Chapter 62: Burden of Hades

In the rather unique medical faculty of the palace, Erland was lying down being asleep. Its furnishings and decorations were of lighter colors than most furnishings in the palace. The wall was white and the glasses were turquoise, letting the patients see the dark underworld.

When Erland woke up, he saw his friend, Frode waiting for him to wake up, holding a plate of foods.

"Good morning, your majesty." said Frode. His face looked bitter as the taste in Erland's mouth.

"Ugh. What is this taste. Ew..." said Erland with his tongue out.

"I will be going then." Frode put the foods on Erland's lap and turned around to walk away.

"Wait."

"I am not answering to someone who betrayed his friend." 

Erland scoffed. "I betrayed you?! You are the one who almost pushed me to the brink of...not death but something worse."
