Treasure Hunt (2) 

On the roof of Gotham Museum of Antiquities.

"A museum? We are gonna rob from an old museum?" Selina says, still clinging to me as I brought her down.

"It's not about money, I need an item for a specific use … now go and see if you can pick that lock" I patted Selina's ass and got a feel.

She punched me playfully, giving me a look and went towards the roof gate.

"Are all 10 year old aliens as horny as you or are you a special case?" She asked while opening up the lock with what looked like a hairpin.

I had told her that I am an alien and after mastering flight I had taken her to the sky more than once. She even knew my real name and that I lived on a farm in Kansas with my parents.

I had invited her multiple times to my home to meet them, even told her that she could live with me, and my parents would love to have her, but she kept dodging the subject.

I could have done today's robbery on my own, it wouldn't have been as clean but I would have managed. But I like spending time with her, maybe because she was the first girl who knew about my secret and my first kiss too.

I just went ahead through the door of the museum's roof and went down, telling Selina to follow me quietly.

It's still 2002 so there are no security cameras inside the museum, and this Gotham museum hasn't been robbed yet so the security is quite lax.

I could easily make out where the night guards were and avoided them with Selina in tow. She suddenly stopped in front of a knife which had what looked like a gold handle with a sphinx face on it's bolster.

"Is this real gold?" She asks in a hushed voice.

I hug her from the back and speak in her ear while looking at the knife. " That is called the Time knife, forget about gold, it can basically open portals to another time"

"You are kidding me, this ugly thing? … why not steal it then?" she said, still not believing me entirely and not minding my abrupt hug at all.

"Because, it's unstable and can create those portals without any wielder too … c'mon what I want to find is not far from here." I said, dragging her away from the knife.

The museum was very big and we had to take some detours to avoid the night patrol but we reached our target smoothly.

We stood in front of a glass cabinet. Inside there was a big bronze glove, with a red orb on the back of it. The orb had an egyptian eye drawn in black. There was a green wing like design on the wrist part of the glove.

Seeing this glove I had flashbacks of Thanos snapping his fingers with the infinity gauntlet on.

"Can you please pick this lock too?" I looked at Selina with the best puppy dog eye I could manage. She proudly stepped forward and picked the glass lock in a minute.

I took the glove in my hands and checked to see if it wasn't fake and kept it in the bag which I had brought.

I hugged her and went back to the roof fast while hovering. And then I brought her back to her house.

She kept asking me what it was that we stole, I just said an egyptian artifact and promised that I would tell everything next week.

After telling her not to go out at late nights in Gotham , we hugged saying our goodbyes, as it was getting late and mom would start worrying.

As I was hurrying back, I couldn't believe how easy tonight was. They would surely increase the security after tonight's robbery.

What I stole is called the Claw of Horus, which was created during the 19th dynasty of ancient egypt. It was created from the Nth metal or the ninth metal recovered from a downed Thanagarian ship.

The claw was created by Nabu the Wise, a cosmic being of limitless power. Right now his spirit resides in the helmet of fate and he is the source of Doctor Fate's great power.

This claw has many powers including the ability to disrupt other forms of Nth metal items, shoot energy blasts powerful enough to destroy a street in a single blast.

It can draw power from Earth's magnetic core and you can hit someone with the force of a planet, which ironically was used on the original Superman in comics.

Yikes that punch must have hurt alot, well at least now it's with me so I won't be punched by it.

But the main reason I stole this claw is because it can guide you to other Hawkman related artifacts.

I will have to wake up early tomorrow as I have to go to far Egypt for some grave digging ... I mean another treasure hunt.
