Evolution.

Humans have always been evolving since the oldest of times, from Cavemen, Knights, Crusaders, The French Revolution, The World Wars, etc.

However, in all these eras and times, Gifts have always been present within all of them.

Gifts, these are abilities that humans are given as they grow up, everyone has a different gift, ranging from gifts that can help up in our daily lives, gifts that have destructive abilities, and gifts that even defy the laws of reality.

There are many unanswered questions on these mysterious and supernatural powers. Some call them a gift from God, some say that they are the work of Science, and some say that it simply exists and is the embodiment of our human spirit, and that we shouldn't question it.

And in this world full of people with different abilities...

I don't have a gift.

Or more like, I haven't unlocked mine yet which is really worrying. My name is Surryl, and I'm already 16 years old and entering the senior life of my high school. I'm already wayyy past the age of when I'm supposed to unlock my gift, the age of unlocking your gift is normally 12 years old, but there are people that unlock them earlier, to the point that there are even some who can use their gifts already the moment they are born.

Which is why I'm really desperate now, especially since I'm entering a school where developing Gifts is their number one priority.

Regnum Donum Habitum, or simply Realm of Gift Holders, is the most prestigious school in the whole world. It's location is unknown and only the talented people that are accepted in it are able to go in, all I know is that it's a magical place, and I heard that it exists in a different dimension. With the sole purpose of developing talented students, with the most powerful and unique Gifts!

I, who hasn't even unlocked my Gift yet, somehow got in.

EVEN I DON'T KNOW HOW I GOT IN, I JUST SUDDENLY RECEIVED AN INVITATION. I EVEN CONTEMPLATED IF IT WAS JUST A DREAM WHEN I RECEIVED IT.

But no, it was real. But how? Was this the work of someone? But I don't even have that many connections, or was I just lucky? I don't know how I got in, but here I am, standing in front of this gate in God knows where this place is, a person wearing RDH's school uniform just picked me up from home, brought me here, then suddenly just disappeared. I can't believe this...

But it doesn't matter, this might finally be an opportunity for me to know more about my gift and unlock it, and I definitely won't waste this chance.
