Taking his gaze away from Kuzu, Samato deactivated the byakugan and rubbed his slightly itchy eyes. It had been quite a long time since he had managed to fully awaken his kekkei genkai, but it was still a drop in the bucket.

Standing with his back to the children, a man whose empty face was directed towards Kuzu the grass under which slowly began to turn red. Although by his expression, one might think that the man was quite calm and collected, but in the depths of his eyes, emotions could be seen rapidly changing from anger to fear.

Not seeing the emptiness and emotional orchestra in Hiko's eyes, Samato squinted around to look at the other two Hyugas standing a little behind. At the first visual contact with their facial expressions, the scientist realized that, although they were confused, there was a faint anger combined with emotion in their eyes.

All of a sudden, a quick movement from Hiko caught Samato's attention. Turning in his direction, he saw Captain Hyuga quickly stretched out hand to him. In the next moment, the scientist felt himself in a strong grip, which a moment later, was replaced by a sudden pressure, with the blurring of the environment, which lasted for a moment.

Quickly orienting himself, Samato realized that now he was standing right next to the bleeding Kuzu, who by that time had been turned over and with fear in his eyes, was being held in his arms by one of the two Hyugas of the side branch.

- Samato, please help your friend.

A calm voice rang out, in which the scientist heard notes of despair and anger. Casting a fleeting glance at Hiko and seeing his emotionless expression, Samato portrayed concern and anxiety on his face, quickly crouching down in front of Kuzu.

Removing a large sealing scroll from his back and spreading it on the ground, he placed his palm on it, with the other hand, he folded the seal. Immediately, in a cloud of smoke, several medical instruments and gloves, already previously visible by Commander Hyuga, appeared from the scroll.

Quickly taking off his combat leather gloves, Samato kept up the pace, grabbed medical gloves, putting them on. After looking at the bleeding body of his teammate, he frowned and blinked several times, with a slightly painful expression on his face, reactivated the byakugan.

Looking at the two terrified Hyugas with pale faces, Samato spoke worriedly.

- Put him on his back in front of me and step aside. - Glancing at the calm Hiko, he said with uncertainty in his voice, - Hiko–san, I'm not sure I can help Kuzu. The blow went to the heart and I don't have a lot of experience in this. I didn't even count on such an outcome and didn't take the medical scrolls with me.

Hearing this, a gloomy shadow flashed across Hiko's previously calm face, but forcing a smile, he spoke reassuringly.

Pursing his lips tightly, Samato turned back to Kuzu, whose condition was rapidly deteriorating. The scientist, with the help of byakugan, saw how the vital energy in the boy's body began to quickly deplete.

Concentrating and calmly starting to examine the wound, Samato began to depict violent activity. From the torn and rather deep wound, a copious amount of blood was coming out, staining the standard white clothes of the Hyuga clan, in red.

The injury, according to Samato himself, was not very serious. Although the blade consisting of the wind chakra reached the heart, but due to the rather unstable state of the flows of Romero's chakra, it did not have such a strong density and strength. Samato saw only minor injuries on the heart itself, which with enough effort he could heal.

"We need to somehow aggravate the wound. Hiko, who saw how I cured a woman in the village, will surely suspect something is wrong if I can't even alleviate Kuzu's condition. Hmm, although the damage to the heart itself is quite small, but they are already fatal. So if I increase them a little, it should be enough to give at least some excuse for my inability to cure it. It is necessary to somehow get rid of such close observation."

Thinking over his actions, Samato felt the eyes of the byakugan of the whole team directed at him, closely following his actions. Frowning and coming to a certain idea, he looked at Hiko.

- Hiko-san, please, I can't concentrate on my task while feeling all these eyes on me.

Surprised by Hiko, did not understand at first, but after looking around, he saw how almost the entire team gathered around this place, staring at the half-dead Kuzu and Samato, sitting in front of him. Already angry enough, the man got even more angry and opened his mouth, shouted at the members of his team.

Having heard the angry cry of their captain that had spread around, all the ninja branches came to their senses and gathered a little and bowed, turned around, each in his own direction, disappeared, leaving the three children and Hiko alone in a small clearing. Straightening up, Hiko saw that the boy thought for a moment, then, to his inner satisfaction, nodded and stopped paying attention to him, with an indecisive expression, began to treat Kuzu.
