Leo:
(That was my first ever kill in this world...Just as I thought, every realm in the universe have things like this happening. No place is ever peaceful even if the Gods are merciful)
[...although I'm quite worried about what the Goddess will think about my action. There were tons of ways I would have done in that situation to avoid deaths]

[Leo?]
Leo:
[Yes Mom?]
Andrea:
[Can you come downstairs? Me and your Father have something to talk about regarding your entry at the academy]
Leo:
(The academy? I wonder what might be wrong?)
Leo then went downstairs as he sat in front of a chair facing his parents
Leo:
(By the looks of it, they're quite worried about something)
Andrea:
[Leo, unfortunately, you can't enter the academy]
Leo:
[Well, you did say that I can't enter since I'm too young]
Reynard:
[It's something else. You see, another requirement is that you have to be at least E - rank]
Leo:
[Well, there's no problem in that. I can just raise my rank and enter the academy]
(To be able to rank up, one has to increase his overall power. By reaching the maximum level, one can go through a process called "Breakthrough" wherein the person's Rank can go up)
Andrea looked at Reynard with a worried face
Reynard:
[Leo the thing is, the academy is pretty biased since they are only accepting E - rank mages with at least 3, 000 mana]
Leo:
[Isn't that normal?]
Andrea:
[Huh? No, its not. An E - rank mage with that kind of mana is impossible. That person would have to be a prodigy]
Reynard:
[Normal E - ranks can only attain 2, 000 mana since it's their maximum capacity but in rare cases, if a child was born with more capacity, that child can attain more mana than an average one]
Andrea:
[Meaning, if that child is currently an F - rank. His stats would rival D - ranks.]
Leo:
[So you're saying that only a prodigy can enter the academy?]
Reynard:
[Well, it's not like you can't enter the academy but regarding the speed of your level, it's gonna take a while]
Leo:
(What do I do now? I can't just increase my stats since it'll bring up suspicions)
Reynard:
[Well, not to worry son since we hired a teacher for you]

Andrea:
[Your stats will surely increase and I heard that your teacher is quite young. I'm sure you two will get along just fine]

His parents both smiled at him.
A week later, as Leo was currently eating his breakfast. A knocking was heard from their door.

[Oh looks like your teacher is here]
Leo instantly rushed towards the door. As his mother opened it he got confused and was shocked

[Greetings, my name is Reine Argon from the Dragon kin and I have been tasked to teach your son the ways of magic]
Andrea:
[Ara, I didn't expect that an ancient race of the beastmen came here to teach my son. Well, it's an honour having an important person visit our place]
Reine:
[Please, I am more honoured to be currently in the presence of one of the most powerful mages that served the country]
Andrea:
[My, you're quite good with your words. Are you sure you're really not an adult in disguise?]
Reine:
[No ma'am, I just turned 11 last month]
Suddenly, Reine looked at Leo

As the time passes, Everyone started to enter their rooms. At that time, Reine was the last one to enter hers

Reine:

Leo moved his face closer to Reine's with a glare similar to a predator going for a kill
