CHAPTER 17 : BATTLE OF THE KAGES AND NEW PLANS

The Mizukage and Onoki were staring at each other seriously.

The battlefield was set, a clash of titans amidst a landscape frozen in time. Onoki, the Stone's Third Tsuchikage, stood resolute, his sturdy frame a testament to the endurance of the earth itself. Opposite him, the Third Mizukage, a master of the icy arts, emanated an aura as cold as the depths of the frozen sea.

Onoki's keen eyes narrowed as he surveyed his opponent, while the Third Mizukage remained eerily calm, his icy gaze fixed on his quarry. With a sudden burst of speed, Onoki propelled himself forward, his Earth Release techniques shaping the terrain to his advantage.

But the Third Mizukage was not to be underestimated. With a flick of his wrist, he summoned torrents of ice, weaving them into intricate patterns that danced through the air. Onoki deftly dodged the icy onslaught, his mastery of the Dust Release allowing him to disintegrate the frozen projectiles before they could find their mark.

The battlefield became a flurry of earth and ice, each combatant pushing their elemental prowess to the limit. Onoki's Stone Golem technique clashed against the Third Mizukage's Frozen Dragon jutsu, the ground trembling with the force of their collision.

Yet, as the battle raged on, it became clear that neither opponent could gain the upper hand. Onoki's earth-based defenses proved formidable, but the Third Mizukage's icy arsenal was relentless. It was a battle of attrition, each combatant testing the limits of their endurance and skill.

In a final, desperate gambit, Onoki unleashed his most powerful technique, the Dust Release: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu. The very earth trembled as he unleashed a wave of destructive force, seeking to overwhelm his icy foe.

But the Third Mizukage was prepared. With a swift motion, he erected a barrier of solid ice, deflecting the devastating attack with ease. And in the moment of Onoki's vulnerability, he struck, unleashing a barrage of icy shards that pierced through the Tsuchikage's defenses.

Onoki: "Is that all you've got? Doton: Doryu Taiga!"

The ground beneath Onoki surged, creating a wall of stone to intercept the incoming icicles. But Third Mizukage wasn't done yet. He unleashed a blizzard, attempting to freeze Onoki in his tracks.

Third Mizukage: "You underestimate the power of ice, Onoki! Your earth cannot withstand the chill of my Frozen World!"

Onoki: "You talk too much! Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World!"

Onoki gathered his chakra, unleashing his Dust Release technique. The earth beneath Third Mizukage crumbled, mixing with the air to form a deadly storm of microscopic particles. Caught off guard, Third Mizukage found himself engulfed in the swirling mass.

Third Mizukage: "No... this can't be..."

Onoki emerged from the dust, his eyes narrowed in determination.

Onoki: "Your ice may be formidable, but against the power of Dust Release, it stands no chance."

With a final surge of earth manipulation, Onoki shattered the icy battlefield, leaving Third Mizukage defeated beneath the rubble.

Onoki: "Remember this, Third Mizukage. Earth will always triumph over ice."

And with that, Onoki emerged victorious, leaving behind a testament to the unyielding strength of the Tsuchikage.

'Clap! Clap! Clap!' " Well done Onoki Well Done. Truly this battle was magnificent. You have proven that amongst the Two of you, you Onoki were the greater shinobi. I firmly believe that this is the most desirable death the Mizukage could have asked for. To die as an honorable shinobi and not be slaughtered like a pig."

Looking towards me Onoki asked," Will you keep your word then?"

" Yes. As promised I will let you go, But only you. I know that not only you but no kage would like to see their men slaughtered but I am sorry, I cannot let your shinobi leave. The world will know that the Uzumakis activated a suicide seal and blew up the entire island. Only you who knew the method of flying were able to escape. But I shall Promise you this 'From this day onwards I will never take up arms against Iwa and kill youR shinobi in any form of combat. Unless they have defected from your village of course. Will that do for you?"

Sighing Onoki replied," I guess that is the best I can get"

"Oh! It seems the battle has come to an end. Lets go. A carry the mizukages body with us."

The shadow A nodded and picked up the dead body of the Mizukage. Arriving at the battlefield I sensed that all of the 30,000 shinobi who had come to invade UZU have been killed. Out of the fifty demons 23 were still alive. Turning towards the demons I said < CANCEL SUMMON >

The demons all shattered and broke apart like ashes. Looking towards the field I saw my shadows all gathering all the dead bodied that have been scattered in a single place. Waiting for five minutes for them to finish I went forward and extended my arm " ARISE "

ONOKI POV

Although I know that I cannot save my men I was relieived when Lucifer promised that from now on he will not kill any Iwa shinobi unless they have defected from the village. The Loss of around 10,000 men is a big loss as almost half of my villages shinobi have been killed. But if this is what it takes to keep this monster away then so be it. The sacrifices of our men will not be in vain.

Looking towards the battle field I saw Lucifer making some sort of undead soldiers out of the dead shinobis. Although I have seen him use this on the third Raikage before, But seeing this in such a scale is truly horrifying. Just Imagining that even after death this man can use you to strengthen himself is utterly terrifying. 

I saw all 30,000 shinobi who once were of IWA KUMO and KIRI all bow to this man and pledge their loyalty to him. Just how strong is this man. The mere thought of that gave me chills!!!

GENERAL POV

 Turning towards Onoki I said," You can go now. I will lift the Barrier."

" Very well"

Focusing my chakra I willed for the barrier to be released and the truth seeking orbs to dissipate. 

"You guys can return to the Shadow realm now." My shadows obeyed my commands and vanished into my shadow.

Turning my head towards the Uzu village I rushed towards it. I could sense the chakra of all the villagers assembled at the gates of the village. Reaching it I saw that the entire village was waiting for my arrival. Spotting me they all kneeled on the ground and touched their heads on the ground.

The Uzukage spoke up," Never in my wildest dreams I thought I would see a day when the long told legend of our clan will come to fruition in front of our eyes. If today You did not come to protect us I cannot imagine any of us surviving. Our clan has been saved by you not once but twice now. How can we ever repay you, my Lord?"

"Everyone please raise your heads. As for me saving you, I did it because I knew that the uzumaki clan was worth protecting. If you truly want to repay me then come with me. I will provide you home, food, and training to better yourselves. Will you accompany me to my abode?"

" WE WILL FOLLOW YOU WHEREVER YOU TAKE US " " ALL HAIL LORD LUCIFER" " ALL HAIL LORD LUCIFER"

'Well that's all done with.' " Very well. pack your things we leave in an hour "

" IT SHALL BE DONE MY LORD."

ONE HOUR LATER

All of the uzumakis were gathered near the center of the village. Around 5,000 uzumakis were present. Creating a shadow clone I told the Uzukage" My clone will take you to my home and help you settle in. By the way Hashirama and Tobirama are also present there so you can also ask them for assistance. I will blow up this island. To the outside world the uzumaki clan will be dead. I will meet you in a few hours."

"Very well my lord"

I created a gate with the destination of the moon and waited for the entire population to pass through it. After they were gone I contemplated an idea to destroy the uzumaki island. 

Flying in the skies above Uzushio I opened my palm. Concentrating on it I first I used my Fire Manipulation to form a big orb of fire. Concentrating on it next I added the Wind Element followed by the Lightining Element. Finally I used pure Yin Yang release and added it to the mixture. 

The jutsu began with the formation of a pulsating, intensely glowing core at the center of my hand. As I went on adding the rest of the elements, tendrils of energy, resembling crackling lightning and swirling winds, could extend outward from the core, followed by a sudden burst of intense light, the core expanded rapidly, engulfing the surrounding area in a blinding flash.

'Wow!! This is good. A never seen element. Hurray for me I guess.' The bright light slowly subsided as it condensed into the palm of my hand. Looking at it I could feel the intense energy it was giving of. It looked like a ball of bright white light condensed in my hands.

'System How much damage can this cause?'

< THE JUTSU IN HOST'S HAND CAN WIPE OUT ONE FOURTH OF THE EARTH'S LANDMASS AND WATER. IT WILL ALSO KILL OFF ALL LIFE WITHIN A 100 KM RADIUS. IF YOU ADD MORE POWER TO IT THIS JUTSU HAS THE POTENTIAL TO DESTROY ENTIRE PLANETS.>

' What is the current level of the jutsu in my hand right now?'

" Damm. This is good. But I won't need so much energy to destroy an island. well let's try lowering the chakra output."

I lowered the chakra output of the ball which was the size of a basketball until it turned to the size of a ping pong ball. ' Lets try with this first.'

Flicking my hand I threw the ball towards the island. For added protection I formed four truth seeking orbs and wrapped them around me like a cocoon. I did not have to wait for long as the ball hit the ground. A blinding flash of light erupted from the point of impact, illuminating the entire island in a dazzling display of raw power. The ground trembled violently as shockwaves rippled outward, tearing through the earth and shattering everything in their path.

A towering pillar of flame and smoke rose into the sky, casting a dark shadow over the once serene landscape. The very air vibrated with the force of the explosion, sending shockwaves reverberating across the sea, disrupting the calm waters and creating tumultuous waves that crashed against the island's shores.

The explosions lasted for half an hour and the sound it produced, If I had to take a guess I would say that the entire elemental nations heard it. The entire island was gone. Nowhere to be seen. instead of an island there was a huge hole in the center of the vast ocean as if someone had just scooped up a part of the ocean and it never filled up. Thunderclouds gathered in the sky and bombarded the water with its thunderous fury. The raw energy that was being emitted from the place would have disintegrated anyone if they dared to come too close to it.

In the future, People of this planet would refer to this event as the wrath of mother nature and the place where once Uzushio stood would be called the Vortex of Death. 

 " Fuck. This is awesome. System what level was the Jutsu I used?"

< IT WAS AROUND LEVEL 5 HOST>

" Damm. This is magnificent. Well let's go and greet Konoha.

IN KONOHA

It was a normal day for the people of konoha. Well as normal it can be during War time. Although there were a lot of strong shinobi present in the village the lingering fear of war and the unease it brought with it never left the village. 

Today the people of konoha were going on with their daily business when suddenly they heard an explosion. This would not cause a panic as living in a shinobi village explosions are very common originating from the training grounds. But this one was different. It started with a bright light that came from the northwest part of the sky. And then came the sound. It was so massive that many would have lost their hearing that day. The explosion continued for a full 30 minutes before it slowed down and finally stopped. The people were in a massive pandemonium. Seeing the situation the Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi ordered a village wide Lockdown and ordered the strongest shinobis of the leaf to gather at the hokage tower. The sky was filled with thunder clouds and lightning was striking the ground at random intervals. It took 15 minutes for all the shinobi to help the civilians to the shelter and help those who were injured. 

On the Hokage tower many shinobi have gathered. In them were the newly crowned Sanins i.e. Tsunade, Orochimaru and Jiraiya. The heads of the various clans along with the White fang were also present. Danzo had also been informed and was present there.

" What do you think is happening Hiruzen?" Danzo started the conversation with what was on every bodies mind. 

" The whether in konoha has never been like this since its founding. I don't feel good about this Hiruzen." Koharu added

" Do you think its natural?" Homura enquired

" It would be quiet disturbing to imagine any human with the capability to affect the whether to this degree. An explosion of a huge magnitude has taken place somewhere and this is the result of it. This is my current guess." Hiruzen answered

" What should we do hokage sama?" The ANBU head asked. 

" For now see to it that all the civilians have been escorted to the shelters. Provide them with enough food and water to last them at least a week. Clan heads please have your clan shinobis do the same." Hiruzen

" As you command hokage sama."

Just as they were about to move out to execute their orders a voice sounded above the thunderous skies of Konoha, " SHIMURA DANZO. GET OUT FOR ME" 

The Clan Leaders and the ANBU operatives got ready in a defensive position. Hiruzen, Danzo , Koharu and Homura looked up and it took a few seconds for them to identify the person flying above Konoha. 

" Lucifer- Sama?" Hiruzen stuttered out.

" You know him Sensei?" Orochimaru asked.

" Well not personally but yes. During my days of being a member of Tobirama Senseis team member I had met him. Sensei told us that Lucifer Sama was the one who defeated the entire armies of Kumo and Iwa by himself to help konoha during the first war. He also said that Lucifer Sama is stronger than both Madara and the First Hokage combined. Be on your guards and don't be disrespectful. That is an order to all of you." Hiruzen said in a firm voice.

The gathered shinobis all had their eyes widened at the statement. It did not take them long to understand the significance and importance of the man before them. Turning towards me Hiruzen said, " Lucifer Sama what brings you to Konoha in this bad whether?"

" What brings me here !! I am here to kill Danzo Shimura. I will say this once 'Give me Danzo and I will spare you from my wrath."

"Presumptuous. Don't speak non sense. why will I surrender myself to you for no reason. Although you are strong do not think Konoha does not have the strength to defeat you." Danzo shouted back in an angry tone.

" Can we talk in a more civilized manner?" Hiruzen tried to be the peace keeper for both parties.

" You want peace. very well I will tell you why my demands are justified and what will happen if you do not obey them." Raising my hands I swiped it at the sky. In an instant all the thunder clouds in the sky disappeared. The sun was shining brightly in the sky and if one was not present there a few moments ago you couldn't tell that there was a storm going on.

Turning towards the people on the roof I said " Do yo know what has happened in Uzushiogakure?"

The people were mostly confused and Tsunade spoke up in concern, " Did something happen with the uzumaki clan?"

" The Nations of Kumo Kiri and Iwa formed an alliance and have attacked the island of Uzu with a force of 30,000 Shinobis."

Gasps were heard all around as the people present understood that their allies were in danger.

Hiruzen taking the Moment to take control of the situation ordered," Gather our troops. We will go to Uzushio right now to support our allies and save them."

" You are already too late." I said in a firm voice. " The uzumakis have been wiped out from the face of the earth. There is no more an Uzumaki clan to save."

"NOO !" A grief stricken voice was heard. Turning around everyone saw Mito Uzumaki nee Senju, The wife of the first Hokage and the Princess of the Uzumaki clan. " How can this happen" Mito sobbed out. Right now no one could see the Sealing Princess and fierce Kunoichi, but only an old heart broken Lady who has lost her entire family. Tsunade rushed towards her and hugged her grandmother to support her emotionally although she herself was shedding tears of sorrow.

The rest of the shinobis present also kept silent among the anguished wails of Mito. They raised their fists to their heart and closed their eyes to pay respects and condolences to their once allied clan. 

" We will hold a funeral for our Fallen brothers and sisters. Orochimaru go and form a team to go to the Land of Whirlpools and collect the remains of the Uzumakis. We shall give them a proper burial here in konoha. " Hiruzen Intervened again

"Again that would not be necessary. " I said out stopping Hiruzen's orders

 " I understand that it is a loss for Konoha that we were not able to help our allies in time. But Lucifer Dono what does it has to do with Danzo. Why are you so angry on him to want to kill him?" Sakumo Hatake asked

All eyes were fixed on me as I opened my mouth to speak, " Do you know why the nations banded together to kill the Uzumaki clan?"

" Is it because of their sealing prowess?" the Nara clan head replied.

" Correct. They saw the Uzumaki clan as a threat that was growing to fast for them. So they decided to band together and finish them off. Danzo here also saw them as a threat. He provided them with the ways to bypass the whirlpools and the counterseals to deactivate their defensive mechanisms. "

"WHAT!!" the people on the roof shouted. A killing intent so intense arose form Mito that it would make the Nine Tails look like a cute little Puppy in front of her. She was all ready and about to disassemble Danzo when I stopped her, " Wait Mito. There is more. The people of this village need to hear the whole truth before we kill this bastard." Mito looked at me with blood red eyes and then looked at Danzo. If looks could kill, no amount of Izanagi in the world would have been enough for Danzo to stay alive at that moment. 

" This is not the first time Danzo had done something like this. His bandaged right eye. Although he hides it with seals I can clearly sense Kagami Uchiha's Sharingan inside of it. So then Danzo who is next on you list? Is it the Uchiha ? That would give you a good harvest of sharingans to use for Izanagi wouldn't it? Or maybe the Hyuga? Many can't resist the temptation of the byakugan. Perhaps your next target is the Nara clan. With their Intelligence and Shadow skills they indeed are a threat towars you." 

" Lies All Of it. I would never do such a thing. There is no motive for me to do this. all you are spouting are lies."

" Oh really. Your motive is what you always wanted. The position of Hokage. Killing Clans within konoha and failing to save your allies. Enough to discredit Sarutobi as a Hokage for him to be impeached, and your chances are pretty good, I think we all know that."

" You have no proof. This is a lie. Sarutobi this guy is insane." 

" You want proof. Well then here you go " Saying this I used a mind transfer technique to show everyone present there a menta video. In it people could clearly see Danzo meeting with the Kages of the three villages and giving them information on how to bypass the defenses of the uzumaki clan. When the video ended all of the shinobi present were looking at danzo with Hatred in their eyes. Without a pause I continued 

" Hiruzen I will Give you a choice. Give me Danzo and I will spare your village, Don't and I will not care for any one and slaughter you all. Tell me hiruzen what will you do? Will you sacrifice Danzo for Konoha or Konoha for Danzo?"

Hiruzen's eyes were wavering at the declaration. Honestly he had no answer. Although his heart told him that Danzo should die for his action, His position of hokage needed him to prevent Danzo from being killed by an outsider. Finally he reached his decision, " Although what Danzo did was wrong I cannot let you kill him. As the hokage of this village it is my duty to Protect everyone in my village. I cannot willing hand Danzo over to you, It would make the position of Hokage obsolete and unrequired. Please try to understand my situation."

Not only Mito and Tsunade but every person present had one thought going through their head, " Has he gone crazy. Why in the Infinite fucks is he trying to save this Bastard?"

It even surprised me that Hiruzen will try to save Danzo.' Well let's see if I can use this to my advantage.'

" You want to save Danzo. Do you know what that means. It was my fury that has drowned Uzushio to the bottom of the oceans with everyone who tried to attack it. Do you want me to unleash my attacks on konoha?"

" That storm was your making?" Uchiha head.

" You drowned Uzushio?" Hyuga head

" Yes to both of you. And I still have enough chakra left to do it again."

" No no please there is no need for violence. Apart for killing Danzo please you can ask for anything, I as the Hokage Promise You that I will not go back on my word and will provide you with what you want." Hiruzen shouted

'Perfect' " Very well then, I want Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki, Tsunade Senju, Nawaki Senju, Hatake Sakumo and his family, Minato Namikaze to leave konoha and come with me. Although the senju clan had built this village this is not the ideal place for my friends family to reside in anymore. Also any clan or person willing to follow me has to be allowed to do so without any questions."

" Whhhaatt??" Hiruzen, Danzo , Homura and Koharu with the rest of the people stuttered. 

" Hiruzen you must not allow this. " Homura shouted. 

" Yes this can't be happening" Danzo supported him.

" Don't go back on your word now Hiruzen. That would not do any good to this village."

"I as Hokage promise that if the people you mentioned want to follow you they are free to do so. Any clan is also free to leave. Konoha will not hold you responsible for leaving her." Hiruzen sighed in a defeated tone. 

 Sakumo raised his voice, " Why do you want me to follow you?" 

" You are an honest man. You do not deserve to live among these snakes."

" The Uchiha Clan wishes to follow you. We will not stay in a village where our superiors plot our death for their own agendas." I nodded towards the man.

" I too wish to follow you" A voice sounded.

" Jiraiya" Hiruzen said out in surprise.

" Sorry sensei but your decision today has made me question your leadership. If someday I see the Old man who taught me what means to be a ninja again I will return to this village." Jiraiya said in a sad voice. Hiruzen could do nothing but lower his head in shame. 

" Very well. You have 2 hours to pack your things. Meet me at training ground seven in two hours."

Saying this I disappeared from their view.
