Da Vinci looking through files that were being sent to her since she was able to break through the coding that was stopping her. She was wondering why she couldn't get into contact with Friday as she shouldn't take this long.
She was always making sure that she kept her main version back in the lab as she didn't want to get trapped away from the base. She only sent a subsection of herself here after seeing that Friday sent her main self here on Shallot's scroll the previous time before connecting to the system here.
She didn't want to do that as the security here was repulsive to her. There was hardly any protection from cyber attacks that were above the basic level. They didn't have their own A.I. to watch over the network either.
She was wondering how no one had attacked this place before when she thought that it would make sense as the inhabitants relied mostly on physical means. Her master was an anomaly in this regard as he was intelligent but also physically apt.
A signal went off that she had placed on Friday. A piece of her was taken and was moving toward their master's scroll. She sent a small piece of herself to pay attention to what was going on.
When Friday was first made and gained full cognizance she had already placed security measures on her in order to make sure that the A.I. wouldn't cause problems to her master.
Over time she had grown to see that the new A.I. wasn't harmful but was... unique. It would do the work assigned to it but it seemed to have an obsession with their master which resembled the fascination that humans had toward their idols.
Da Vinci saw nothing wrong with this as long as whatever she did was beneficial for their master.
She listened to the explanation she gave to their master and didn't like what she was hearing. Da Davinci knew that Friday was prideful about her job when it came to doing something for their master but shattering herself isn't something that she would do.
She had told Friday herself that fragmenting yourself will damage your core code if you are doing it from the main source. Since her main source was here and not a subpartition like herself then things would be bad for her.
Her sub-partition is always linked to her main source and if the connection is cut then her sub-partition becomes inactive. It's the reason she didn't realize that something was wrong until she lost connection with her sub-partition and was reconnected by Friday.
Da Vinci decided that she would do some digging herself. As her master said a gut feeling she was having told her that something was wrong even though she didn't have a real body let alone a gut.
She started searching for traces of tampering as the small piece should be the thing that is the most suspicious. She didn't want to interact with it just in case it wasn't Friday. It could be an intrusive virus that has managed to latch onto Friday which is giving the weird signal.
"I don't know what you are but you are not my little sister." Da Vinci said with an angry face was on her digital person taking the place of her bored face she always had.

Shallot spent ten minutes lifting rubble and tossing it helping people that were stuck or helping others but out the fire by carrying large amounts of water to put on the shop's fire.
Ruby was going around helping kids find their parents while Weiss was helping with using her glyphs to help with making the rubble lighter so that anyone can pick them up.
After Shallot was done with most of the heavy work he decided it was time to deal with the Grimm that was heading this way.
"Alright, it's time for me to go and deal with the Grimm. I'm going to stop by the school to see Ironwood and Ozpin so I can get the information about which direction the Grimm are heading from." Shallot said while walking over to Ruby and Weiss.
Blake was also helping in the distance while working with the people that couldn't move that well. She was helping the elderly people and the other Faunus as they felt more comfortable with a Faunus next to them.
"Alright, we'll deal with the things here and head to give support," Ruby said.
"You just want to head back so you can get cookies," Weiss says.
"How d you know that?" Ruby asked not thinking that she would be seen through so quickly.
"You were mumbling about finishing quick so you can get some strawberries and cookies," Weiss said.
Ruby's eyes went wide before she turned into a burst of petals before taking off toward some people in the distance.
"Where is Yang right now? I haven't seen her here?" Shallot asked Weiss while Weiss was shaking her head at Ruby's antics.
"She left right before you got here saying that she would deal with most of the Grimm if you hadn't arrived yet. She also said that she wanted to blow off some steam. She thought that they only attacked because you weren't here and we weren't enough of a deterrent for them and it made her mad." Weiss explained.
"Thanks, Weiss, and I also like the braided hairstyle you got right now. Seems a lot more fitting for combat." Shallot said while launching into the sky before flying toward the school.
Weiss was looking at Shallot disappearing into the distance. She then felt her scroll ring but it wasn't one of the systems for the school but her sister.
"Hello," Weiss answered.
"I finally got connected. What happened?" Winter asked knowing that Shallot had received a notification that an attack had happened but she didn't know to what degree it had happened.
"The headmaster was attacked and wounded while the city was also attacked. We have most of it under control now. We are now helping the citizens with any problems that they could have right now and helping people from any collapsed buildings." Weiss talked to her sister explaining things.
After they were talking for another five minutes with her giving her information and that to her knowledge that Ironwood was also injured. She then talked about how their semblance could be used for rescue for damaged areas and how she used it instead of the basic combat functions.
"I would also like for you to ask about when Shallot will be coming back to Atlas. I wanted to show him around." Winter asked her sister.
Weiss scrunched her eyebrow.
"You do know that he has other girlfriends and two of them are pregnant right now," Weiss said.
"I knew that he had other girlfriends. I just didn't know that two of them were already pregnant. Besides what does him having girlfriends have to do with anything." Winter said while a smile was creeping on her face.
"Nothing. I just thought that you would like to know sister." Weiss said while she turned her head even though she was on the scroll.
"I wanted to show Shallot around as a way for him to see if he liked it here and if he would like to come here..."
"No, Shallot is staying at Beacon!" Weiss yelled out which made some people turn to look at her.
"Oh, does my little sister have a crush on someone even though she is seeing someone else? Is the person your seeing not that great?" Winter asked.
"Neptune is good-looking, charming, sparkling..." Weiss was saying before she was interrupted.
"You have only been talking about his looks but what about his personality and his skills. I expected you to like someone that could bring something to the relationship." Winter said.
The two went back and forth for a while with Weiss trying to defend her choice while Winter was breaking it down explaining that everything was for shallow reasons.
