Chapter 19: She's really different from before

I heard their footsteps leaving.

" Her-" Zion was about to shout, so I quickly covered his mouth and looked him in the eye.

"Don't make a noise," I whispered.

I was surprised when he suddenly fell silent and stared at me. Zion is really handsome, the kind that girls would chase after. His hair was swept to the side, not fully covering his forehead. What kingdom is he again? I remember now the Earth Prince.

He removed my hand from his mouth.

"How did it happen that your eyes are red, not brown?" he asked, frowning.

"Because it's just contact lenses, and this is my true eye color," I said, peeking again.

Maybe the guard is still there. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the guard was gone. Whew. This companion of mine is so noisy.

I raised my eyebrow when he touched the tip of my nose.

"What are you doing?" I asked, frowning.

he wasn't smiling or anything. He seemed normal. Isuddenly remembered our position and quickly stood up and dusted myself off.

I looked at the wall.

"Hey! Get up from there! You climb the wall first," I said.

"Why would I, and why should I climb that wall?" he retorted.

"Uhm, excuse me?! For your information, we were leaving the palace, but you interrupted everything. You might even report to Dad, so you're coming with us. So, Mr. No-More-Questions, climb up!" I said.

This guy just rolled his eyes, like he's gay or something. He climbed up right away.

"You climb up by yourself," he said.

"Hello, of course, I will climb by myself," I said, rolling my eyes and putting my foot up to climb the wall.

"What are you doing?" he asked, frowning.

I stepped back to get a running start.

"Climbing," I simply said, then jumped up and successfully reached Zion.

Jaw dropped.

"Don't gape too much. Hmm, where are they?" I said, closing his mouth.

"Leanille, over here!"

"Hi, sis!!" I said.

"Leanille!! Don't jump, it's too high-- Ahhhh!!"

My sister Elanie screamed when I jumped down, landing on one knee, hands on the ground, and slightly bent over.

I stood up, flipping my hair back.

"Cool," said Olive and Zede.

"What's cool about that?!! Hey Leanille!! What if you get hurt, huh?!!" my sister Ellaine scolded.

Hahaa, she hit Olive and stood with her hands on her hips in front of me.

"Reckless," Zion said, now down.

"What, sis, it's just a low jump. Look, I don't have any scratches or wounds," I said, spinning around.

"Leanille!" they said.

"Okay, okay, it won't happen again," I said, smiling.

They hugged me, so I hugged them back.

"Where are we going now?" Olive asked.

Hmm, where indeed? I looked around. Actually, this part is a bit forested. I closed my eyes because I seemed to hear something.

"Leanille, is there something wrong?" Sister Ellanie asked.

"Shhhh," I said while closing my eyes.

"Sis!! Follow me!" I said immediately and ran.

I closed my eyes for a moment and opened them, heading towards the thick bushes.

"Leanille, where are we going?!" my sisters asked, struggling to follow.

I went to the left, then straight to the right.

When I looked back, they were gone.

"Sis!!!" I called.

"Leanille!! Slow down!!" they said.

"Ugh! This is annoying!! I stepped in mud!! Look at my heels, they're dirty," Sister Ellanie complained.

"Take them off, Elanie, and you too, Ellaine," Olive said.

Zion and Zede just followed as if nothing bothered them.

I was just in slippers, so it was okay.

"Leanille, where are you going?" Zede asked.

"Hahaa, just follow," I said and continued walking.

The sound grew louder. Hahaa, we're close.

"Do you hear that?" Olive asked.

"It sounds like the flow of water," Sister Ellaine said.

And here it is.

"WE'RE AT THE WATERFALL AT LAST!" I said.

Waaaahh!! It's so beautiful. I knew it was a waterfall. The sound of water falling from above to below was what I heard earlier.

"Wow!!! It's so beautiful!!" my sisters exclaimed.

Even Zion was surprised by the beauty he saw.

Hahaha, I took off my slippers.

The water is so clear!!

"It's swimming time!!" I said and went down to the water.

"Leanille!!! You don't know how to swim!!" they said.

"I can do this!" I said and jumped into the water.

"Leanille!!!!" they shouted.

I just dived into the water, but I ran out of breath quickly. Why is it like this?? It's so beautiful underwater, but it's annoying!

I immediately came up.

I frowned. I used to be able to hold my breath.Is it because I'm the fire princess??

"Leanille! My gosh, we thought you drowned!" Sister Elena said.

Never mind. I just smiled and floated.

"Come on, sis, the cold water feels great. It's relaxing," I said, closing my eyes while floating.

I opened my eyes when something covered my face.

"Hahaa," I looked at Olive, who was now shirtless.

"Idiot!! So this is yours," I said.

" R-really?" I asked.

"Hahahaa, yes, Leanille!" they said.

So embarrassing.

"Hahaa," Olive laughed in front of me.

"He!! Oh, here you go!! What am I going to do with your shirt?! And please, I'm not the old Leanille. I'm a new one, so please?!! I don't want to hear about the old me," I said, which made them gasp.

Even Zion and Zede, who were just sitting on the rocks.

"Hahahaa, you've really changed, but I want to prove it first," Olive said with a mischievous smile.

"How?" my sisters asked.

He grinned, pulling me closer by the waist and bringing his face close to mine, which shocked me.Even my sisters and Zede were surprised by what Olive did to me.

Our noses touched, and he was about to kiss me. Shit! What is he doing?!! Luckily, we didn't sink. He was grinning, staring at me. Is this how he'll prove I'm different now?

"What is this?" I asked curiously. What is he doing?

They were shockee even Olive was surprised. What's surprising about what I said? They're crazy.

"What?" I said.

"Hahahaa, you've really changed! If you were still the old you, you might have kissed Olive," Sister Elena said.

"Eww~ Why would I?!"

I pushed the overly familiar Olive away.

Did I see Zion smile? But when I looked again,

So after that, we swam, and it was getting dark. We got out of the water. My sisters dried our clothes so Mom wouldn't worry.

"Thank you, Leanille," Olive and Zede said.

"Yeah, sure, okay, bye-bye," I said and jumped down the wall back inside.

"Hahahaa, that was fun, Leanille," Sister Elanie said.

"We should do that often, haha," Sister Ellaine said.

"Sure, sis!" I said.

Hahahaa, I told you, new memories!

We got inside. Mom wasn't mad. She just said we should tell them next time. Now I'm in my room. I remembered, who was it that brought me home when I fainted? I forgot to ask.

I'll just sleep now.
