Let's go home." Alex grabs Aella hand and started walking toward the city.

Mm." Aella just nodded and followed him, allowing him to drag her.

Aella looked at the Alex who is taking deep breaths and struggling while walking.

Looking at Alex struggling to walk Aella asked in worry. " Are you really OK."

Alex stopped and looked at the red hair girl who is clearly worried about his health.

Looking at her Alex smiled, patting her head Alex said." Don't worry I am just feeling tired because of the mana exhaustion."

Feeling a hand on her head Aella closed her eyes and just nodded with beautiful smile.

Walking through the dark forest in the middle of the night Alex and Aella didn't talk too much with each other they just made their way out of the forest.

After 15 minutes walk Alex saw lights of the city in distance from the forest.

Looking at the light's Alex sighed in relief,

He didn't want Aella to be afraid because he was already scared no matter what he just finished his first hardest fight in his life and he didn't have any mana left in his body,

What if some beast attack them when he didn't have many mana left in his body, thinking about that possibility his body shuddered slightly.

Now that he saw a light that coming from the city, Alex sighed in relief and thanks his lucky star that they didn't encounter any beast's in their way to the city.

Alex sighed one last time and turned to his left side to tell Aella to walk hurry before they encounter any wild beast.

Alex opened his mouth to talk with Aella but he closed it immediately, when his senses start screaming at him.

Danger'

That thought came to his mind, trusting his senses he pushed Aella aside as fast as he could and used his skill to cover himself with barrier.

[ LIGHT BARRIER ]

White light started to covered Alex entire body forming barrier around him, when the light barrier covered him,

Beam made of the darkness attribute collided at him making his light barrier crack in several places and pushing him all the way to back in the forest like a Canon ball destroying everything in his way.

When Alex stopped himself from the impact of the attack at the distance, he felt his all the bones in his body are crushed.

Blood drips from his head making him dizzy.

COUGH COUGH

when Alex stood up blood started to flow out of his mouth as he forced himself for his bearings, He realized that attack hurt his internal organs.

Looking down at his body Alex saw many wounds on him, clothes that he was wearing were torn apart leaving only his jeans.

Standing up Alex bit his lips to not to lose his consciousness due to pain he is feeling in the head.

Biting his lips Alex looked at the light barrier that was destroyed like piece of paper.

Meanwhile Aella who was pushed aside by Alex came out of the senses, when she saw Alex wounded body.

" Alex!. " She screamed at top of her lungs and run towards the wounded Alex.

She didn't know what happened, five seconds ago she was walking with Alex in happy mood.

She just felt Alex pushed her aside and the next thing she know was Alex standing at the distance with wound's on his all body coughing blood from his mouth.

Hearing Aella scream Alex came to his senses and yelled at Aella.

" RUN "

He didn't know which beast attack them, but he knew his chances are low.

Looking at the barrier that now has several cracks in it, he surely confirmed that whichever beast attack them it surely stronger then Alex.

He didn't know he have a chance in winning this fight, that's why he asked Aella to run as soon as he came to his senses.

Alex know if he can't win this fight with the beast he will surely die, that's why if he is going to die at least save Aella...

He didn't know when he started to fond of Aella company in this new life of him, but he surely know that if anything happened to Aella he will not able to forgive himself.

Are you alright." Aella who rushed towards him asked in worried tone when she reached closer to him.

Looking at the wounds on the Alex body, Aella eyes turned red and thought in her mind.

' All because of me, if he didn't pushed me and simply dodged the attacked he should able to get away without getting any injury.'

Looking at the Aella who is looking at his wounds with daze expression, he know she is blaming herself again so he rise his hand and flicked on her forehead.

Ouuch' Aella grimced in pain and rub her forehead.

Don't worry they will heal any way." Alex said while drinking healing potion he took from his inventory.

When he drink the healing potion the wounds on Alex body started to heal instantly.

Alex sighed and said "why are you here? I told you to run not come here."

Aella didn't know how to respond hearing slightly angry voice of Alex, tears threatened to come from her eyes and she just lowered her head.

Alex sighed and rises his hand and place at Aella head and start to ruffle her hairs and said.

" OK OK don't cry I am sorry."

I'm not crying." Aella replied pushing Alex hand on her head away,

Suddenly Alex summon his sword and stood in front of Aella.

Earlier the beast attack them from away that's why they have time to talk.

Now looking at the Alex, Aella knew that which beast attack them coming closer to them, so she immediately take some steps back giving Alex some space.

Alex tensed up when he felt presence near them.

Looking at the bushes Alex said " come out I know you hiding there."

After few seconds the beast walk out of the beast.

Oh you can feel my presence," the beast said in some what childish voice.

Hearing the beast talk Alex felt cold rushed in his spine and started to sweat crazily.

Before he had guess that the beast attack them is stronger then him but now hearing the beast talk he knew for sure that the beast is stronger then him.

Alex look at the dark beast which look like wolf but it size is almost 15 to 16 feet.

Looking at the wolf Alex used his appraisal skill and was stunned.
