Reincarnated with JJK Powerset in Harry Potter!

My first fanfic and my first story guys! Updates are every week! No patreon or monetary gain from this at all either, this is purely for the reasons to tell a story, so I appreciate the reads! We'll travel to multiple different worlds but rest assured, I'll make sure to flesh them out 100% of the way. Character will start off strong as all hell, and hopefully I'll be able to bring some nuance, and some humanity. Love you everyone! Isekai is a go!

Limitless

The young witch and the rest of the trio raised their eyebrow, curiosity infecting them.

"I'm not sure where to begin," I admitted.

The young witch and the trio of friends exchanged curious glances, clearly intrigued by my statement.

"I have an ability related to manipulating space," I began, feeling a bit awkward as I tried to put it into words. Hermione wore a puzzled expression, mimicking Ron's bemusement, while Harry seemed captivated by the idea.

Harry inquired, "What exactly can you do with it?"

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. "I can control aspects of space, like gravity, or air," I explained, referencing the incident with the Dementor. "It's hard to describe..."

Hermione promptly concluded, "Telekinesis."

I nodded in agreement, still uncertain about the best way to describe my abilities.

"Show me." Hermione directed eagerly, her curiosity getting the better of her.

I shot her a puzzled look, trying to figure out how to do a demonstration. Ron interjected, "Do you even know how to use it, mate? You don't have to do it now."

Harry chimed in, "I'm sorry about Hermione's enthusiasm. You don't have to feel pressured."

Hermione sighed, her remorse evident. "I might have been too pushy. I apologize, Yumi. Your magical ability is truly unique, but you don't have to show us more if you're not comfortable."

I reassured them, offering a warm smile. "It's alright, guys. Could you set up a training dummy about 50 feet away from us? I want to show you, but it's not your typical telekinesis. It can be a bit... destructive."

Hermione's eyes widened, but she nodded in agreement.

The trio took a step back as I prepared. Suddenly, the room hummed with energy once more, and a training dummy materialized out of thin air.

"I'm going to try something I've never done before, so please stand back," I cautioned them.

The trio quickly moved away, giving me space to concentrate on my next move.

I don't have any clue on how to do reversed curse technique, so I can't use red at the moment. It doesn't help that I'm under a time constraint right now. If I could just practice on my own and figure this shit out, I wouldn't have to deal with this annoying feeling of mediocrity! I imagined my experience with Sukuna's techniques being second nature and specifically wished for mastery of them. However, with Gojo, I didn't specify it as clearly in retrospect. Azathoth is a dickhead for sure, but it was an error of judgment on my part to throw in a Gojo wish without precisely saying I'd need mastery.

Briefly reminding me of all-powerful magical beings called genies, they operated on a similar wishing system as the Blind Idiot. It was akin to a contract in my world.

You have to read the fine print

This sucks. Divination Sucks. I suck. If I'm correct in my assumption, then reverse curse technique should come easy to me on the healing aspect, but using the reverse curse technique in Limitless's case should be even more problematic. I'd have to move my cursed energy in a completely different way, as Sukuna and Gojo are completely different levels of complexity. If I ended up trying to use red now, I couldn't fathom the amount of embarrassment I'd get if nothing happened.

I wished for no constraints and drawbacks did I not?

I then realized, my heart was racing.

A constraint is a restriction or limitation, and that bastard could make the 'drawback' part mean all the same. Theoretically, I'd have no limits in how I can apply my cursed energy techniques, as I can pretty much make new abilities stemming from my innate techniques with the imagination or will, with no "drawbacks" but then that'd need to be limited with simple logic, as it's confined to the nature of cursed energy, therefore making the constraint aspect altered when I had to ask the question of whether or not my wish had any weight on alternate energy sources. Magic, Ki, etc.

Clearly, It did not. An almost braindead, idiotically vague wish on my part. It could be interpreted in any way, and I inadvertently asked for it to be interpreted by the God of Chaos. That's why the bastard smiled!

I would have to figure out how to pool magic itself in my neutral Limitless, and that's something that would irritate me to no end. All of my abilities stemmed from the manipulation of cursed energy, and it's power is potent. However, to the likes of magic?

I wouldn't want to try my Infinity against a killing curse without it.

However, the compensations are well worth it. A plus side to this wish is that it meant that if I were hit by something like a full counter, or anything that sends my attack back at me, I wouldn't be harmed.

I guess now I know how Superman felt... well, at least the one who isn't a God.

Two seconds have passed as my train of thought ran. Six eyes are already working on my processing. I opted to go for blue, as it'd be the easiest to execute.

Blue is derived from the Limitless technique obviously, as it brought the concepts of "Negative Numbers, or Negative distance into reality" Now this begs the question, what the fuck is Negative distance? It's an impossibility. Negative distance isn't real.

Well, that's where the simple part comes in. It's akin to removing a part of an equation, or a sequence of reality that I want to disrupt and effect with my prior knowledge of what I desire to influence. Matter is what occupies space, while whatever is around it is space itself. Simple. The nature of limitless should help with the feeling of the manipulation of space. I just have to convey the intention of what I want to subtract from reality as I increase my cursed energy output.

'Infinity is something that's naturally there. I just bring it into reality'

5 seconds have passed.

I lifted up my hand and quietly whispered the words.

"Cursed technique Lapse: Blue"

SHOOOM!!!

With a surge of blue energy around its form, the training dummy shuddered, its connections to its position weakening with frightening ferocity. As the bright blue energy field spiraled into it, the The training dummy was torn asunder violently from the attraction, its form fracturing and fragmenting into countless shimmering shards. Each piece spiraled away in chaotic disarray, creating a trail of wood chippings as they rocketed through space. I noticed a large crater was left where the training dummy had once resided. As the remnants of the energy drifted away into nothing.

"You said TELEKINESIS! What the bloody hell was that!?" Ron's voice erupted in a mixture of shock and disbelief, echoing through the chamber. Harry and Hermione stood there, their expressions filled with a profound sense of fear and amazement. I could only offer a powerless shrug, coupled with a nervous smile directed at Hermione.

"I did tell you it's not your typical telekinesis, Hermione," I replied, my voice tinged with a hint of apprehension.

Walking up to Harry, who seemed lost in a daze, I snapped my fingers in front of his face. "Earth to Harry, you alright, mate?" He blinked, his furrowed eyebrows slowly relaxing.

"I've got a lot to work on," Harry admitted, his eyes still fixed on the spot where the training dummy had been. "I feel like I've barely scratched the surface."

Meanwhile, Ron had moved closer to the crater, inspecting it with a mix of fascination and excitement. "Blimey, that was wicked!" he exclaimed.

Hermione, on the other hand, remained in a state of shock. Her mind was undoubtedly racing, attempting to process what just happened. I decided to play with her. I inched closer to her face, as a goofy smile played on my mine. "You look like a fool gaping like that" I whispered. I swear I could see red plague her face before she stepped back quickly, her eyes narrowing. "Don't get full of yourself, what even was that!" She shouted, looking down deep in thought.

The concept limitless, even by Jujutsu standards, was a complicated and bewildering one. I couldn't blame her for struggling to find an immediate explanation. After all, even Gojo had to actually die to master such a power, and here I was, wielding it with the added advantage of foresight.

Even the chamber itself shuddered, the crater slowly filling up with stone once more as the rubble disappeared with it. Ron shouted as the chamber repaired itself. "How can you do this and not float!". Hermione looked at Ron as if he was stupid. "Unique magical abilities are normally easier to do than anything having to do with the magical branches." she strutted to where the room was repared. "Only six in the whole world have these unique abilities. Well, we should say seven now." the trio stared at me.

"Six?" I asked.

RIIIIIIIIIING!

"Seriously?" Hermione asked as Harry facepalmed. "I told you we didn't have a lot of time. Haha, at least we know what you can do Yumi. We'll help you with magic another day." I smiled as Ron and Hermione returned. Sensing that we were about to leave, the Room shifted to its regular stone appearance, humming quietly. "What class do we have next Ron?" I asked. "Care of Magical Creatures mate. You're gonna love this one"
