Chapter 28: Goblin boss

Eren, Klaus, Rey, and Madi along with their new friend, Crixus entered the black portal…

On the other side of the portal…

It was a large stadium in which a single being sat on a chair. It was looking like a goblin but the size and shape of it didn't suggest it.

If told correctly, it was a huge human of 8m in height having bulky muscles. If not for the green skin, this monster would only be considered an anomaly among humans.

These days, the monster was pretty bored.

"No one is strong as me. I have been bored fighting with the filthy creatures which couldn't even put a dent in me. I am waiting for a strong opponent." The goblin said. Its voice was hoarse.

Then suddenly, it felt the swirling of the back portal. It had never happened before.

It could only mean one thing...

An opponent for him has arrived.

The goblin grinned as it looked forward to seeing its opponent. But was disappointed when it discovered that his opponents were not even half its size. It was only five little ants who have come.

The goblin shook his head in disappointment.

On Eren's side…..

Eren and his friends came out of the back portal only to see a large stadium.

They then looked for each other to confirm that all are in the same place.

"Welcome. Are you my challengers?" The goblin asked even though it did know.

All were surprised at the voice of an unknown person except Eren. He had already sensed the presence of the goblin boss.

All of them looked to the center of the stadium and saw the goblin boss. They were surprised by the sheer size of it.

Eren's friends turned toward him to discuss the plan.

"Who will take the tank?" Asked Madi.

"Hmmm. Since no one is a tank, I will take this role. As I can easily dodge his attacks too." Replied Eren.

"Then, me, Rey, and Klaus will deal with the monster without magic," Madi said.

"I think it is the best. And what about you Crixus?" Eren asked the vampire.

"Me?....hmmm…. I will deal damage both with my magic as well as physical strength. I won't bother you all!" Crixus said.

"You aren't a bother to us. We are happy that a vampire is with us." Eren replied.

"Now, it's battle time!!!!!!!!" Eren said to all to which they nodded.

"We came here to challenge you, the goblin boss," Eren spoke loudly to the goblin sitting in the center of the stadium.

The goblin smiled hearing the bold reply of this puny ant and said.

"Very well. I hope that you won't make me feel bored in a second and give me a good fight."

"We will make sure to kill you!" Eren said in a domineering tone.

The goblin then raised from the seat it was sitting in. It was looking more domineering that when it was sitting.

Eren and his friends took their battle position and Eren attacked first.

"Fire orb!!!" Shouted Eren.

(AN: Yo! As always, my ramblings are here.

I have decided to add names to moves that I could instead of the fireball, lightning bolt, etc.

So my first move.

Fire orb: It is an orb of fire. It is somewhat similar to fire but the concentration of fire elements is greater. It can also travel longer distances and has a fast speed.

I will also be putting AN in every new skill name I use. Plz, do bear it. Thnx.)

The orb of fire shot toward the goblin at high speed. Seeing it, the goblin tried to dodge but was unsuccessful due to its large body.

It's right! The weakness of this dungeon boss was its less agility. It also had a huge body making it a large target to be attacked on.

Now, the full attention of the goblin was on Eren. His friends decided to use this time to rain down as maximum attacks as they can.

"Lightning trident."

(AN:

Lighting trident: it is a trident made of pure lightning. It had high speed and was hard to dodge. Due to being made full of lightning, the damage it caused was also high. It also had a chance to paralyze the target.)

The trident hit the goblin right in his leg making a large amount of blue blood come from it.

The distraction of the goblin allowed Eren, Klaus, and Rey to send all their attacks toward the goblin.

"Fire orb" "fireball"...

There was a rain of attacks on the goblin.

Till now Eren had only used his fire ability in the battle.

As the smoke cleared, they saw the goblin having huge wounds. It was looking like having only 50% of their life left.

Seeing this, Eren decided to use his lightning element.

"Lightning speed"

(AN: I think it is self-explanatory.)

He rapidly closed on to the body of the goblin and used tens of fire orbs.

*Boom* *boom*

The area was devastated. Only the goblin boss stood in the area. His whole left arm was missing. There was also a cut on his chest.

"You made me angry ants! I will now kill you all!!!!" It shouted as its size began to large and its muscles bulged.

It was now 1.5x its previous size and strength. Seeing this the faces of Eren and his friends turned grim.

Now, the person who didn't make a move till now moved...
