The next day and the 8th day of the Nine School Competition.

Gasper was not the only known or popular individual from Second High or to be exact in Oreki's group who competed yesterday in the Newcomer Battle Board event. In the Women's category, Sona also competed and obviously, she was one of the finalists which is even more obvious that she won her event in the finals against the First High student name Mitsui Honoka.

At first, Sona did not want to participate in the event after much convincing from her peers except for Tsubaki. The reason they gave to her is that if she joined it would just be bullying at that point and they also felt bad for the other finalist who they thought should have taken the first place but because they are here in this foreign world, they prevented them to reaching the glory of winning their respective event.

However, Oreki was able to convince Sona to compete by saying a simple reason that she could hold back was to not look like she bullying her opponents and he also told her that she would be rewarded. It can be said to the others who competed in the previous event will also be rewarded handsomely though they don't know it yet Oreki is just bullshitting.

As for the result of Sona's holding back, it gives the other students some false hope that they will be able to compete for the first place. However as it has been said already, Sona still won even though she held back on controlling water or using Water Manipulation too much. Honoka who was the other finalist used a Two-step strategy to force the other students to use sunglasses and used shadow manipulation to manipulate the shadow of the corner of the track though at the end of the day that didn't work on Sona.

"God!!! Morning Japan!! I'm your host Takamori and I am with my friend here Takeru and Naoka. We are here to give a pre-game analysis for our viewers at home. And this program is brought to you by the Kudou family and 4LT." Takamori said to the camera in front of him before turning to the other two "I know I already did this earlier but..." However, he was able to finish his question as both the two other people with him answered.

"Second High" Naoka and Takeru answered flatly.

Takamori did not get angry, instead, he smiled at them "I know both of you will answer that but what if I told you that the Second High representative of today's Newcomer Ice Pillar game for the female category dropped out" He said.

"And are you saying too that the one who drops out is from that Second High special group?" Naoka the First High fanboy asked with a frown.

Takamori nodded making the other two react happily "Did they tell the reason?" Takeru the Third High fanboy asked.

"They said that the girl fell from stairs and had a back injury," Takamori said as he read the paper.

The other two nodded while saying "I see"

"Now then let me ask again, what do you think is the result of today's event?" Takamori asked.

With their newfound confidence in their horses both of them answer their favorite School.

"I think you guys are forgetting the Male representative of the Second High is from that special group and he seems to be the leader of it." Takamori reminded them.

"Oh right, the rumored Yotsuba but can counter Ichijou magic?" Takeru asked.

"Well, he is a Yotsuba and he is also the leader of Second High so we can expect that he has a counter for Third High Ichijou. What about you our viewers what do you think?" Takamori asked in front of the camera.

In the First High Tent.

The student council and some of the Freshmen participating in the Pillar Break were watching the show just now on the flat-screen TV.

Mayumi turns off the TV before turning to her fellow students "Now that Rias dropped out of this event. It seems like one of you girls will have the chance to win this one." She said with a smile "No offence" She added.

The others nodded in agreement to Mayumi.

"Non-taken Kaichou, In the first place we already know our limitations and don't want to compare ourselves to Gremory-san," said Shizuku with a wry smile as she accepted the fact that she is mediocre compared to Rias who demolished her in the Newcomer Speed Shooting Finals. She even cried in her hotel after that event luckily her friend Honoka comforted her, not in a lewd way like what happened to a certain Greyrat and his Lolibaba master.

"Don't sell yourself, Shizuku maybe with the help of Tatusya-san, you'll be able to compete properly against Rias if she still going to participate" Honoko said though she too already accepted that she won't take first place as long as the Second High Students are there to compete because she already experience their superior magical abilities yesterday and when Tatsuya informs her that Sona was holding back, started crying all of the sudden. Luckily her friend Shizuku comforted her and again not in a lewd way.

Shizuku sighed hearing what Honoka said. "Don't butter up on me" She said in a flat tone. "Maybe our First-year Representative is the only one who can compete with Gremory-san" She added while she looked at Miyuki.

"I don't think so" Miyuki replied before looking at Tatsuya and then back to Shizuku "Onii-sama already told me just have fun and don't think much about winning" She added with a smile.

The group looked at Tatsuya and waited to confirm if he said that. He closed his eyes and bowed his head slightly to prove it. The group collectively sighs while thinking even their monster First Year won't have a chance against Rias or anyone from the group.

"However, now that Gremory-san dropped out of the event the first place is for anyone to take," Miyuki said with a smile. Luckily Rias dropped because now she can show off her skill to everyone and also give the first win for Tatsuya as the CAD engineer of their group.

"I won't lose Miyuki!" Shizuku said confidently.

"Likewise Shizuku" replied Miyuki. 

"Good luck to both of you," Mayumi said with a smile "As for the Male..." she was cut off by Maki. "Let's not talk about that, why don't you spill the beans and give the details already about your date with Oreki-san," Maki said with a smirk,

Mayumi blushed after hearing that "Wha....mind your own business Maki!" said her.

"You don't want any advice from me?" Maki said.

Mayumi started thinking if she should take Maki's offer but then she looked around and saw that other students waiting for her to talk except for Tatsuya, Miyuki, and Suzune. She then turns to Maki "No... I can handle my relationship on my own" She said.

"You heard her, so scatter around," Suzune said to the crowd flatly with a slight smile. The crowd of First High students started walking to their station in a disappointed manner.

Maki started talking about the date and Mayumi's relationship while also trying to convince her to tell her more details. Azusa is also there to assist Maki in her gossip adventure.

Miyuki, Honoka, and Shizuku watched this shenanigan with a smile. Miyuki then noticed her brother, looking somewhere. She then walked towards Tatsuya "Onii-sama is there something that caught your eye?" She asked curiously.

Tatsuya told Miyuki that their Aunt and Mother were here and wanted to meet them before Miyuki's event started. They excused themselves as they went to the place of the meeting.

"Wow, so magic is real?" Ai asked RUBY.

"Yes in our world" Ruby replied "and as a matter of fact in this world, there's some kind of magic thing going on too." She added as she looked at the Twins with a smile making the twins gulp.

"Really? Can you teach me?" Ai question.

RUBY thought for a while before saying "I think I can teach you some concealment charm so you don't get stalked by your fans."

However when RUBY was about to explain things someone rang the doorbell again making Ai and the Twins shiver. 

"Don't worry that won't happen again because I'm here!" RUBY said smiling widely.
