch toward him

"Alright that's enough talk, come at me!"

Seeing this, Arthur wasn't surprised as he was already used to it and rushed toward him

*Boom! *

Soon with the rising of the surrounding dust, the sound of loud collisions echoed all through the training room.
