'System can you tell me about Awakening?'

[Notice: Awakening is the event where children of beings of human descent fully adapt to the influence of the system. This awakens their first class [beginner] a class that allows the restricted use of the system to prepare children for specialized classes. User doesn't have to worry about this since she was born through unique means]

' So why don't I have a class?'

[Notice: User was born completely integrated with the system because of this trial was deemed unnecessary and not given.]

' I see, so how do I get a class'

[Notice: User can get a class from the use of class stones, a gift from the gods to help mortals change class. They can be most commonly found at churches and guilds as almost all have one.]

" Well whatever, let's just get her identification" Jacklyn says and we continue walking towards the church, and I begin my vocal training once again. It was fun at first but now it's just annoying, unfortunately I'm committed and not talking is more inconvenient than one might think.

[Universal language (Lv8-- lv9)]

We arrive at the church and it is exactly what you would expect from a fantasy world. A tall majestic white building with thin golden accents adding to it's Majesty but still having a more modest look, a sight almost as surreal as the City walls and gate. As we enter we're greeted by a large room with two massive curved stairways crossing behind an enormous statue of a god. The room other than that had a few corridors leading elsewhere, and a few other statues, paintings, and artworks placed symmetrically along the center and fringes of the room. After admiring the room, I realize the others were talking to a large man in white robes and I heard loud noises coming from them but couldn't tell what they were talking about. I approach the group and the man in white, sees me, and begins to speak to me in a loud dramatic way.

"Ah, YOU must be the one here for the TOKEN OF IDENTIFICATION! Then PLEASE miss follow ME!" He stated and spun around and departed. Startled by his loud eccentricity that somehow made our lively Jacklyn seem normal. I almost miss him as he turns a corner down a corridor on the left.

"NOW, dearchild PLEASE enter this ROOM and place your HAND on the ORB you find. THE IDENTIFICATION CREATION process will only take a FEW minutes so I shall WAIT until you finish."

As the door shuts I think to myself, 'Well that was weird, anyways he told me to place my hands on the Orb. That's it? Ok then.'

I walk to the orb sitting on a pedestal in the center of the room and place my hands on it as I was told. As I do this two screens appear In front of me one being my status sheet and the others being a list of classes.

~Outside the door~ (3rd person POV)

Time passed while our priestly friend, waited for the return of our beloved main character, until another Priest turn down the hallway walking towards him.

" Hello Jasper" A young lady, in similar clothes to our favorite eccentric priest, greets him.

" Well HELLO to you TOO miss Arialle!" Jasper replied in his usual manner

"May I ask what you are up to Jasper?"

" AH, I am HELPING a small child get another TOKEN OF IDENTIFICATION!"

" ... Jasper, you are aware, that is the class change room correct?" She replied in an amused tone.

" I'm SORRY Arialle but you are MISTAKEN this is the IDENTIFICATION room. I clearly remember the directions. TWO TURNS, ONE LEFT, FROM THE MAIN HALL DOWN THE THIRD CORRIDOR AND ONE RIGHT, FIVE DOORS DOWN!"

"You are correct, but I do believe your second turn for the door is not this right but, your other right." Arialle stated while pointing across the hall to a door with an engraving that reads 'Identification Room'

Looking back at the door he brought the small child into that has 'Class Change Room' written on the door he apologizes to Arialle and opens the door to guide the child to the correct room.

'I finally know why he said this would take forever. I didn't realize getting my ID would also include a class' I thought to myself

' Oh, well then why did I get sent here? Guess it doesn't matter I needed a class change anyways' I then proceeded to start the long process of attempting to chose a class.

After going over every class with the help of my system I narrowed down the classes to two [Beginner Void Mage] and [Black Cat] The void mage is the best stat wise and allows for the most increase to what I already have and Black Cat has Some interesting abilities. I'm also curious as to what the [Lucky Box] is.

As I am attempting to decide on a class the door behind me opens.

"Dearchild, I APOLOGISE for the INCONVENIENCE but it appears I brought you to the WRONG room. PLEASE follow me to the CORRECT room this time."

He approached me to come take my hand so I quickly select a class.

With that we travel across the hall into the correct Door. And I follow the same steps. Place my hand on the orb, be left alone in a room, same as before only this time as I put my hands on the orb a Glass Pane appears in front of me as my name, race, class, gender, age, and an assortment of other private information are all ever so slowly carved into the surface. When My age is carved into the glass I am shocked.

' Ten!?' I think to myself ' System can you tell me why it says I am ten?'

' I look like a six year old! Does that mean that Cat Beastman are naturally smaller?'

[Negative, user is just short]

Ignoring the annoying system I continue watching the glass and sing to myself in hopes of being able to talk.

After minutes watching glass ever so slowly chip itself away, the pane turns black and shrinks into a small token attached to a crystal chain necklace , almost identical to the blank dog tag like things I saw at the City entrance except mine was on the shape of a star. It then appears around my neck, hidden underneath the Coat I borrowed from Blake yesterday.

Exiting the room I was then taken to another room where the others were waiting. In the room were Jacklyn, Grant, Blake, and another Priest but his robes were gray not white.

"My, APOLOGIZES for being LATE. I accidentally led this SMALL child to the WRONG room" I feel a small irritation form within me when he emphasized the word small.

" Sigh, Jasper that is the third time this week" The man I gray robes responds " Please remember to read the engravings on the doors to ensure they are the right ones from now on."

" OF COURSE, I will Try my best."

" Anyways, Child may I please see your Identification Token?" The man in gray asks

I nod and hand him my necklace.

"It's a star?" He said seeming surprised. With that the others seemed confused too, but all I could think was 'Obviously'

"Tell me where did you find this Girl?" The man in gray asked the others

" We found her in Beginners Forest" Jacklyn tells the man. He then looks at me.

" Tell me have you ever been in a city before"

I shake my head

"Is their a reason she won't answer?" He asks and Blake interjects telling them I was not proficient enough with Universal language to talk consistently yet. Surprising the man, Jacklyn and Grant.

" So that's why she wouldn't talk to me?" both Jacklyn and Grant say in unison causing Blake to face palm.

" I see, well she seems a little old to have not mastered it yet, but I suppose that's none of my business. Since it is a star, as you all know represents the first Identification Token a person receives, typically for free, when their born I see no reason to charge you all. Have a pleasant evening all of you."

And with that we depart to find some cloths, as I fervently attempt to achieve max level with Universal language.
