War of Nacos

Eugene unmounted on a horse.

The sounds of the swords colliding resurface the surrounding. Blood sheds everywhere and the soldier's scream is what indicates lives in the battle.

SFX: Bogshh.

The magicians cast a spell and throw it at the group of enemies.

Eugene raise his sword and swing it hard, a large wide blade made of mana cut the enemy soldiers' bodies so some backed away. It's an advantage as Eugene rushes forward toward the military vehicle to grab the otherworldly person that is probably inside.

"Eugene!"

Marquis Shradinza grits his teeth as he watches his son leave his army and step forward.

Duke Del viltaria stretches his hand preventing the Marquis from leaving his own army and said: "Believe Arkiton, he won't let something happen to your son." As that words drop, Marquis Shradinza saw Arkiton teleported behind Eugene and cast a spell towards the soldiers who are rushing forward to attack.

Marquis Shradinza let out a sigh of relief.

"Don't lose focus!"

Grand Duke Karsten leave Marquis Shradinza who had a red face and attacked in different directions, watching his son not too far away, trying to get near Eugene which made him sigh.

Casimin and Rasiel follow Kaizer, always wanting to go to Eugene.

Rasiel is smiling crazily while swinging his sword as blood splash on his face, saying: "Good, this is good. My blood is boiling, come, come to me! hahahaha."

Casimin frown at Rasiel.

"You're so dirty, can you cut their head clean? The blood is splattering on air and staining my clothes."

Rasiel paused and look at Casimin from head to toe.

"You, you are too delicate. It's just blood."

Casimin angrily kicked Rasiel's buttocks: "Who is delicate?! Rasiel repeat what you said so I can have my reason to beat you."

"Ouch, stop, you are being violent!"

"Who, who is violent?!"

Rasiel took a small step away, avoiding Casimin's hand: "I understand, I understand, don't get angry-- ah, ouch. Casimin we are in the-- ouch-- battlefield. In the middle of--ouch--hisss- battle!--Ahhh- - spare me!"

Casimin snort after beating Rasiel and run forward, leaving the dog with teary eyes.

Rasiel who is wronged didn't forget to attack the enemy who will come near him and run forward, wanting to catch up with Casimin and Kaizer. Well, can someone answer him why his friends keep chasing Eugene who doesn't even have them in his [Eugene] eyes?

Feeling aggrieved, Rasiel snorted.

——The battle is still ongoing but some go back to the resting area to replenish their energy. Eugene who found a man wearing a cloak running away immediately kidnaps the suspicious person away and goes back to their camp with the prisoner he arrested.

This is the otherworldly man, he can tell by the person's clothes.

"Y-You, don't kill me!"

When Eugene arrived at the camp, everyone looks at him and looks at the tied man he's dragging.

"Young master Shradinza, this is..."

"He's the person behind that strange vehicle you are saying."

Everyone gasps.

Eugene push the man towards the soldiers and said: "You go and put him in a strict confinement, I'll interrogate him after changing my clothes."

When he said that, only did the soldiers notice the blood-drenched military uniform of Eugene which made their jaw drop, wondering how many enemy soldiers this boy killed for looking like he had just bath in blood.

He used magic to remove the blood stain on his body and grab some change clothes in his storage ring. After that, he went out again to interrogate the prisoner and told everyone to guard him outside. Upon entering the tent, Casimin and others have also gone back to the camp to rest. Volunteers of their age can go back to the camp whenever they want because the adult knew they won't be able to endure that much fighting.

So some adult soldiers will help the young ones bandage their wounds while waiting to be healed or bring them food to regain their energy.

Eugene sat on a chair and cross his arms.

"You're from earth right?"

The man's eyes widen and said: "Y-You how did you--did you transmigrate too?!"

"I asked a question and you answer, you are now a prisoner of war you have no right to question me unless I let you. So I'm asking you, you are from Earth and how did you get here?"

The young man shrinks himself.

Eugene tilted his head.

"Offer things, including making a modern military vehicle for the Biscotti people to use. Do you know what kind of mistake you did and how it will damage this world?"

The young man's eyes widen: "I-I don't know, I-I thought it was okay, a-after all I don't want to be tortured!"

"Your occupation on earth, what is it?"

"I'm an engineer, a military engineer and---" Eugene raises his hand, hearing the word engineer is enough information for him. Now, this man who unfortunately transmigrated and fall to the Biscotti Kingdom was arrested and brought to the palace. A person like that falls from the sky, they're afraid it's a catastrophe so they wanted to kill the man but the man wanted to survive so he made a deal with them and proves himself by creating a world-changing modern vehicle.

It's a wise move to survive but a stupid decision.

A thing that doesn't belong in this world is not allowed to exist or it will distort the history and change the flow of the world.

"I join the war even if dangerous because I wanted to escape along the way."

"How many vehicles did you make?"

"Only three, the time is not enough so I am only able to make three."

"Did you give them the blueprint of a military vehicle?"

The man shook his head: "They don't even understand how to read blueprint, what's the used? They probably thought I won't be able to leave the kingdom so they put down their guard."

Eugene taps his fingers on the table.

"What's your name?"

"Milan Fullanza."

Eugene stood up: "Then Millan, don't think of escaping, the empire's soldiers are different from the Biscotti empire's. Stay here obediently and don't offend anyone. Since you only made three, all I need to do is destroy the three modern vehicles and erase their existence in this world. You give me too much work here, when I go back, I'll deal with you."

Milan's face turns pale.

"Y-You will kill me?"

Eugene scoffs: "What will I get by killing you? As long as you live by the rules of this world, I could care less about you."

Millan breath: "I-I won't escape."

"Good."

Eugene wears his gloves and walks out of the tent, informing the soldiers who are on duty to give the prisoner food to eat and don't treat it harshly. The soldiers are commoners and they knew Eugene is a noble just by the design of his military uniform so they immediately obey.

Afraid that they will be punished.

Eugene walk away and was about to enter the portal when Casimin block him.

"I heard you brought a prisoner."

"Yes, you can visit him but don't scare him too much."

Casimin frown: "Are you going back to the battlefield? Did you eat?"

"No, I'm full, I just go back to lock up the person I arrested and change clothes."

Casimin shows dissatisfaction with what he heard: "No need to hurry, you eat first, don't push yourself too much."

Eugene paused and lowered his head: "Alright."

He can't anger Casimin, his brother really loves to care for people.

——Eugene entered the tent of the Del Viltaria and saw Rasiel with his face on the bowl. Kaizer is probably still on the battlefield so only the three of them eat together.

After that, they go back to a warzone.

Casimin didn't bother to see the prisoner that Eugene caught. They focus on the battle and walk on the ground full of blood and bodies of dead soldiers.

Eugene feel his arm numb so he stood still and raise his hand: "Arisa."

Without a long chant, a huge magic circle appeared above the enemy's side which made everyone raise their head. Duke Del Viltaria, Grand Duke Karsten, and Marquis Shradinza had their eyes widen, their pupils dilated and looked at Eugene in surprise.

"Magic?!"

Casimin's jaw drops and he looks at Eugene strangely.

Rasiel is also dumbfounded: "A dualist?! Eugene is a dualist?!"

Everyone's heart started to beat fast and the enemy start to panic so their commanders shouted for their army to retreat. Eugene's eyes glow and his moonstone-grey eyes slowly fade away, replace with golden pupils. The magic circle gets bigger and bigger and the immense mana that the magician can feel is enough to bring pressure.

In the end, the enemy was pushed to the ground and they all kneel in confusion.

Grand Duke Karsten's face turn firm.

The amount of mana can also pressures him, which surprises him the most. He thought only his eldest can do it, but Eugene can actually make everyone fall on their knees just by the pressure of a casted magic. He's afraid that the Nacos will be destroyed if Eugene activates the huge spell.

"Arkiton, it's not good. The Nacos will be wiped out."

Duke Del Viltari's face was ashen.

"Though I want to praise you and the Marqui's bloodline but not only the enemy but also us will get impacted by this spell. I know you can feel it too."

Duke Viltaria run forward and stood in front of Eugene.

"Don't do it."

Eugene tilted his head, his eyes held no emotion: "Why?"

A dry and cold voice...Duke Viltaria gulped, wondering what happen to his son, it look different from the past.

"Calm down, I know you wanted to end this war in a hurry but you---"

Eugene chuckled: "Father..."

Duke Del Viltaria froze and he look at Eugene with wide eyes.

"Right, are you surprised? I've been pent up recently, can you let me vent my anger here?"

Duke Del Viltaria understands the meaning of his word so his face is pale and looks at his son in panic. How? How did Eugene know that he is his father? He sealed up his lover's memories to avoid the matter from being known but his son actually knew it all along?! His pupils dilated and his hands tremble, not knowing what to say or what to do.

"I don't need an explanation. What I need to let out this anger."

Duke Del Viltaria step back.

Eugene let out a low laugh, "Thank you, Father."

Duke Del Viltaria look at his son, dazed, his heart beat fast when he heard Eugene calling him father. But he knew, his son is being sarcastic in his every word. Eugene's golden pupils mirror the figure of the duke and Duke Viltaria who is staring at the golden eyes that indicate Eugene's mixed blood of Del Viltaria feel complicated.

The seal was broken.

Eugene started to show his feature of the blood Del Viltaria.

This time, he can't cover up his affair.

Eugene roll his eyes and retracted his hand but the magic circle above didn't disappear: "I won't activate it, but I'll leave it there so that everyone will always think that I held their lives and I can end it whether I'm happy or not."

"Kaizer!"

Eugene and Duke Del Viltaria turn their head and saw the Grand Duke running in the direction of his son who suddenly lose consciousness.

"Arkiton I'll go back to the camp! You lead the battle!"

Grand Duke Karsten didn't wait for Duke Del Viltaria's reply and teleported. Seeing that the other side started to have a problem the enemy started to move and attack again so they move back their attention to fighting.

Duke Del Viltaria looks at his son deeply and whispers: "We'll talk when we go back."

Eugene shrug and summon his sword.

Casimin who has been watching purses his lips and suddenly realizes that there is something wrong with the way his father looks at Eugene. He doesn't know how to perceive it and he doesn't want to have a prejudice, he can only wait when going back to the camp and talk to his father to fulfill his curiosity.

Eugene still didn't move.

But when everyone turns their back on him, he put his palm on his cheeks and lets out a crazy smile which Marquis Shradinza happens to see and realize what his son is planning.

"No! Everyone go back!"

Eugene opens his mouth.

"Fire"

The huge magic circle activated, it glow and a loud explosion resounds. The ground vibrate and the surrounding was covered by a fog. If you look below you can see countless bodies on the ground, blood sipping out.

Turning his head, Eugene looks back.

He feels a familiar aura from Kaizer. He wanted to follow the duke and snatch Kaizer's body but he was not that crazy to fight the grand duke knowing how precious the son is. He can only wait if his doubt is true.

If that person awakens in Kaizer's body then...

A sweet smile forms and his eyes are full of craziness.

Ah haha, my darling. I will come and kill you.
