Caged Lives

The room lit up with blinding light and a sudden feeling of headache got the trainees.

The light slowly vanished and it was replaced by a dark and cold atmosphere.

" Light ". Haru ordered.

One of the trainees grab a thick piece of wood on her bag and lit the top with her fire magic.

The room then began to have some light and there's steel bars on the stone walls.

Haru grab the torch and walk towards the steel bars; and she saw a skinny child with dog-like ears; a demi human boy sitting and staring hopelessly at the cold floor.

Haru turn around and faced the trainees.

" This is it, hurry up and free every single person inside this bars! and be careful on using your magics ". Haru ordered.

The trainees were fast paced and immediately took the order without hesitation.

{ So this hallway is filled with cages huh?, and inside it is people from the outside village }

Haru walk towards the cage where the demi human boy is at and touched the bar.

" Mud Magic: Disintegrate ".

The steel bars turns into liquid in instant when she touched and casted the spell.

Haru walked inside the cage and carry the boy in her hands, she looked further back and it was empty.

" You must be lonely all this time ". Haru stated while she look at the demi human boy.
