Going through time

"This is…BLOOD!" Emma said to herself as the substance became more visible to her. She would have doubted such was happening at that moment if her fingers hadn't come in contact with the blood.

"How in the fucking world are they bleeding without an open wound?" Emma asked herself again as she checked both properly.

Soon, she began to panic when she couldn't find any physical wounds that must have caused them to suddenly start to bleed. Without a second thought, she rushed towards where the emergency alarm button had been etched in and with a single punch of her finger, she pressed the button really hard.

The nurses on duty should probably reach the room in about three to five minutes from their stations as the emergency alarm would have ringed loudly in their respective stations.
