Bowling

Mia took his hand and pulled him to a bowling alley.

"So you want to go bowling today?" Raven asked.

Mia nodded her head.

"Okay, let's do that then."

As soon as they stepped into the building, they immediately noticed that it was packed with people.

Raven shifted his gaze towards Mia and looked directly at her.

"Do you want to play one game or two?"

"Two games should do."

Raven nodded, and they went up to the counter to pay for their lane.

"So do you know how to play?" Raven asked with some embarrassment.

He had no clue on how to bowl or anything.

Mia chuckled.

"You're lucky I do," she said.

With a confident stride, Mia walked over to the lanes and kindly showed to Raven the proper way to play.

Raven used Vanessa to copy Mia's skills and improve his own skills to surpass hers.

The game started, and they were competing against each other.

On Raven's first attempt, he knocked over four pins, but he could knock down the rest on his second try.

Mia's first attempt at knocking down pins resulted in eight of them falling, and she successfully knocked down the remaining pin on her second try.

"Humph, I did better on the first attempt." Mia said proudly.

Raven chuckled.

"I guess so."

Mia went to the bathroom, returning with two sodas and sat down at their lane.

"Did you finish your turn?" She asked.

Raven nodded.

"A strike." He said nonchalantly.

"Hey, you said you've never played before." Mia pouted.

Raven laughed.

"Don't worry, I've already mastered this game."

Mia laughed and smacked his arm.

"Showoff."

"Of course," Raven replied, smiling.

"Okay, next round then."

They finished their game, having a tie at 215 points each.

"You didn't do so bad," Mia said.

"Of course, I purposely made it a tie," Raven muttered.

"Huh? What did you say?" Mia asked in confusion.

Raven sighed.

"Never mind," he replied.

After finishing their game, both of them stood up and left the bowling alley.

"Well, that was fun," Mia said, looking at Raven.

He smiled.

"I'm glad."

She kissed him on the cheek.

"What do you want to do next?"

"Anything you want," Raven said with a smirk.

Mia thought for a moment.

"Well, there's a nice place near here we could go. But it's kinda expensive."

Raven shrugged.

"No problem, we don't lack money."

Mia took him to a delightful restaurant where they enjoyed a delicious dinner, accompanied by some drinks.

"What do you think of this place?" Mia asked.

"It's very fancy and very expensive." Raven shrugged.

Mia looked at him.

"Thanks."

Upon finishing their meals and settling their bill, they calmly walked out of the restaurant.

"I feel like we've done everything." Mia pouted.

"Hmm." Raven agreed. "There are still a couple of things, but let's save that for next year."

Mia nodded.

She then notices Nora walking alone, hanging out with three athletic guys.

"Seems like she's doing fine." Mia said disdainfully.

Raven shrugged.

"She already got what she deserved."

Mia nodded and took his arm.

"Well, let's go back home. It's chilly out."

Raven nodded and walked back home.

Having returned, he went to his room while Mia went to her own, both of them having parted ways.

The upcoming days were booked for Raven, as studying was the only task on his schedule.

Even though he has gained enough knowledge to get through the upcoming exam, he also has a math tournament that he is preparing for.

He had Vanessa improve his skills in all fields, and he had Mia study for the exams as well.

A month had passed since they said goodbye to school and moved on to other things.

Mia rarely studies and her marks are iffy, but if she wants to get into college to get into soccer, she still needs to graduate.

At the precise moment when Raven was lost in thought, Mia walked into his room.

"Hey Raven, are you doing anything?" Mia asked.

"Just studying," he said without looking at her. "You should do that too."

Mia looked at him and smiled.

"Why don't you take a break and we play something?"

Raven shook his head.

"I need to study. Don't distract me."

Mia sighed.

"Fine, I'll just watch you then."

Raven thought for a moment, "No, you come join me."

Mia's eyes widened in horror.

"No, no. I don't have maths this semester." She said in a panic.

Raven looked at her with a serious expression.

"You need to get good marks for the college you want to get into." He said, "Besides, maths is just about patterns."

"But it's hard." She protested.

"Just look at it as if you're trying to build a game."

Mia groaned and walked over to Raven's desk.

"Fine, but don't expect me to pass."

Raven chuckled, "Of course."

Having studied for an hour, Raven felt the need to take a break.

Mia felt a sense of joy and happiness about this.

For approximately thirty minutes, she had been staring at the same problem with no progress.

"You owe me a date of my choice." Raven said.

Mia laughed and nodded her head.

"Alright, that's fair."

Raven smiled and opened his arms wide.

"Hug?"

Mia smiled and walked over to him, giving him a tight hug.

Raven put his arms around her waist.

Mia looked up at him and pecked him on the lips.

Raven felt his cheeks turning red as he saw the smile on her face.

He then kissed her on the lips, deeper than usual.

He felt her breath stop for a second before she wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss.

Their tongues danced around each other, enjoying their passion.

After a couple of minutes, Raven broke the kiss and looked at her.

Mia blushed as she looked back at him, panting.

They were about to go at it again, but were stopped by the sound of their mother shouting.

"Dinner!"
