Chapter 10

While Azusa and Mr. Toshio were astonished to learn that Kaito was a globally renowned figure, Nanaka, Chisa, emerged from the kitchen and said, "Dinner is ready, we just need to set the table." However, seeing no response, Nanaka looked at both Azusa and her father, noticing their surprise. Curiously, Nanaka asked, "Dad, Azusa, what happened to both of you?"

Upon hearing Nanaka, both Azusa and Toshio snapped out of their astonishment. Azusa told Nanaka, "Nanaka, you won't believe it," and proceeded to tell Nanaka and Chisa who Kaito truly was and how incredible he was. Both Nanaka and Chisa were quite surprised to learn Kaito's true identity.

Nanaka, surprised, said to Kaito, "Kaito-kun, I had no idea you were such an important person." Chisa nodded, also surprised to have such a prominent figure before them at that moment. Nanaka had always had a feeling that Kaito was someone special based on everything he had shown so far, but she never imagined it would be to this extent.

Kaito responded with a calm smile, "It's nothing, just some projects I've been working on with my father. But more importantly, I'm eagerly looking forward to trying your cooking." Upon hearing this, everyone thought he was too modest; he was much more incredible than he made himself out to be.

Nanaka, upon hearing about the food, said, "Oh, right, the food. I'll bring it in a moment." After saying this, she went to the kitchen to fetch the food with Chisa, while Azusa quickly set the table for dinner.

Once the food arrived, everyone sat down at their respective places and served themselves. They all said "Itadakimasu" and began to enjoy their respective dishes.

Azusa was the first to serve herself, her eyes shining as she said to Nanaka, "Nanaka, you've outdone yourself this time, it's delicious." Mr. Toshio nodded with a smile, as did Chisa. Upon hearing the compliments, Nanaka responded with a smile, "I'm glad you all liked it."

Then, she looked at Kaito, who elegantly tasted the food and, nodding repeatedly, said, "Truly, you're a wonderful cook, Nanaka, the food is more than delicious." Nanaka replied with a big smile, "I'm really glad you enjoyed it so much, Kaito-kun."

Azusa nodded in agreement with Kaito's compliments and looked back at Nanaka with a smile, "I must say, Nanaka, it's very impressive how much you've improved in cooking over the years." Interested, Kaito asked Azusa, "Oh, how was Nanaka-san's cooking before?"

Upon hearing Kaito's question, Nanaka became very nervous and looked at Azusa as if asking her not to tell Kaito how it used to be with the food. Azusa noticed Nanaka's look and smiled at her with a cat-like grin, making Nanaka even more nervous.

Azusa turned her gaze back to Kaito and said with a smile, "Well, let's just say Nanaka wasn't exactly such a good cook before." Upon reflection, those were very dark times for many Peek-a-Boo members.

Kaito, with a small smile, replied, "It couldn't have been that bad, right?" Azusa looked at Kaito and thought to herself, "If only you knew." Azusa nervously laughed and said, "Yes, it wasn't so bad." Seeing Azusa's nervous look, Kaito immediately knew it was much worse than he thought.

But then he turned to Nanaka, who was nervous, and said with a warm smile, "Anyway, no matter how bad you were before, what matters is that you tried to improve with such effort and dedication. You managed to get to where you are now, and from my point of view, that deserves all my respect."

Nanaka blushed upon hearing Kaito's words and said to Kaito, "T-Thank you so much for such beautiful words, Kaito-kun." The others at the table nodded at Kaito's words, acknowledging all the effort Nanaka had put in to become such a good cook.

During dinner, they continued to talk about different topics and asked Kaito about his life. He shared a little about his daily life and told them some funny anecdotes, which made everyone laugh.

After finishing the meal, Nanaka prepared to wash the dishes, to which Kaito said, "Let me help you, I insist." Seeing Kaito's insistence, Nanaka nodded with a smile, so the two of them washed the dishes while chatting harmoniously and laughing. Seeing their interaction, the others thought anyone would think they were a newlywed couple. Mr. Toshio was reminded of himself with his wife and wondered how she was doing at that moment.

As for Azusa, she thought to herself, "They look so good together." Meanwhile, Chisa watched her sister and thought, "I like how good they look together. They have my full support if they want to start dating." Chisa began to fantasize about her life if Nanaka married Kaito. In Chisa's imagination, she could see Kaito giving her sister the latest diving equipment, which made Chisa's mouth water. Thinking about it, Kaito was a very good match for her sister: he was kind, helpful, and not arrogant because he was rich. Nodding continuously, Chisa said to herself, "I'll help them be together, all for Onee-chan's sake."
