Old playbook
A woman in her 50s looking around the alley waiting for something, as soon as she spotted the Aston Martin across the street, she hurriedly approaching the car and opening the door to enter. Not wasting time, the car drove off leaving the alley heading southbound to the outskirt of the city.
"Did she say anything?"
"She doesn't, i don't think she knows, because if she does, that brat will not be quiet" Francesca focus on her driving and once in a while looking at the rearview mirror to see if anyone following her. She has pissed Matthew by promising Helena for the banquet and now Helena even refuse to go.
"You need to stop meddling in my business!!" Francesca screams at her mother next to her at the passenger seat.
"I am sorry! i need the money and i thought it will be an easy ransom" Lorraine defending herself.
"Are you gambling again??" She brakes her car at the side of the road and grab her mother on her cheek squeezing it hard.
"Fran! Let me go....I promise i won't do it again!" Tears streaming down her cheek. She knew Francesca temper all too well.
Letting Lorraine's cheek go, she shoved her to the side until her shoulder knocked on the door. All Lorraine can do is to silently wince in pain since she almost ruined Francesca's idea.
"Do not contact me, until i contact you first. You know the rules! i cannot be seen with you!!, do you understand? That B...ch is getting hard to manipulate and insult." Her anger is directed on Lorraine from the morning incident where Helena repeatedly calling her bastards and Matthew would not stop harassing her over Helena's matter.
He threatens to expose her for her status and her schemes. She vows to ruin everyone once she marries into the Anderson family.
"AAARRGHHHH" She smacked the steering wheel ignoring Lorraine that is still scared of her.
Composing herself back, she turned to her mother and smiled.
"You need to lay low at the village, i will send money to you monthly, you cannot be here."
Nodding in agreement, Lorraine was sent to the nearest bus station so she can leave the city for temporarily. Francesca is not playing games when it comes about her wanting to be part of the richest clan. She befriends Miranda Teo since she heard the Patriarch and Matriarch Anderson take an interest in her.
From what she gathers, she can tell Daniel is not paying any attention to her. She can't bribe any Maids or Gardener at the Anderson Manor; they are all loyal to their Employer. However, she found a loophole by giving advice to Miranda and watching her do it and letting her know if it works or not. From what she gathers Daniel seems to not like certain things and particular about everything. A man with a class!
She is a patient person that do not mind waiting, she has been waiting for few years and this year she needed it badly since she can't wait to trample over Helena. Regardless of how she wanted to be excelled in anything, people seem to forget that as soon as they sees Helena.
Her phone ding confirming her appointment for a dress fitting today, she chooses a velvet material to show and define her maturity but also keeping her innocent images and politeness. This will be the best focal point for a rich family, they prefer a classy and elegant daughter in law. Something that Helena is lacking since she is too spoil.
The only thing she never have to worry is about Helena being the center of attentions at The Anderson Manor. She is a loud bully, brainless woman that will always get drunk on any occasions. Every third generations rich knew exactly how she behaves when she sees alcohol. Francesca on the other hand will always be the one "cleaning up" after her and allow herself to be bullied. Most guys felt bad for her, but woman despise her since they claim Francesca is pretentious towards her own sister.
Pocketing her phone back inside her purse, she watched for Lorraine to enter the bus before driving off to head back to the city and tried her dress that she has been custom ordered few months ago. She knew Helena will show up in Shocking Pink dress like a child and made a fool out of herself again.
One of the maid overheard that Helena will be attending the banquet alone, so Francesca has informed Matthew about it. One less thing to worry about, so she can focus of her plan.
Looking at the dress, she is more than satisfied, its absolutely gorgeous!
"Ms Lee, this dress is definitely made for you!" The staff at the boutique could not stop complimenting Francesca.
"You think so?," She knew she looks good, but she felt wonderful fishing for compliments.
"Yes of course! i am soo jealous of Ms Lee, not only you manage a company, you are smart and beautiful, a total package"
Francesca smiled in satisfaction confident she will be noticed.
Her plan is to talk to every investor, and make her look like a credible woman in everyone's eyes therefore earning her points as a independent woman yet gentle and respectful. She needed to be on Gianna Anderson's list of candidates. Miranda mention this once to her.
