Reincarnated As Muichiro Tokito

What happens when someone reincarnates as Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer, but things in this world are different from the original story. Please note I'm just writing this for fun. P.S: English is my 3rd language so there will be quite a few of mistakes but it should be readable. [Cover is not mine] Discord: https://discord.gg/7Zws4xjx8T

*Flashback*

"Iguro-sama, you have a message." A kakushi said, bowibg his head to the Serpent Hashira sitting on a bench.

Iguro looked at the kakushi and frown a bit, well, he had his mask on so the kakushi wasn't aware of this. Iguro had very few people that would send him any type of letter.

If The Master wanted to speak to him, then a kakushi would be sent but not with a letter. Of course if he was on a mission then his crow would tell him.

His fellow Pillars would also send his letters, well, most of them did.

"Who sent it?" Iguro asked, taking the letter away.

The kakushi stiffen a bit. "It is from another Hashira. I will take me leave." They said standing up straight, them walking away from the masked man.

Iguro hummed softly opening the letter. His snake, Kaburamaru also looked down at the letter, interested in what it what was written. Iguro opened it envelope and took out a piece of paper.

{Dear Igure, this is your flamboyant comrade here! I requested that you come to the tree next to the lack near Mitsuri-san's estate. It's nothing bad, no need to worry.

- Tengen Uzui}

"This isn't even that brutes hand writing, its too neat." Iguro said already walking to Mitsuri's estate. He didn't know why Tengen want to speak to him, no, it probably wasn't even Tengen to begin with.

The kakushi just said it was from another Hashira, he didn't specify who. Iguro found it all odd, a kakushi wouldn't say it was from another Hashira if it wasn't, which means a Pillar sent it.

Iguro wondered why they would say it was from Tengen. It also made sense why they didn't just send their crow, then Iguro would know who sent the letter. Whoever it was, wished to keep it a secret.

Iguro looked at the letter again, his steps hastened. The letter was written in kanji, with almost perfect spacing between the characters. Most of the Pillars had good handwriting, with expectation of The Stone Pillar.

Tengen's handwriting was complete garbage, but it wasn't good either. Iguro wanted to see what was going on since he didn't have anything to do, missions have slower down a bit for all the Pillars.

Going out and looking for demons to kill is just stupid. Demons can pop in anywhere at anytime, so going out and looking wouldn't be very fruit-full. They just had to wit and see.

Iguro would go visit Mitsuri, but she was spending time with Shinobu and Gyomei that day, and he didn't want to interrupt them. Iguro just hoped he wouldn't get involved with some bullshit, unfortunately for him, fate had other plans. Well, maybe no fate, more like three bored Hashiras.

After some time, Iguro was standing under a tree right next to a lack. The man sighed, he's been waiting for a few minutes now, but nothing. No one showed up, he was starting to think someone was just trying to waste his time.

'This was a stupid idea, I should just leave–'

"Good damnit! Stop ignoring me you weakling! I asked you a question!" Iguro looked behind him and was met with a sight he has seem many, many times. Sanemi was walking next to Giyuu, yelling at the Water Hashira.

Giyuu paid the man no mind and just treated him as if he was air, probably less than that even. Sanemi gritted his teeth in anger.

"Why don't you answer my damn question!?"

"Because it is a dumb question." Giyuu said calmly, still not looking to the side of him. His gaze was fixed on the floor most of the time with him looking up occasionally.

"How was my question dumb?!"

"You asked me why we were asked to meet up here, I gave me you my letter which was written very similar to yours. Tell me, if I knew why we were needed, why would I need a letter. Wouldn't I already know?"

"That's a bullshit reason!"

"No, it's just a sensible one." Giyuu mumbled. "I guess your drain doesn't work in a sensible way, so it's understandable."

"What did you say?! Come on, say it so my face?!"

"No, I don't think I will."

Iguro stood there, wishing he had never even opened the letter, because now he had to deal with those two. He groaned wondering if he should leave or not, and he almost ended up doing just that.

However, he had invented his time into this. The man at least wanted to see where things will go before he dips and goes to find something else to do. He knew he was bound to get a headache dealing with those two.

Iguro wanted to just get this over with before he gets bragged into an argument about something useful.

"Did you two also reason a letter?" He asked.

Giyuu and Sanemi stopped with their bantering and looked at him in unison. Giyuu nodded while Sanemi scoffed.

"What's it to you–"

"Yes, we did." Giyuu interrupted Sanemi for maybe the eighth time since they started to argue.

Sanemi gritted his teeth trying to hold himself back from turning Giyuu into a puddle.

Iguro sighed and frowned a few seconds later having felt someone else's presences. He look up and saw Muichiro drinking something out of a white and gold tea cut.

'Tsk. Why is he so good at hiding his presences?' Iguro clicked his tongue. The other two Pillars next to him also had similar thoughts.

Muichiro just sat there, in a tree drank, sipping on his tea. It wasn't milk tea this time, mostly because he couldn't find that one kakushi that made his milk tea when Mitsuri wasn't around. He looked down at the mint tea with low expectations.

But he was wrong, it wasn't complete garbage. Close second to milk tea, maybe he'll grow more fund of it overtime.

"Why was I here? I feel like that should be my catchphrase." Muichiro mumbled. He said that line so much it was practically apart of him.

He snapped his fingers and gulped down the rest before hopped off the tree.

"Where are those idiots?" Muichiro said looking around. He walked around the tree and saw Tengen and Kyojuro crouching behind it doing God knows what. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, uh." Tengen spoke trying to think of a good excuse. "We were just going over the plan."

"Yes, that!" Kyojuro nodded in agreement. The boy just stared at them knowing damn well they were talking about something stupid.

He sighed and walked in front of Iguro. Kyojuro and Tengen followed him with big grins of their faces. Sanemi being Sanemi, was about to yell at them but stopped when he got something.

It wasn't just him, Iguro and Giyuu got the exact same gift. Cakes to their faces, by non other than Muichiro, Kyojuro, and Tengen.

Yep, that was their grant plan. Muichiro looked at Tengen and said "Where were you even keeping them?"

"Don't ask questions–"

"You bastards!"

Tengen and Kyojuro flinched when they heard Sanemi's yell. They looked to the side but say a certain boy missing. Muichiro was already running for it, he had done his part. Now they were on their own.

He may of not been the fastest of the Hashiras, but he was on his way to be the quietest. He could run very long distances without making a sound, plus his innate talent at hiding his presence.

He looked behind him and say Iguro chasing him.

'Uh, where should I go? Why did I not think of this before hand, oh yeah, because I probably would if forgotten.'

*Flashback End*

"And the rest is history." Muichiro said stuffing his face with mochi.

"M-Mui, why would you do that? T-That's mean." Mitsuri said trying to stop herself from laughing, but she failed.

Shinobu sat there snickering and covering her mouth with a tea cup while Himejima just shook his head.

"Mui, why didn't you come find me if you had nothing to do. Why didn't you just relax with your cats?" Mitsuri asked.

Muichiro blink. "Well, I didn't want to intrude on the private time of others." That was a lie. He just didn't want to intrude of Mitsuri's down time, he didn't care all that much about the others.

He would crash a party and blame it on the host before walking out, not without taking majority of the food.

Muichiro continued. "And my kittens have been sleeping a lot lately, so I didn't want to bother them... Hm?" Muichiro looked up and saw Ginko.

She landed on his shoulder making him frown a bit. He wasn't expecting a mission today, but at least he wouldn't be bored now.

"Muichiro-sama! Go south! Go south! Demons have been sighted near a city! Go with Love Hashira!"

'Eh? Why would that need to send two Pillars, unless it's a Kizuki. I doubt it though. Meh, it's not a big deal I guess. It probably will be but I'll deal with it later.'
