Leo:

[Fight the Guildmaster!?]

Reine:

[Yes, well technically it's just a light spar to determine if you are physically qualified to be registered as an adventurer]

Leo:

Reine:

Leo:

Abby:

[Well then, Let's go, nya. Just proceed to the back and wait for the instructor to arrive, nya]

Reine and Leo nodded

(A few minutes later)

Reine and Leo were currently inside a room with a wide open space. Every corner was filled with nothing but weapons and armor.

Reine:

[Hey, I know what you're capable of but still, be careful. This is the Guildmaster we're taking about. Compared to the knights in our country, he can easily defeat ten of them at the same time.]

Leo:

[Got it]

(Ten at the same time? That's a bit relieving to hear. If he were that strong, I might not have to worry about deceiving everyone. Really, I was even considering not moving and let the Guildmaster take the hit)

Suddenly, right at other end of the door. Abby and an old man with a scar on his left eye came out at the same time. The old guy was incredibly big, even bigger than the giant psychopath.

Leo:

Reine:

Bruce:

Leo suddenly whispers to Reine

Leo:

Bruce:

Bruce charged at Leo with his Great Axe, as he was about to hit Leo, he jumped away from it. The axe hit the ground and the impact of it was so great that it released a bit of quake and made a huge hole on the ground.

Bruce:

[Geh! Looks like I missed]

Reine:

[Hey! That was too dangerous!]

(That slash just now, it was not intended for a light spar but a sure kill)

Bruce:

[Shut up! This is my guild and I make the rules. The rule is that this weak, small boy will have to defeat me to pass the test.]

Reine:

[That's absurd! Leo! Just drop your weapon and forfeit!]

Bruce:

[Oh no no no! You can't just leave like that. If he'll ever drop his sword, he'll regret having done it.]

Bruce charged again at Leo as he tried to slash his feet. Leo swiftly jumped backwards and walked away. Bruce leaped at him then he pulled his giant axe and tried to smash him with it. Leo noticed his intent and just faced side ways. The surface of the blade reflected his face as it hits the ground. At that moment Leo backed away.

Bruce:

[Why do you keep running boy! Be a man and face your enemy!]

Bruce tried slashing Leo again as he used his right arm to extend his reach. Leo jumped over the axe, just backing away as usual. Bruce then used the momentum of the axe and shot it towards Leo. After that, Leo bent backwards and let the axe pass over him.

Bruce:

[Hmmm, looks like your good with your feet boy. But is that all you can do!? Abby!]

Abby suddenly threw a gigantic sword towards Bruce as Bruce caught it with his right hand. Leo kept backing away, maintaining his distance from Bruce.

Bruce:

(Ho?)

[I see. So that's your plan]

Leo:

[What do you mean?]

Bruce:

[You've been backing away all this time and never even raised your sword. Boy, you're still inexperienced]

Leo:

(Did he notice?)

[Just get to the point]

Bruce:

Bruce held his great sword with both of his hands then he faced Leo. He put his feet apart then he closed his eyes. Suddenly, an intense smoke-like figure started coming out of his body. His sword started to glow with a silver light.

Reine:

[Oh no...Leo RUN!]

Bruce:

[Too late!]

Bruce slashed his sword to the ground. The shock wave was so strong that it suddenly formed into energy and became a gigantic beast. Every corner of the room started getting destroyed. As the shock wave was about to reach Leo, Reine ran towards him in an attempt to save him.

Leo:

[All right...]

When the gigantic beast reached him, Leo suddenly raised his sword and slashed the beast's chin upwards. Leo's slash created a huge hole on the other side of the building. The gigantic beast was nowhere to be seen. All of those who witnessed what he did opened their mouths in awe as Leo stands in front of them.

Leo:

[O-oh wow, t-that was really hard]

(Nailed it! With that, I think I convinced them)

Everyone looked at Leo with confusion

Leo:
