Unlike the forbidden, death-filled dark power of the Wither, the Nether Star gave off a warm feeling.

It could activate the inert energy inside the Nether Star, blessing most creatures in a particular area with this energy.

It could give a very small range of people god-like powers or extend its influence to make countless ordinary people healthier and less prone to illness.

As for the limit of this range...

If a base as magnificent as a pyramid could be constructed for the beacon, it would turn into a massive energy amplifier, eventually covering a quarter of the Earth.
