"Damn, it's so fucking hot!" Lumien groaned, his head spinning and he felt his throat dry as a desert.
Even with the blankets tossed aside, letting the chilly wind of autumn penetrate through his body, he felt as though an unrelenting fire continued to scorch his body.
"Is my body finally reacting to the stress of today's events? But I'm not as weak as I used to be." Lumien muttered to himself, unable to understand the sudden onset of fever. He had worked hard to strengthen his Vitality and Stamina precisely to avoid situations like this. Yet, despite his efforts, the illness had still found him.
As he tried to analyze his condition, he felt something was off. Instead of getting the burning sensation spreading evenly through his head and body, the heat seemed to be unnaturally concentrated—centered around his lower abdomen.
