The One Where Nana Died

"And I ended up having another date with her and she also wants to meet you guys which I have been postponing given how you lots can't behave yourselves as soon as you see her" said Adam who poured himself a drink.

It has been two weeks since Adam and Jill Goodarce met and they have went out to have dinner on several occasions so that she can be less nervous around him which has been going pretty well.

"Hey what do you mean, we can behave ourselves or have you forgotten about when how we went to your party and didn't cause a scene? That's just one of the instances where we proved ourselves, come on, just nobody gets to date Jill Goodarce this days" said Ross as he put his hands around Adam's neck.

"And not just anybody have a cousin like the chairman of SMART Groups" said Chandler to Ross.

Adam smiled and looked at Chandler "what do you say, I buy your company and have you be the CEO, huh?" Said Adam.

Chandler shook his head "no, don't do that, I don't want to work under you, at least not yet, I'm still comfortable with my job. All I have to do is just to input numbers and I get paid well, no stress" said Chandler while making a thoughtful face which is fully in its own rights.

And like that the friends chatted until Rachel came running out of her room "hey guys, guess what" she say so happily causing everyone to look at her.

"Paolo is calling from Rome?" Said Adam who remembered some bit about this episode after Chandler started talking about how he was mistaken to be gay at his workplace.

Rachel just looked at Adam as he got it too quickly taking all the fun that comes with it.

Ross on the other hands was not particularly happy with it and grumbled to Joey who was close to him "so he is calling from Rome? What's the big deal there, I can also do it, I just have to go to Rome and call either one of you and that's all it takes"

Joey just patted him on the shoulder while taking a big bite of his sandwich.

"So I'm curious, that Paolo guy cannot speak English and you can't speak Italian, how do you communicate in your relationship?" said Adam who was truly curious as to how Rachel was still this stupid to be in that kind of relationship after many things changing from the series due to his interference.

"Well, he says something and she just laughs at it from what I've seen so far" said Phoebe who was tunning her guitar.

"Seriously, come on Rachel, I thought you are better than this, I mean Barry is even better than this guy and from what I've heard you also kissed him on the same night you met him and the next moment you two are in a relationship. I don't mean to say anything rude but Rachel, I don't see this relationship going anywhere, I mean you don't even speak the same language, what if Paolo is trying to play you and he is even saying it to your face which obviously you won't be able to understand him. All I'm saying is don't give this relationship your all, it's not going to last"

Adam poured out everything that will make this relationship fail and he himself did not like that Paolo guy and it would be better both of them do not meet as they won't be able to stay under the same roof for even a minute as Adam will make sure he is out of their life.

Rachel went back into her room ready to burst into tears.

"That's way too harsh, and this so Rachel we are talking about here" said Monica as she stood up and followed Rachel.

Ross also felt bad for her even if he agreed with what Adam said but the way he putted it was way too harsh for Rachel to handle.

Adam also knew that what he said was too harsh for someone like Rachel but he had to say it if not Rachel would just take it as him joking around and still fool around with that Paolo guy.

"Now can we get back to what I was talking about? The one where I said I was mistaken to be gay at my workplace" said Chandler trying to get rid of the foul mood.

But he didn't succeed as Monica walked back in with a sad look on her face "Ross, Nana"

A few minutes later

Monica, Ross and Adam all arrived at the Hospital where Nana is admitted.

They saw Jack and Judy together with one of their Aunt waiting for the doctors to give them any information.

"Hey, are you alright, we came as soon as we heard what happened, and what did the doctor say about Nana, is she going to be okay?" asked Monica as she hugged her mother.

"Yes I'm okay and that doctors haven't said anything to us yet, we are still waiting but what happened to your hair" said Judy as she ran her hands through Monica's hair.

Monica quickly left her as she walked Ross and Adam who calmed her down.

And that's how they waited for the doctors who brought a devastating news to them.

Ross and Monica went to Nana's room to pay their final respect only to find out that she was still alive.

They quickly called the doctor who examined her and found out she was still alive only to die again the second time and this time, finally.

They watched as her body was taken to the Morgue before they left the hospital to their various homes.

The Trio headed straight to Central Perk where their friends were currently.

"What happened? How is your Nana?" Joey asked them.

"Well, she is dead" said Monica who got hugged by both Rachel and Phoebe who consoled her.

"Twice, she died twice, I mean how is that even Possible" said Ross.

The friends consoled both Monica and Ross throughout the night.
