Later throughout the day, Will came by and dropped off his gifts.
Mia and Raven accepted them with a smile and thanked him.
Mia and Raven just sat and talked about their plans for the rest of the break.
"Hey, why do you guys look awfully close together?" Tory asked, seeing Raven and Mia only talking to each other.
The two were slightly embarrassed.
Although they could tell their friends and some family about their feelings, telling the other sides of the family is different.
"We just get along well." Mia said with a smile.
Tory sighed.
"Well, we'll see you two at dinner later."
"Yeah, see you there," Mia said as she and Raven went upstairs to get ready for dinner.
When they went to a spare room, Raven helped Mia change into the clothes she had picked out earlier.
She had worn a lavender coloured sweater dress with black leggings.
"You look beautiful," Raven said as he fastened her hair clip.
"Thank you," Mia said, looking at him in the mirror.
Raven was wearing a green sweater and black jeans with a pair of leather boots.
"Are you ready?"
Mia nodded and took his hand.
As they entered the living room, the cousins were already leaving to head to dinner.
The atmosphere was filled with awkward silence as Mia and Raven tried to follow their cousins to the car.
They were joined by their parents and Aunt Laura, who gave them a sympathetic smile.
As the car drove, Mia and Raven looked at the streets of Christmas Eve, relishing in the magical holiday atmosphere.
Soon, the car came to a stop, and they all climbed out.
The family entered the restaurant, where they found the others sitting in the large dining area.
It was their grandparents who had joined them for dinner.
Mia and Raven both greeted them and said their hellos.
After everyone had ordered their meals, they continued conversing.
Raven and Mia listened as the family chatted.
They soon noticed that the conversation had shifted towards their holiday activities.
"So what do you two plan on doing for your Christmas break?" Their grandfather pointed at them two.
Their grandparents already knew about their relationship through their parents.
"Not much, just plan on spending time together by using our new Christmas gifts." Raven said
Raven then took out his phone and showed it to Mia, who had been taking pictures with him all day.
His grandfather was looking at them through the camera, and Mia waved at him with a smile.
"Wow, you two look cute together," their grandfather commented.
Raven and Mia smiled, but Tory caught something different in their grandfather's words.
"What does he mean that they're cute together?" She muttered.
She then looked at the two smiles and felt that something was wrong and couldn't figure it out.
Dinner passed by as they ate dinner ranging from turkey, ham, corn, carrots, potatoes, and different soups.
After eating, both of the family parted ways and headed to their own home.
In the car, it was just Raven, Mia, and their parents.
Raven and Mia listen to their parents complain about how their cousins have no respect.
Raven then took out his phone and started messaging Mia.
Raven: My Room when we get home?
Mia felt her phone vibrate and checked it.
Seeing it was Raven, she smiled.
Mia: Sure, what are we doing?
Raven: idk, watch some Christmas movies? Or check out some of our gifts?
Mia rolled her eyes, reading Raven's text.
Mia: We only got clothing from our cousins.
Raven: Yeah? Put them on and I'll rate them.
Mia blushed and put away her phone, not forgetting to give Raven a look.
Soon, they arrived home, and Raven and Mia entered their room.
They changed out of their clothes and put on some comfortable Christmas clothing.
Mia and Raven both snuggled into bed cuddling as they watched a few classic Christmas movies.
This went on for about 3 hours until it hit midnight.
"Sleep well, as tomorrow is Christmas." Raven said.
Mia nodded and buried her head in his chest.
Raven smiled and closed his eyes to sleep.
In the morning, the two woke up and went to get ready for Christmas.
The two quickly took a shower and put on their new clothes they had received from their cousins.
Mia wore a dark blue sweater dress and a black t-shirt with black leggings.
Raven wore a white long sleeve shirt, with a brown jacket, with a pair of jeans.
The two quickly put on their shoes and met in the living room, where the family had gathered.
It was Christmas, and everyone was excited to open up their gifts.
"Ah, not yet, my darling." Their mother said.
"After breakfast you guys can open them."
Raven nodded, looking down at Mia's finger.
The two held hands and sat down on the love seat.
As they sat down and waited for breakfast, they had a lighthearted conversation.
"Breakfast!"
Raven and Mia were startled and hurried to the dining table.
As they ate, Mia could see that Raven was thinking.
She wondered if he was thinking about her or what he was going to do with the present she had given him.
Raven was thinking about Mia and how to purpose perfectly to her..
After all, he only has one shot.
Breakfast went by in a flash, and the family gathered around the Christmas tree.
Raven, Mia, Will, sat on the couch as their parents gave them their stockings first.
They go through it, take out the chocolate, clothing, and other items from the stockings and put it in a bag.
They then go to the living room and stand in front of the Christmas tree.
"Come on, look more like a happy family." Their mother said, taking out a camera.
The three put their arms around each other.
Raven was in the centre, Mia to his right, Will to his left.
"Smile!" their mother shouted.
A flash went off, and she looked at the picture.
"Again." She said.
This time, it was their father who shouted.
"Sex!"
Raven and Will smiled, and Mia blushed at hearing their father's words.
Their mother smiled in satisfaction and nodded.
"Not bad, not bad."
