Chapter 54: Qian'er

I arrived at my lab with the human tras- no. No trash isn't enough to describe him, trash can be used to recycle or be used as fertilizer. He's below that.

Ignoring the struggling fool, I bought a bed and placed the little girl down after clothing her, there was some blood at her crotch it seems I was too late to save her. Thinking back to what the bastard did.

I felt vomit rising from my throat I immediately pushed the memory down, but I couldn't get out of my head. I walked out leaving the little girl as I walked into another room, the memory kept coming back.

I drew my head back *Slam! Slam! Slam! Slam!* and continuously slammed my head into the wall of my laboratory, soon tears filled my eyes as I bit my lips. *Slam! Slam! Slam! Slam!* I gritted my teeth as blood flowed down my head.

"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT!!!" Why can't that image of her just disappear!" I looked to my hands and fell to the floor, before feeling a licking sensation at my face and the soft cooing from Ignis as he nuzzled against my thigh.

"You two felt my emotions didn't you?" I looked down before petting them. 'It's okay we're here father.' said Ignis with our connection, i just smiled lightly and petted him. "You guys used the emergency eject sequence in the cube just to comfort me. Thank you." I thank them.

'No problem master, even though you killed my mother you took me in anyway and raised and loved me. I thank you for that, you could've killed are abandoned me. Thank you.' Said Fenrir.

"Alright that's enough moping you guys. It's time we get some rest."

- The next morning -

Waking up the little girl looked at a ceiling she couldn't recognize, as she got up she found herself in clothes unknown to her. She was wearing a red bunny onsie. She looked at her hands and the memories flooded in of the night before she hugged her legs and began crying.

In a single day she had both of her parents killed right in front of her.

"So you woke up." Said the voice of Ken Hai. As he walked in the little girl looked at him her eyes red and tears flowing down them. She immediately became scared. "W-who are you?" she asked, she knew she couldn't do anything if he wanted to hurt but after what she just went through it'd be best she be on guard.

"My name is Ken Hai, I saved you last night." I replied I took a chair and sat down at her bed side. "I'm sorry I couldn't save your mother, I should've-"

"No, this is fine this is normal. Us mortals we can't cultivate so it's better for us just to die. This is normal." She says as with smile, but it was anything but happy, tears and snot were flowing down her face.

"No it isn't! No child deserves to have their parents murdered in front of them!" I said with rage evident in my voice. "You don't deserve this!" I walked up to her and gaver her a hug. As she continued crying in my arms.

- A bit later -

"What's your name?" I asked her. "My name is Qian'er." Right mortals don't have a surname and normally cultivators change their name when they enter a sect or clan, like my mother. And yes a mortal couple can have cultivator children, it happened a couple times in Soothing River city.

But why can a mortal couple have a child that's able to cultivate and even cultivator couple can have a mortal child. I wonder?

"Hey Qian'er may you give me your arm I want to check on something, she did so without hesitation. I placed two fingers on her arm and sent a pulse of qi throughout her body, I then saw her martial veins and my suspicions were right. They were narrow, so narrow my qi couldn't even fit inside of it, I then checked her dantian and saw it was the same narrow and closed off.

But I now know why mortals couldn't cultivate. Their martial veins are so narrow when they try to absorb martial energy, it can't circulate properly due to how narrow it is and not only that the rate at which they absorb it is incredibly slow, due to said narrowness.

I wonder? I have used Yang qi to heal myself before well speed up the process, if I can manipulate the body aspect of yang qi. No! I can't experiment on her she's nothing but a innocent child.

I'll have to find a mortal who's a piece of shit.

- Later -

I left a clone with Qian'er, I asked her if she wanted me to hand in her to a kind clan lord or stay with me she choose me. I guess I now have kid to raise. All I need to now is find a mortal that's a piece of shit then run a couple experiments on them, my clones are already dealing with the piece of shit.

I'll send out a couple more clones to act as Batman at a couple more cities after the sect meet.
